This being my first time reporting damage to a rental company, I wasn't sure what my experience would be, with having read a number of car rental horror stories online. I'm happy to report that the staff made no attempt whatsoever to exploit the situation and paying the very reasonable cost of replacing the glass was very straightforward. Michael and Joseph were top notch and we couldn't have asked for better customer service.

They said well that gives us time to find you a vehicle. I asked what exactly did that mean. Apparently when the SUV was returned it was "wrecked" and they had nothing other than a mini van! Please, not acceptable. Christian from that location called back 10 minutes later. He said they could not do anything for me and could not even contact another enterprise location to see if there were any other SUV vehicles. Told me I needed to call around on my own to "deal with it myself"! Well if that's how you help your customers thank goodness I didn't rent a vehicle from this location and have any type of issue. I will not use this location again and I will definitely look at other options when renting a vehicle in the future.

He then proceeded to tell us that we bring the tire to a tire shop to get it fixed to which I responded - do you not know what car alignment is? He could have fixed this issue by working with another location to bring me a car; however, I had to drive over an hour in the opposite direction to exchange the vehicle and miss part of coaching my volleyball match. The amount of time and disrespect I have received from Budget's customer service and this location is awful. Do not rent a car from this company or this location unless you want to be degraded and treated poorly for being a woman.

Needed the car from Thursday- Monday for a business trip to New York, therefore; I wanted all of the extra insurance available and an extra driver applied. Spoke with Jason B. (the manager) who quoted me a total cost of $355.32 complete with tax. I reserved the car. When I arrived during my scheduled pick up time, the staff member Sara stated that Jason never put my reservation into the system and my total cost is $450.00 (without the extra driver). She stated that she called Jason and that he would take care of it in the am. I needed the car for a 6:30am time to leave, and I couldn't get another car on such short notice. So, I gave my credit card and took the car. That night, I thought about it and decided to postpone my leave time and first go back to Avis and speak with the Manager Jason, because I still needed the extra driver. When I arrived he stated "who are you?" I told him the issue, and he added the extra driver and stated that when I returned from my trip, he would refund me a day (which estimated approximately $85.00). I said "Thank you" and left for my trip. When I returned the car on Monday, Jason stated that he did not have the ability to refund my day rental, but sent an email to "Brian" who was his boss for the refund adjustment. After multiple calls to Jason (who always had an excuse), to customer service ( who informed me that Sears Auto Center - Park City Mall AVIS is privately owned and that they are NOT able to provide any refunds, but is only able to contact the Store Manager "Jason", but has gotten NO REPLY). I have NOT received my refund to this date (Jan. 2016) NOTE: Also....EZ Pass: The car was equipped with a box for EZ Pass. In the State of Pennsylvania, whether the box is open or NOT you will use their system. You are NOT given the opportunity to pay for tolls yourself. In addition to the $450.00 that I paid for the car rental. I also paid an additional $45.00 in toll fees, which were taken out of my account. This was my experience, Just so you know .....in case your considering renting a car with this company. I will NOT rent from this company again.

But as we were getting ready to return the vehicle I followed up with this location over the series of issues to see if they could be accommodating in any way. And Jayden went above and beyond for us. He kept us from having to drive way further than necessary to return the rental, as well as compensated us for the hassles. Despite the multiple issues, this location managed to set things right and we're beyond appreciative for their 'old school' customer service.
