We've had a wonderful experience with the infant program so far. As first-time daycare parents, it was a huge adjustment emotionally, but the teachers have made us feel so comfortable leaving our baby in their care each day. I want to first start by saying my son's teacher was fabulous! She was so kind! Most everyone I met at the facility was extremely kind. If I hadn't felt a warm welcome I wouldn't have felt comfortable sending my child there initially. There's a few issues I'd like to address though. First, this facility is not very secure. On our first day, I was given the front door code by a counselor who told us she is not assigned to the facility. The door code is the same for both the front and secondary door. There is often nobody in the front office to even monitor who enters and exits the facility. To me, this is a huge safety concern. They rely solely on the hand written book where you sign in or out. Although they are not out of regulations functioning this way, that doesn't mean it's best practice. There are two other things I was very uncomfortable with that are actually out of regulations. First being, when I picked my son up after his first day he had a noticeable bruise on his forehead. This was not there when I dropped him off and I was not given any information as to how it happened. His last day, he went from 9:30am-2:50pm without a diaper change logged on the app. The teachers stated they were too busy to log it, but it did happen. It was quickly logged on the app after our questionThis leads me to my next point, I believe that the teacher has far too many children at once. Again, even if it's within regulations it's not best practice. At one point I counted 9 ten year olds and one adult. The regulation states 12:1, but again is that best practice? I want to reiterate I don't believe the teacher is at fault I think she is doing her absolute best with the situation at hand. I hope that this helps any parent looking for a new facility. I still haven't found one in the area I'm comfortable with, but I have unfortunately crossed this one off my list. read more

Amazing experience on both ends as a parent and for my son. He walks in and hugs the entire staff and when I pick him up he always makes sure to say goodbye! Very grateful for the Staff being so understanding of my very demanding Schedule weather I'm very early or arriving a few minutes late. Horrible customer service and 1st impression says it all. The lady who answered the phone was rude and definitely would not be sending my child somewhere where the workers are rude. I asked about touring the school and she stated they weren't touring due to Covid. After I mentioned the main line was scheduling tours after hours she stated they didn't have tours until 2 weeks later. When I asked her why she didn't tell me about after hour tours until I told her that the main line was scheduling tours, her response is well you were looking for something immediate and yours aren't until after the date I was looking for. Sounds like BS to me, you are supposed to give me the options and let me decide if I want to wait until a tour opens up or not. Then to top it off she goes most of our parents are doing virtual tours so I don't see the problem. Ummmmm wrong thing to say lady because I am not most parents and I want to see where I am sending my infant to be cared for in person. I took my my son and daughter here. The infant and toddler classes were great. I would see in the window the teachers dancing with my child, or spoiling them with hugs. The Halloween trunk or treat they allowed me to participate, which I love getting involved. I am rating them a two because the three year old class was awful. So take your kid out before two or three. The two year old class stinks, and my son would come home with fungus. In the three year old class they had my son stand outside the bathroom with his pants and underwear down where students and adults walk by frequently. I believe this made potty training an embarrassing experience for him. Additionally they sent him home with feces on the outside of his pants. When I complained the first time they said it was my word against the teacher. The second time I took him him directly to the assistant director. The assistant director apologized and changed him. I still don't know whose poop it was, because my son's pull up was clean and the poop was smeared on the outside of his pants. My school would scream and cry going there every day. I have him in a different school now and he loves to go to school now. With that said, I think the infant and 1 year old classes are more attentive. Take your kid out for 2 & 3. read more

This review is long overdue! I have been bringing my kids here for almost two years and I cannot and will not consider another place for my kids to go. First off, as a mother it's hard to let others care for my kids but it really does take a village. And every staff member at this location has become my village! They are completely engaged, and involved with each child here. I hear and see all the crap in the news and social media about different places which would scare any parent but I have the most confidence in the staff at Heritage Kindercare only to know my kids are taken care of in my absence. You can tell they have parental instincts, which is important. You can tell they care. You can tell Ms. Milli runs this place like it's her home and everyone is family. My daughters absolutely love their teachers and I just love starting my day after coming by because all the kids are so darn adorable and fun. Yes, I'm the dancing mom that all the kids laugh at for being silly. What I really appreciate is, even the teachers in other classes know all the kids and parents. I can not express how much I love this center. They are not just caretakers for my son, They are family. I love how they care for my son, like their own. They go over and beyond to make sure my son gets the best care he deserves, since I'm a working mom. Both Nikki and Millie are always there to answer any questions I may have or concerns or let you vent about your day. I have recommended to a number of friends and family, cause I trust them with my son. KinderCare is the best, the staff there is so nice and friendly, there all great with the kids, I had to sign my niece up for emergency daycare and after one daycare couldn't take her I gave them a call and they swoop in and made it happen. I was looking for a preschool for my son so i called with a few questions . They told me the person to answer my questions was busy and would call back after their meeting. So a week later i finally called again to see if she was available and whoever i spoke with was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Millie is awful! As the director, you'd assume she would be friendly and want to give a good impression. No. When I was shopping around for a new childcare center for my two kids because another local Kindercare closed, I went to this center to check it out. I was concerned about having my 2 kids in spaces next to each other that were not classrooms separated by a wall (open floor plan). After finding a center for my youngest I went back to them for my son who only needed after-school care. She was rude and told me they couldn't take my son because I had already said I didn't like it there. I proceeded to tell her that was not what I said but she was still rude and dismissive. Honestly, I'm glad she wouldn't listen to me and refused my son because I've continued to hear awful things. I know several teachers that have left as well because of how awful Millie is. read more

Great Center, teachers genuinely LOVE and Care for the kids. My boys have been attending for almost two years now and I have never had a bad report with them. My oldest is school age and gets dropped off and picked up at his school which is very convenient as a parent. He receives HW help along with other activities to keep him busy while after school. The teachers take every precaution to make sure the kids are safe. My youngest is of preschool age and has learned so much in his time at KinderCare, whenever one of them is absent the teachers always ask me for them and tell me they missed them. The staff is awesome, definitely close-knit and caring. As a parent you want to make sure your children are receiving the best care possible and at this center it is exactly what you get along with building their education and making their time there fun! You receive daily communication sheets as well. The summer program rocks! I have nothing but amazing these to say about this Kindercare. Both of my children have attended this Kindercare and everyone of their teachers are patient and loving toward my children and dedicated to their learning. Ms. Debbie the preschool teacher is always creating new fun learning curriculum for the kids. Ms.Flor the TK teacher is wonderful. She teaches a well rounded curriculum with reading, writing, math and even Spanish. My daughter is in kindergarten this year and she is excelling because of how well prepared she was from the TK program here. She already exceeds the benchmark expectation of the class thanks to the incredible staff at Kindercare. This review is for the infant room only. I originally had signed up for a day care in my area for my 12 week old and I just couldn't shake the bad vibes I had about it. So LAST MINUTE (I'm talking like a week before I needed day care) I called here to take a tour. Luckily they had an opening. The minute I walked into the infant room I felt at ease and I knew my son would be okay here. His teachers and the aides were so loving and sweet to him! I really felt okay leaving him knowing he'd be loved on and taken care of well all day. The teachers are accommodating and will do the best they can if you have special requests. Teachers were friendly and positive each time during drop off and pick up, they give a full review of the baby's day. The babies interact with one another, participate in activities, sing songs together, and work on developmental skills during the day. They're not just stuffed in a crib or set aside. The room was kept clean and I never had any issues in our time there. They truly helped a new working mom feel a little better about leaving their precious baby all day. read more

I selected Heritage Kindercare two years ago when I needed child care for my 3 month old. As a new mom, I was very nervous and hesitant to leave him in childcare so I could return to work. Miss Millie and Miss Veronica worked with me every step of the way to ensure that my child had a great transition. My son has been attending for the last two years and has shown so much growth academically and social emotionally in his development. He is very advanced compared to his peers. He is happy and eager to learn when I work with him at home. He even has learned things I've never taught him. There been so many times where I've sat down with his teachers and specifically addressed his academic progress and he's two! I've even had parent teacher conferences for him. I like the fact that's is a nationally accredited school. In addition to providing great opportunities to advance academically Heritage Kindercare also supports him emotionally. The teachers and staff go above and beyond to address any concerns I have. They are receptive to take suggestions and make changes when needed. They are always welcoming, friendly, and warm. I have always felt comfortable addressing the staff and they are more then willing to communicate with parents and give positive feedback. I have also enjoyed the family like atmosphere. They take the time to really get to know each family. There are many fun events for the children such as the Harvest Festival, student dress up days, school pictures, teacher appreciation days, holiday toy drives, door decoration contest and even Mother's/Father's Day gifts for the parents. Some mornings they also provide breakfast/treats to the parents in addition to the Keurig machine. I have truly enjoyed my experience here and can't thank the staff enough for all they do and have done for my family. My daughter has been going to this school for about 2 years now. When she first came in she was very shy and didn't talk much in class. Since she entered Preschool B class with Miss Debbie & Miss Bethany she began to talk more in class and has a lot more friends than before. I signed my son up for daycare in this facility. I thought it would be convenient because it is right next to his school. My son was 4 at that time and suffers from Autism, It is not severe but he still has affected him. That was the first thing I mentioned to the supervisor Millie or whatever her name is. She said it would be fine and that they were able to take care of him since other kids with autism are in this facility. I signed my son up for this facility part time; it is $165 for part time. He was on summer vacation and went on to summer school so he was there half a day. There were no problems, they would make my son go to take a nap as soon as he came from school and then he would get picked up. As soon as summer was over and he had to be there full time is when the real problem started. All I kept hearing from these women in here was that my son was not following directions and that he kept running around all over the place. The complaint that I got the most is that he does not listen. I got a few notes about this until I got fed up. I went to speak to the supervisor and reminded her that my son has a disability and that part of the disability is that he may not give you the full attention other kids have. Patience is required with my son and supervision so he understands. The supervisor was defensive as soon as I called in asking to speak with her. She started saying that my son is too much work and that he can't be running around the place. I then reminded her that is the reason her facility is getting paid to watch over my son. I said to her that she said it was fine for him to be there although he had a disability and that it wouldn't be as easy as the other kids that are not disabled. But of course she said that because she wanted more kids to be signed up and money. But when it really came down to her expressing herself it she was defensive, and rude. She even hung up on me in the middle of this conversation I was having with her. When I called her back I told her that she is not to hang up on anyone defending their child. I reminded her that she is the one providing service and she is doing a poor job doing it. I demanded for the district manager and she stated that there is no one above her. So I asked her if she owns every Kindercare in the country. That is when she backed off and gave me the district manager. The district manager was great and I really felt her genuine. But I just could not go back to this place. No matter how much she apologized and promised things were going to be different I just could not got back. I asked for a refund and never brought my son here again! Then I said to myself, if the supervisor Millie whatever her name is spoke to me that way, how is she treating my kid when I'm not there?
