We rented out the cabin with a loft. It was doable. Obviously, we are camping, so don't expect a pristine cabin. But it was fairly clean. I would only suggest that they include a vacuum cleaner so we can vacuum the upstairs loft one more time. They say not to put the A.C below 72. We went in a very muggy, hot time in PA. So we kept the windows closed to keep temperature down. Wifi is not included. You have to pay for it. Service with tmobile is spotty. T.v also only has local channels. Perhaps bring your firestick. Hey look, at the end of the day, we were either at Hershey Park, or at the pool at the campground, so it didn't really matter. Don't forget to bring fishing pole too. Lots of big fish in the lake there The cabin came with firepit, which also served as a grill. I suggest taking a ride to lancaster market, or visiting any of the produce/meat farms with a sign and using that grill. Corn and vegetables and meat were phenomenal. You are in farmers country. For breakfast? Easy. Check out a local breakfast place called the filling Station. My review sticks on that place from two years ago. To the owners, a few things that stuck out for us that may make the experience better for others: 1) a little more activities for the kid. I know.COVID really.screwed things up, but you did a slip and slide last time and it was great. Maybe have a pool game for the kids too. 2) restrooms seem to need updating. Light is dim. 3) maybe have a campground BBQ on weekends. 4) maybe not enough rentals, but bike rentals could be great. Can't wait to go back.

My family and I recently visited Hershey while we were visiting our cousins in Pennsylvania. My wife and I had both separately visited Hershey when we were children, but this was the first visit for our own children. We thought that a ride on the trolley tour sounded like a good way to start the day and see all of the various Hershey Chocolate-related sites around town. Tickets can be purchased right inside Hershey's Chocolate World. The employee behind the counter informed me that the Historical Trolley Tour is about 70 minutes, but that the Summer Family Trolley Tour lasts 45 minutes and is more family-oriented. We decided to opt for the latter and we were glad that we did. Some of the sites we saw from the confines of the trolley bus included the original historic Hershey Factory (converted to corporate offices in 2015), Milton Hershey's birthplace, Highpoint Mansion (historic home of Milton and Catherine Hershey), Hersheypark, and the iconic Hershey Kiss-shaped streetlights on Chocolate Avenue. (separate review.) that has a lot of different activities, as well as lots of shopping. All except for one of the activities costs, so I decided to just do the trolley tour. The price of the trolley tour is reasonable. It's the same price for all ages, but they do offer military/veteran discounts. The trolley tour was lots of fun. It takes you throughout the town of Hershey, they tell you about the story of Milton Hershey, and you get to see different spots that are part of the Milton Hershey Legacy. It takes you past the Hershey mansion, which he built in 1906, for only roughly $50,000, not including landscaping or furnishings. Imagine that in today's money... It's a pretty little town, and there is just so much to see. The narration can get a little "hokey", but I'm not complaining, as it's "hokey" in a fun way. Plus, there's free chocolate! Mr. Hershey was a philanthropist, who believed in giving back to his community. He founded the Milton Hershey school, which continues to this day. It's for children 4 through 15, from low income families, and it is all free of charge. Since it was a lovely day, the girls and I dined outside and spent most of the day on the grounds, since the spa tends to be busy on weekends, especially Saturday. Our pedicures were relaxing, but be reminded that if you have gel polish on, there is a $17 upcharge to remove it; otherwise, it was a wonderful replacement experience. A big minus was the shower/ although the water pressure was fine there was no way to have a stream that actually hit your body without it hitting the back of the shower and onto the floor in the bathroom. Made for spartan and less than stellar showers. Other than that the rooms were quiet enough and the restaurants were very good. Be careful though- signs are crazy non existent when you need them. You'll come up to an intersection and be left with a 50/50 guess which way to go. The elevator and the pool are probably only 100' apart but you need to go to the second floor and then forever and back to get to the water park. On the plus side, the restaurants had great food and the bartenders were friendly and hospitable. We were shocked how reasonable the prices were compared to home and served to remind us how much things ought to cost. Because it's part of the Hersheypark world, there is a shuttle that starts at 8am and goes through 9pm each day. Free of charge, it is a great savings over the daily parking fee you'd otherwise incur at the park. Staying at the lodge you'll get an early admission to the park as well- getting those roller coasters out of the way that normally get a big line. Super plus. Yes, for sure we'd come back or try one of the other affiliated hotels in the area.

The staff all seemed friendly and security had a presence. The light breakdast and lunch buffets were quite tasty, and there was plenty of coffee and other beverages available. I thought it nice that each table had a small assortment of Hershey chocolates. My meeting was only one day, thus overnight accommodations were unnecessary, however my recollection is that the prices are rather steep. I bought the camper as is and was aware of the water damage and some other minor things that needed repairs. Upon getting the camper home I noticed the black holding tank was full of sewage. We reached out to Rv Value mart and haven't gotten a response. I purchased a tool to help flush it out and after a few hours it is functional now. I don't want to make a huge deal out of this but it's not a good business practice to sell someone a full sewer tank. Buyers beware! If you're buying a new product you would not have to worry about something like this.
