The campground had great reviews on Google, not so great on Yelp but I was willing to give them a chance due to their location. The price per night was also very reasonable. I was surprised they had openings when I booked only a few days before arrival. The campground is easy to find, however once inside the roads are a mess. They really push the 5 mile an hour speed limit - which I get - but their signage and warnings are a bit overkill. My site was on a corner so it was bigger than most but still very tight. We parked two vehicles with one sticking out on the roadway a tad. I was really taken aback by the lack of square footage of our site. It was probably the smallest we've been to. The pool and playground were new and nicely maintained. There were activities for the kids. A free root beer float social at the pool was an unexpected perk. Bingo was fun and the cash prizes were great. The pond had a deck overlooking it and paddleboats etc that you could use. I would have liked to swing on the porch swing overlooking the pond but someone had their dog on it for hours! They had policies on where dogs could and could not be which I appreciated as I'm not a dog lover, but it wasn't enforced. Someone had their mutt at bingo. The office/store was well supplied and had a nice sitting area with a large fireplace. The wrap around porch was warm and welcoming. I enjoyed speaking with the store clerk who was also a seasonal. Bingo and my conversation with her was the highlight of my stay. Things I didn't care for, aside from the dog hogging up the swing was the site size as mentioned previously, the very, very bumpy roads, and the lack of upkeep on some of the seasonal sites. It also felt that the seasonals ran the ship and sometimes gave off an unwelcoming vibe. I'd give them another shot, if I was traveling with kids but not as a couple or on my own due to the lack of social interaction.

Licated on the same site as Dutch Wonderland (a quaint amusement park) and the Cartoon Network hotel. It's a short and scenic drive to Bird in Hand or Intercourse, to shop and watch horse-drawn buggies go by. If you are looking for a great family spot, i don't see how you could do better than Old Mill Stream.
