I had a very frustrating experience with the Enterprise Birmingham South location. I was assured that they had one available, so I went ahead and made my purchase. About 15 minutes later, the location called me back and said they actually did not have a truck. When I explained that I had called specifically to verify availability before making the purchase, the person I spoke with was extremely rude and tried to make it seem like it was my fault. She then put me on hold for about 20 minutes. I hung up and tried calling back, only to be put right back on hold again. I then contacted Enterprise customer service and was told a district manager would call me to help get the situation resolved. Two hours later, I still had not received a call, and the location was about to close. This caused a major inconvenience and could have been avoided if I had been given accurate information or treated with basic customer service once the mistake happened. I understand inventory can change, but I do not understand confirming a truck, having me act on that information, then being rude when Enterprise's information turned out to be wrong.
