If you ever read any review, please follow this one! This place is to be avoided at all cost! I could handle the stinky car, the broken fuel door, what I couldn't abide by is that the car was truly unsafe. The front end had a horrible sound to it that just continued to get worse to the point that I had to return it. I had rented the car for work, so I missed a day of work which of course cost me. It also cost me because I had just put in full tank of gas and it's Hertz policy "Not to refund gasoline". Luckily they did refund my rental, but I remain out of the 34 dollars and a full day of work. I advise you, please avoid renting here, unless you have no other option. read more

I Let my Nephew rent a car from Hertz to drive for Uber I made him Authorized user on my credit card Capitol one first he had to put car in the shop because it wouldn't Accelerate it was on a Thursday they didn't not tell him they still was going to charge him and don't have the car and he didn't ask and then when he got the back he had an accident he didn't have use of the car for 3 weeks I don't know if he paid attention to the rental agreement so they charge my card 1446.93 dollars for 3 weeks which he didn't have use of the car I took him off as a Authorized user I locked my credit card took him off a week before they waited to till July the 4 sent it through for it be accepted I blame Hertz for bad Business Practices I Blame my nephew for Reading the rental agreement And Blame Capitol one when a card is locked and took him off as a Authorized user it's wasn't going go through read more

If I could give a 0 I would. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!!! This location would not answer the phone when I called to set up an appointment. They would not answer the calls from the auto shop either. I was given the wrong phone number twice to call back to confirm my appointment. I was left at the auto shop by this location and ended up having to call enterprise to take care of my rental and pick me up. Worst service ever!!! They don't want your business!! read more

I've been coming here for years because I travel by car several times a month. This place is convenient because it's near my house. It's a typical Hertz Local Edition. They only have a handful of cars at any given time, usually only 1 or 2 employees working, and service can be hit or miss. I am a Gold Club 5 Star member, and while I don't expect huge perks, I do expect my car to be ready on time and clean. Really, the only perks I get from this place, which are few and far between, are getting a car upgrade. Most times, cars don't come with a full tank of gas even though they mark it as a full tank on my receipt. I rarely get a car that is cleaned. In fact, there's been a few times that I've received a car with people's personal items still inside, so I know the employees didn't even open the car door to inspect. Still, I keep coming back here. I have used Hertz for years this rental I picked up smelled of smoke. I called the agency told me had nothing to replace with them asked me if it was cigarette or marijuana smoke. Definitely something was sprayed in vents to cover up smell. No washer fluid either read more

I usually rent from enterprise across the street from this place or Alamo at the airport. I chose to save $50 and tried hertz. It took 40 minutes to get a car- that was reserved ahead of time. It wasn't cleaned until after I checked in. When I got in, there was still the last customers garbage (including their credit card information), there was chewed up bubble gum in the door pocket- and more of the last customers belongings in the trunk. About 45 minutes on the road in the middle of a snow storm the windshield wiper fluid was empty- after one spray. Obviously these cars aren't looked over after and before rentals which leaves me concerned. I probably won't rent here again- unless I get a good deal like I did this time. They get 3 stars (minus one for the wait time, minus one for the garbage and wiper fluid). read more

Slow service, only one employee on a very busy Saturday after 4th of July. We reserved a car 2 weeks ago and when we got here there were no cars available. Very frustrating. How easy this was made my day! Normally when booking a car it takes all day, cost a ton of money, and the service can be rude. In which we left Avis because the lady behind the counter was incredibly rude, had an attitude at any question we asked. We had a trip to Kansas to take for 4 days, enterprise wanted over $280 for a full size vehicle plus a $200+ deposit. Avis wanted $260+. The next day (thursday) I went online and found Hertz pay now feature. I decided to pay and book my vehicle for over a $100 less than Enterprise. I was told my car would be ready Friday at 8:30AM, I got there a few minutes early and the lady who assisted us was so friendly. We literally sat for 5minutes while paperwork printed and then went outside to inspect the vehicle. The vehicle was ready but as it was started she noticed the Tire pressure light came on the dash and she didn't want to just fill it (as I've had other companies do) but she put us in another vehicle even nicer than what we had! We were there less than 15 minutes and went on our way to Kansas. The car was clean, tank was filled, and helps the car averaged 33mpg on our trip! Brought the car back, turned in the key and left within a few minutes no issues! One of the most "HASSLE FREE" car rentals I've ever experienced and I've rented a ton of vehicles from Budget,Avis,Enterprise and this was my first Hertz experience! Will definitely go back any time I need a rental! If you need a rental definitely go here but be sure to go online and book as you save money! My entire rental for 4 days, in a 4 door 2012 Kia Optima, Unlimited Miles, was $82 with a $100-$150 deposit. (Can't remember exactly) Nowhere have I ever seen a deal like this! read more

I have been to this Hertz location three times in the past month. While the staff are typically courteous and polite, I have had to wait a significantly long time each time (with my shortest wait time just under an hour) for a car to become available, despite having reserved a car online well in advance; one of these times, I ended up waiting two and a half hours for my reserved car to become available on a day when I urgently needed to leave town for a family emergency. While the staff did call me at my scheduled pick-up time to alert me that the car was "on its way" from the airport, the car continued to be "on its way" when I called to check an hour and then two hours later. Eventually, I asked to transfer my reservation to another Hertz location, where I was promptly accommodated. This delay caused me to be significantly late, although I deliberately scheduled my reservation for an early pick-up. While I am pleased with Hertz rentals generally, my recommendation is to avoid this specific location. It is worth the drive to avoid long waits, long lines, and lack of available cars despite reservations. read more
