I don't often leave reviews but in this case I must! A friend recommended Dr. Salim to me and I was initially skeptical because it was on the other side of town from where I live, but it ended up being totally worth the drive. The assistants and Dr. Salim were sooooo kind, understanding and accommodating as I am typically very uncomfortable with dentist/Orthadontist which has caused me to avoid it for years (which is why I now need so much work). Also her hands are much smaller than my previous Dr's which made her working in my mouth much more tolerable than in the past. My family and I will never go anywhere else. If I could give zero stars I would I went in to get my tooth pulled everything seemed fine but a few hours after the appointment I had to be rushed to the hospital because I ended up getting a high fever and my head was feeling like it was going to explode I ended up finding out that I had got strep that day and I'm 100% sure it was from someone eather not changing gloves or dirty tools but something made me very sick and I'm still sick as we speak I'm now having to take antibiotics because someone didn't do there job right I will not be returning and I will also be contacting my insurance to get a refund for this bad service read more

kinda annoyed this 2nd time being here and each visit takes like 3 hours first visit just exam this visit a filing on front tooth and apparently here it take them 2 1/2 hours to do the front teeth mind you I've have a filing done on my front teeth and it did not take this long as it is for my 18 year old daughter just curious as to why in the world it takes them so long back there read more

This place is so bad, I'm shocked they are still in business. You'll get better care at a dentist in a 3rd world country. I got a crown and root canal that had to be fixed after 2 weeks / no trauma, just regular food/drink consumption lol. Obviously went to soneone else to have it fixed. Place will try everything to make sure you pay as much as possible, even if it means malpractice. Took almost a year for me to get a refund for something I shouldn't have been charged with in the first place. This place is disgusting and I'm shocked I didn't get an infection while here. Or even the wrong procedure because they have no idea which patient is which. The dirty floors and rusty Husky toolboxes (that look straight out of my dad's old auto shop) to store your sterile medical equipment is a nice touch. Go somewhere else read more

i had two teeth extracted this week and it was a good experience at first i thought perhaps they had pulled the wrong tooth but i was wrong.. it was right i went in today to have it checked and they saw me for free.. i really appreciate the service .. Had to wait 45 min before i asked if someone has time to see my daugter if not to reschedule, the dentist was busy with another patient, so shes rushing trying to take care of my daughter, she has a spacer that need to be rwmoved, the dentist asked: mom what do you want to do..... I'm here so you can tell me what to do, you are the dentist, then she suggested to rwmoved without anesthesia, my daughter scream of pain, then dentist insist and tried again. But my daughter was in pain, like she was totally rushing to get back to the other patient. I just left and not planing of going back. read more

Amazing service!!!! Another dentist elsewhere damaged my tooth I came here to get it fixed. Boy I'm really happy that I came here ! Wish I did from the start. I got X-rays I had to have a broken tooth removed and a couple crowns. Dr.Mehanna noticed that there was a couple of roots that needed to come out also from previous dental work , she removed them no extra change??? Wow Mo pain either it's like she took it out with magic. No pain next day either . They take impressions for my crown . I made a appointment to get my crown permanent installed and the Dr said wait I don't like how they fit in there something was off . She said we're going to do another one. She thought I was going to be disappointed but actually no I'm not . I want them to be perfect. My first dental experience elsewhere was horrible left me with a lisp and said hopefully it goes away??? (Not) here's the kind gentle Dr strives for perfection!! I couldn't believe it wow . Finally my second crown came back they called me and asked if I would like to have it installed earlier then my appointment. Yes please. I couldn't wait to get in the Dr test to see how it fits and said wow they're perfect in shape but did I like the color? Because if I didn't she would send it back again ! She strives for perfection . I couldn't see anything different I said glue them down. Really glad I came here . I'm going to bring my hole Family here I really trust her opinion. She will try to save the tooth not just rip it out. I'm actually going to see if she can fix what the other guys messed up. We had a pretty bad Ortho experience here starting in 2018. Rude and unprofessional office staff, Ortho doc is only available once a week so it's hard to schedule if an emergency comes up. High turnover of doctors and support staff. read more

I just left Hermosa dental where my minor daughter had 3 teeth extracted. Dr.Foster (ortho Dentist) referred us to the general dentist to get the extractions. The dentist in back and the dental assistant Ashly began to bad mouth Dr. Foster and his team for replacing my daughter's bands and wires before the extraction. I thought this was very unprofessional and only made my daughter more nervous. The dentist was kind and did a good job. However Ashly did not use any rinse or suction during the procedure. Afterward she only put 2 pieces of gauze in my daugters mouth. I asked her for something to clean the blood off of my daughter's cheek and chin. Just another thing that Ashley neglected to do. When we were leaving I asked Ashly for some gauze to take home she said NO!! She said that my daughter was barely bleeding. I live less than 5 minutes away and by the time I got home her mouth and the gauze were full of blood. As I was searching for some gauze in the medicine cabinet, my daughter vomited nothing but blood. Probably because she swallowed so much blood while having 3 teeth pulled. I am extremely disappointed with the way this all worked out. I am going to call and speak to the manager of this office and file a complaint with the ADA and THE BBB! I don't want anyone else to have to go thru this. My family and I have been coming to this office for over a year and prior to today have always been treated respectfully and professionally. Dr Visser & Dr Cole are no longer working at this office, also a lot of the old staff have left. Not as great as it used to be. I still go but only because my girls had their braces put on here and the visits are less often. Still great payment plans..can't complain there. read more

I used to be a patient. I loved going to see them and even took my kids. The doctor was great and very friendly. The service was outstanding until the got new management. They totally changed. They were no longer friendly or compassionate. They made me feel that they looked down at me. Front desk personal were rude and uncaring. I finally had enough and decided to leave them to go to another practice. This troubled me because I really liked going to see this doctor. It is sad when a company grows to big to appreciate it's loyal customers. read more

I went for my first visit to Hermosa Dental and I loved it. And who likes going to the dentist? The staff was polite and professional. The doctor was unbelievably kind and even took extra time to explain my x-rays. I never felt rushed and I was even late for my appointment. The location is out my way but well worth the extra drive for me. Its hard to find a dentist that makes you feel at home and comfortable. I found that here at this place. It was my birthday in a couple of days and they gave me a balloon and cupcake to celebrate, what amazing customer service. I have never had any health care practice treat me with such care.
