I gave this company a call after they appeared in my Google search results with good reviews. They responded promptly over the weekend, made a plan to come out Tuesday and then pushed the timing up when I indicated sooner was better if possible. They then came out, did an inspection, and 1) told us that what we originally thought we needed was a waste of money and "they wouldn't try to sell us anything unnecessary" and 2) ended up referring us out to another company who specialized in the kind of work we actually needed. I'm blown away by this level of professionalism, honesty and care. If we do end up needing the services they offer in the future, they'll be my first choice.

The crew showed up late in the morning and took frequent breaks before leaving each day at around 2:30. After a month of this clown show, our insurance adjuster advised having them leave. I refused to let their reconstruction team into our home for the second part of the restoration. I guess they don't need the business. One last thing. We contacted another general contractor to supervise the reconstruction. Commonwealth Restoration was brought back in to clean up one last time. Our water was shut off and their folks defecated in an upstairs toilet and covered things with paper towel. I suppose that's their professional way to send a message. Our insurance company and general contractor have been notified that this disreputable company should be avoided at all costs. I wish that I could award them a zero star rating.
