Stopped in on a whim to find a classic old school divey jersey sub shop. The grilled closes an hour before the close the shop so we got a full size sub that was enough for two. #30 Loaded with freshly sliced Turkey, salami and American cheese. I got light mayo so I can image what regular looks like. Tons of drinks and chips to go with you selection. Staff was talking amongst themselves when we arrived didn't care to stop. Not a deal breaker, food was still good. You'll find plenty of seating in this whole in the wall in case you didn't want to take out.

Picked up some subs for lunch. Parking on the street or at the train station across the street. Meat is fresh and tastes good. Bread is typical deli bread chewy and tough.

My update to five stars is long overdue, as I've eaten hundreds of subs from Hershey's since they opened in 1968. When a food shop is famous for one item, and they've been making it the same way for half a century, you know they've perfected it. #17 ($12) is provelone, boiled ham, pepperoni, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, olive oil & red wine vinegar, and a touch of dried oregano on an Italian loaf. They make this to order in about 60 sec. This is real fast food. This Westfield staple has a history, and the grunge to prove it. The owner, who worked here as a high school kid, has certainly been in it for the long haul. He's now providing part time jobs for the next generation, as well as doing a lot of philanthropic work for the community.

Simply the best deli in town. The food is as great as the people are nice. From sub in a tub salad options to great sandwiches this is always a great option.

One star, only for the small town atmosphere. Zero stars for the food. Eat here as a kid and had fond memories, returned multiple times when in Westfield for work and had the opposite experience. Deli sandwiches are average, the meat did not taste great and the bread was lackluster. Returned for another try and ordered a simple grilled cheese. I guess the effort is not in this deli anymore as the 1/4 pound cheese sandwich with toast was a pitiful excuse for even a grilled cheese. Go elsewhere, tradition does not equal quality.

#3 that was supposed to come with condiments on it but came plain.

Ehh, had a Turkey sandwich. The "Rye" bread was very white bread ish. Nothing special. The taste was bland.

Over priced, barely any meat on sandwich, paid almost 20 bucks for a sandwich with more cheese than meat.

Hershey's has the best subs around. It's a no frills deli that you can always count on.

Best subs! I always come when I'm in town. Sloppy Joe's and cheesesteaks and Italian subs are all my absolute favorite.

This is a super cute little bakery and coffee shop in Downtown Westfield. There is street parking…read moreand a few parking lots in the area so we just parked at one, wanted about, and also made a stop here. As a nod to the name (Kirshenbaum is German for cherry tree), there are little cherries everywhere inside from signs to wallpaper. Ample seats, natural light, friendly staff, plus delectable treats make this place a good one to stop at. They also serve light bites but as we were sort of hopping from one place to another on a Sunday, I only ordered a few sweet treats. BLACK FOREST: my daughter picked this, likely because she thought it was a chocolate cake. But it was not your average chocolate cake. A good sized slice with moist cake, cherries, and dark chocolate bits throughout, I highly enjoyed this one. It's perfectly sweet - though I admit my daughter finished the exterior layer of frosting so the thin layered in between the cake were ideal for my taste buds. It was a bit too elevated for my daughter who only really wanted your regular chocolate cake. MATCHA CRUFFIN: This is a croissant-muffin filled with matcha cream, rolled in sugar. The laminated dough was packed so not like your airy-but-crispy-exterior croissant, nor was it noticeable buttery, but it did do its job by keeping its shape and the layers helped give its name. It was lovely to pull apart, with a nice, chewy texture. The filling wasn't exactly in the center (I shared this with my husband) so I dipped a little into the filling (borderline reminded me of pastry cream) that my husband got. It's light but also has a very nice matcha flavor that comes through. RASPBERRY LYCHEE PIE: I love pie and I was happy to find a uniquely flavored one here especially since it reminded me of my favorite ice cream flavor in Europe at Haagen Dazs years back (rose raspberry lychee) so I pounced on it. First off, this is definitely a mousse pie. We're vegetarian so a part of me wonders if gelatin was used to make this so I likely won't get this a second time without me asking the necessary questions - but it is good. As with most mousse confections, this is light and delicate in a way. Airy. Still substantial that I didn't feel cheated out of my money but not too filling. Nothing overpowered each other and the flavors and textures worked together beautifully. There were chunks of raspberries but I don't recall actual bits of lychee fruit in there, though you do get the flavor of it in there. I absolutely love the interesting flavors here and the items I got. I especially am a fan of how everything is perfectly sweet. I have a sweet tooth, but only for things that aren't too sweet and this is completely up my alley. They do have gluten free options but nothing extensive. And I'm pretty sure they include eggs. I have a kid with multiple food allergies and he couldn't have anything here so I got him a bottle of apple juice and he was content with it. I'll definitely stop by again to try more items and get a drink to go with. Maybe get my daughter a cookie since I hear they're pretty good.

Usually this location has great baked goods, and mediocre prepared hot food. Today i found some…read moregrey specs on my croissant which seem to be consistent with mold from humidity or from some other source of contamination.
