Dan Barnhart organized a rapid pickup at the repair shop and got me on my way in a very nice Honda SUV in record time so that I could get across MacDonald Pass before nightfall. Well, after a full day of traveling I arrive to the airport only to see a dark National counter with a sign saying they are out of cars and to try Avis. Scenes of the classic Seinfeld episode started to play in my head... "I don't think you understand what a reservation means..." I show up the next morning per the sign, only to have an understandably frustrated counter agent notify me that she wasn't sure why her counterpart left early as there were cars in their inventory. If Keely hadn't been so understand and helpful, I'm sure I would have had a more scathing review. I contacted customer service and was repeatedly andl intentionally disconnected repeatedly even after speaking with multiple managers. We also rented a cooler and it was well worth the rental fee. Food is scarce in Yellowstone so picking up food in Bozeman and then storing it in the cooler was a good move. The cooler kept everything cold for 5 days and I only had to refill the ice once! I definitely recommend using them to rent a car instead of the big rental car brands.
