Service was quick, very friendly, and knowledgeable. Wood fired grill right in the middle of restaurant, vintage wood refrigerator, butcher block counters and tables all screamed that this restaurant has a soul and character. Breakfast was so good went back same night for dinner.  This was the best steak in years and the only cut available at that time.  The side of tallow fried onion chips and mushrooms were again the best preparation of fried onion I've ever had.  House sauce was great. In the midst of chaotic produce section, a clerk took time to locate brussel sprouts that had just come into the store and put them in the public space. Enabling me to leave with a completed list of vegetables. A stocker noticed I was too short to get to the chocolate pudding. He not only grabbed a container, but also checked the experation date. The checker was courteous, and patient with my coupon. And Stuart was careful not to overfill my bags as he told me about his holiday plans. The place was crazy with last minute shoppers, and I did not experience a single negative person. Thank you to a wonderful crew.

Raising his voice and complaining that he is short handed. Also complaining that placing pick up orders online requires 3- 5 business days in advance, as per his instructions. Where as the on line orders go directly to him. Yet complains he doesn't have time. Why would a person order online, go to pick it up on the scheduled day, scheduled time only to be spoken to in the most rudest manner. Maybe he was having a bad day. Said he was short staffed. I can see why if he talks to his employees as does to the people supporting his store. Nice store just poorly run. Plus we drove 2 hrs for the online pickup.
