As far as going to this American Legion in Linglestown, I would highly recommend not going. This was my experience. Arrived around 3 pm, waited at the service bar for at least 10 minutes without an acknowledgement that the bartender-we had eye contact- would be over. Finally after showing my American Legion card and my friend's driver's license we were served. Bartender was not a pleasant person. We did not feel welcome at all. I have been to this American Legion before as I visit my family in the area. Every visit has been a bad experience. Take my advice and go to the American Legion in Hummelstown or Hershey. There are some nice people there.

The lanes themselves are clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful in setting them up how you need. We used bumpers and got a ramp to make it easier to push the balls down the lane for kids. I haven't been to a bowling lane in YEARS, so it was cool to see a digital experience that featured headshots worked into the between frame animations. This was a big hit with the kids! The arcade is great for kids as well. There are plenty of small ticket options, enough that we could get a few small trinkets with only $20 spent on games. During the week, we found a few machines at a discount, so they only took one or two credits to play. I was very pleased with the experience overall, and would gladly stop back here if I needed to kill a few hours with some younger children.

It doesn't necessarily look like that as you drive up. The only downfall is that there is only one restroom. The pricing seemed decent. I was super pleased that they had a small selection of mocktails. Their strawberry lemonade spritz wasn't too sweet or too tart! It was just right. My friends seemed to enjoy all the wine choices! Additionally, the crab pretzel was amazing!! The charcuterie boards looked worth it. Plenty of seating and a live band was set up around 6/630, but we left just as they were coming in. This is a small business running this arcade and it was a great experience. The age range of us are young adults around 18 and older. And the arcade games were fun for us as adults, so you can imagine your child would love it too. Please keep in mind we did not try the following: food, baseball cage, or mini golf area. The games are like a snippet in the past. There are SpongeBob related games which feels like the 90's in the arcade. A lot of the games are ball-based or involve hitting your target. This is a refreshing difference of modern games which are very screen-based. The staff were amazingly friendly! They did a great job with working with us and many parents and kids coming in and out. There were a few ticket machine problems but the situations were rectified quickly. Also the staff gave tips and tricks for which games were most fun to play. Thanks so much to our 2 staffers tonight. I wasn't able to get their names but they were a man and woman with beanies on. You were great! Cantones spaghetti sauce recipe. The food sucks...we ordered our normal spaghetti which was bar far no where near the old recipe. We also ordered a chz,steak sub. Which was sent with no cheese. Barely any steak. All in all...I went there because they served authentic Italian spaghetti sauce. Back to sorry olive garden I go. Cause that sauce came from a jar this visit. .qhen I complained and asked for a,number to contact owner...was,told it's under new mgmt.and recipes,are not same...no number given.
