Excellent location. Superb customer service. I am so glad to have an independent (non-chain) pharmacy where they know your name!

Beginning in 1910, Hershey began to give tours of its chocolate factory to the public. Visitors walked through real production areas to see processes like bar molding, wrapping, and the depositing of Hershey Kiss chocolates. By the early 1970s, the public tours had become too crowded for the active manufacturing plant. Located next to Hersheypark, Hershey opened Chocolate World as an alternate visitor center for the public to learn about the manufacturing process as well as purchase chocolate products in the large retail shop. My family and I recently visited Hershey while we were visiting our cousins in Pennsylvania. My wife and I had both separately visited Hershey when we were children, but this was the first visit for our own children. After taking a tour around town with Hershey Trolley Works, we headed inside Chocolate World. We went straight for the Hershey Chocolate Tour, where the line moved very quickly. It's not a real tour of the Hershey Factory, but rather a simulated one that is family-friendly. Similar to an attraction at Disney World, visitors sit in omnimover-style cars that move continuously along a track through the simulated factory journey. Our sons loved seeing the anthropomorphic chocolate characters who teach visitors about the chocolate-making process. Afterwards, we headed to the retail shop area to grab some delicious chocolate treats to take with us on the road. And don't worry... there were plenty of free samples too! For any families looking to visit Hershey, we highly recommend making a delicious stop at Hershey's Chocolate World!

The facilities are well-maintained, the staff are friendly, and there's plenty to see and do whether it's your first visit or your tenth. A few highlights from my visit: If you're only visiting Chocolate World, you receive two hours of free parking, which is a nice perk. Clean facilities, including well-maintained restrooms. A large gift shop with just about every Hershey product you can imagine. The free Chocolate Tour is a must-do and a great introduction to how Hershey chocolate is made. The tour ends with a free sweet treat, which is always a nice bonus. Plenty of activities for families, chocolate lovers, and first-time visitors. There are also several paid add-on experiences available, including: The Hershey Trolley Works tour Create Your Own Candy Bar Hershey's Unwrapped live chocolate tasting show Of these, I highly recomme nd the Trolley Tour. The staff dressed in old-time attire really bring the experience to life, and their energy, storytelling, and interaction with guests make it a memorable part of the visit. It's a fun way to learn about Hershey's history while being entertained along the way. One thing to note is that the store can become quite crowded during the summer months, so be prepared for larger crowds if you're visiting during peak season. Overall, Hershey's Chocolate World is a fun, family-friendly attraction that offers a mix of free and paid experiences. Whether you're stopping in for the Chocolate Tour, shopping for treats, or taking the trolley ride, it's a classic Hershey experience that's well worth a visit.

No, "Good morning" or "Welcome to Stauffers. Please let me know if I can help you find anything in particular." No warm welcome or acknowledgement of any kind was presented to me - the only customer in the entire store at the time. I approached and engaged her before she would speak. I greeted her and asked if she could assist me with checking in on the app. She said, "No, not until you buy something." Woah! Disrespect is a 1000% no-no with me. I let her know that I shop at other Stauffers locations frequently and have never received that response. Unbeknownst to this individual, it was another clerk from a different Stauffers who told me to always check in via the app upon arriving as many people forget to use the check-in app after they complete their shopping. So going off of what I was previously told by another Stauffers clerk at a different location, I told this clerk that I decline to shop in a store that makes me feel unwelcome and unappreciated. She doubled down that this is their policy and I left the store. Her need to exhibit lackluster, dismissive and racist energy toward me lost Stauffers my business. Had I been white, I do not believe this woman would have treated me in such a manner. Had I been white, I would have had an enjoyable interaction with caring staff and would have completed my shopping plans. Thanks to this brief, but awful experience with the clerk at the 1075 Middletown Rd, Hummelstown, PA location, I am taking my presence, my business and my dollars elsewhere. They have a great selection of scents. The employees are obviously also big fans of Yankee and besides being very friendly/helpful, they know their Yankee facts. My visit was yesterday, Saturday 4/22. They were running a special on large candles 4 for $44. Great price. Also the outlet mall had a free $10 gift card for downloading the Tanger Outlet app, so I got 4 large candles for about $34.00 using that $10 gift card. Excellent price given that full retail price for one of these candles is $28.00. I am picky about my labels (as most fandles are) and the lady that I worked with went over all of the different label types and what each one meant. I try to avoid the outlet only candles. Sorry not sorry for that. So after surveying the labeling this outlet store had a lot of candles that were the same as what is found in the retail stores AND a lot of candles that are Europe only exclusives. Very nice selection to choose from. So I ended up getting Rainbow's End, Red Raspberry, Sicilian Lemon, and Vanilla Bourbon. I am now wishing that I would have gone balls deep and gotten 8 candles because I left behind Autumn Leaves, Cassis, Egyptian Musk, and Sea Salt & Sage. That is all on me though, and now I have remorse for not buying more. So overall a great great experience. Very helpful and friendly staff that were not too pushy and very knowledge filled on their product. Gave me all the info that I needed about what labels meant what type of candle origin - as in which ones I couldn't walk into a mall store and purchase them because they are usually Europe only exclusives. My candles were beautifully wrapped and bagged. Couldn't ask for a better shopping experience. Wish that I had the name of the lady that worked with me because she deserves a feather in her hat for excellent service.
