After evaluating options to save the tree, it was determined it was too far gone. They cut down our enormous tree in two days with no damage to our house. They let me keep whatever I wanted - we kept the huge trunk to make a table, plus smaller branches for seating, and even smaller ones for crafts. There was an entire section that was hollow, proving it was in danger of falling on our house. Everyone was courteous, and the price was more than fair. It was significantly less than I expected to pay (even Henry said they should have charged more). They recommended not grinding the stump (which would mean paying more) to save the foundation of the house. Henry also recommended a plan to save another tree before it was too far gone.
