The wait times are absolutely horrible! My father waited an hour to be seen for his first appointment. We opted to hear his blood test results over the phone. The doctor was supposed to call at 1:30. After repeated calls, the doctor finally called back at 2:45. I foolishly decided to take my mother here as well. We waited an hour and a half before being called in. We saw countless people enter after us but go in before us. As my mother is an incomplete quadriplegic, she always has a nurse with her. The morning nurse's shift ends at 12, meaning we had to leave the office no later than 11:30. I explained this when making the appointment, when we arrived and to the nurse when we finally entered the exam room. They kept saying we would be out in time but they really just ignored us. I knew there was no way a new patient visit with blood being drawn would only take 30 minutes. The nurse became upset when I said all we had time for was the blood work, no vitals, nothing else. None of the paperwork we turned in at the beginning of the visit was read by anyone because the nurse was asking the same exact questions. I was hoping they may have read it during the 1.5 hours we were waiting but no. The doctor didn't seem concerned about the ridiculous wait nor our time restraint and really did not like it when I said his office is very poorly managed. We ended up leaving at 11:20 with only bloodwork being done. These doctors do not respect their patients time. Please go anywhere else. read more

There is no center better than Hershman Medical. I have seen them for several years and will not go anywhere else. My family attends to this medical center since 1998. The Drs are friendly and knowledgeable, and best of all they have time to listen to you. The office staff and nurses are nice and helpful. THEY REMEMBER YOU! The new location is awesome. Clean,spacious, and comfortable. They don't make you wait too long to be seen, and the coffee is real and free! The doctors are great. The front office is great. The back office where authorizations and referrals are made is the worst. My primary doctor told me to see a cardiologist for a medical problem i am having. After seeing the cardiologist he recommended a portable ekg device to monitor and send him reports when i have an issue. He sent in the request for authorization to my primary (2 times) . Its been over 4 weeks.Now they claim they dont have it again so it was sent again. I am changing Primary doctor. Thats how bad its gotten...Today i personally delivered it .Lets see read more

I read the other reviews, and I have to say the experience of me and my husband has been completely different. I live far away from this office, but I continue to go here because these doctors can actually diagnose and solve medical problems. I recently went to an urgent care three times and was sick for two months without getting better, but then I went to see Dr. Lloyd Hershman and he diagnosed me properly and gave me the right medication. I like that they are open Saturdays and that you can go in as an urgent care patient if they don't have any appointments available. My husband has had referrals done by Dr. Kenneth Hershman, and he was just given the referral to take to the doctor of his choice. They also referred him directly for the radiology test he needed to diagnose the back problem, and then they gave him the referral to go to whatever doctor he wanted. We went through Baptist Hospital and he had two minor surgical procedures. I love this medical center. Be prepared for a long wait during the week, even if you have an appointment. read more

Dr. Hershman has been my primary care physician for over 20 years. Today, I had to make an urgent appointment and was seen within 20 minutes. As usual Dr. Hershman gave me a quick diagnosis and put me at ease. His new office is light and airy. There's plenty of parking and although it's farther for me than the previous place, I'll drive wherever I need to go. read more

I had a terrible experience with this Dr. First he raised his voice at me as to try and intimidate me. He was rude to me when I suggested things or if I had an opinion. Why??? People most of the time go to the Dr cause they don't feel well. If you want a Dr that listens to you with out disrespecting you then go elsewhere. Dr. Lloyd Hershman has been my physician for approximately 25 years. His expertise, insight and compassion are the qualities I look for in a physician. Dr. Lloyd is always available to answer any of my questions or concerns and has excellent clinical skills. Dr. Lloyd is always patient with his explanations and I always feel as if he truly cares about all of his patients. Both of the Dr. Hershmans and the ARNP, Mario Landera are exceptional healthcare providers and I have recommended this office to many of my friends. I've been a patient of Dr Hershman since 2015. I am completely disappointed with the entire staff at this facility. I had to get foot surgery in 2016. Through my employer, one of my benefits is the availability of short term disability pay. As protocol, my insurance company needs to receive my medical records for a certain period in time in order to process my claim and be able to pay me for my short term disability. I have never come across such unprofessional and inefficient employees. Having previous experience with billing and coding and medical records, I understand the process for submitting and completing patient documents. All my other doctors submitted the records to the insurance company within a two week period from the time the request was made. I should note, the doctors have a 30 day period to submit medical records to whomever is requesting it. Sharlene, the office manager, has been offering nothing but false information regarding the completion of my medical records. Every time I have called this office, there is an excuse as to why they are not completed and submitted. I've been calling daily and now the staff says she's either unavailable, stepped out, is in a meeting, or they will deliver the message. It has been over the 30 day period from the time of the request and still the records are not submitted. It is very discouraging and disheartening the lack of consideration for their patients. I have gone without pay because of their inefficiency to complete and expedite my request. Ive spoken to everyone in the office regarding this matter and no one can give me a straight answer. I will no longer be a patient at this office because of this unprofessionalism, inefficiency, and overall lack of consideration for their patients and their needs. read more
