Honestly this is the best practice. I have never waited more than 15 min in the waiting room and once in the exam room, maybe another 5-10 at most. They are very thorough and take the time to truly talk to you if you have questions. Dr Rifkin saved the life of my baby and me when I very unexpectedly had a medical incident and had to deliver 12 weeks early. He, Dr Cohen and Jamie checked on me daily in the hospital for a week. I cannot thank enough him and the practice for all care they provided.

We chose her as our ob since she's known as being less interventionalist than others in the area, but she at times was also not willing to consider some options that we wanted to explore. Appointments with her were very short, though if I had questions, she was willing to chat a little more. She let me go to 42 weeks even though I was "geriatric," which, from what I hear from others in the area, is incredibly unusual. We had wanted to explore some labor inducing methods, like stripping the membranes, which we had done with our first child. However, she said she wouldn't do it since it doesn't work. Of course, this is where a doctor's experience comes into play, but it was disappointing since we had had this option with our previous doctor. Actual labor induction was an experience - as it often is - but she certainly stepped in when the timing was right. I felt like I was in good hands even when things got very tough.

This is not my first time here and typically I know what to expect. Today was not typical. Many times I have had to wait up to an hour after my appointed time, so I was prepared with my laptop. I was called within 5 minutes. Nice Dr Tomack is a dedicated physician who looks for the most effective and often holistic options to address an issue. She is very thorough, addressing all issues including overall health, vitamin needs and exercise. I especially like that I can walk to her office. I hope she's there for years to come!

That was 12 years ago and I am still going to him, I even moved back to Queens and travel a 45 minutes to see him. He is so nice, very knowledgeable, and talks in a very calming manner asking about your life, work etc during the examination, so he takes your mind off of it and before you know it you are done! He never rushes me, and explains every option to me no matter what I'm am going through. Im not just a number to him. He knows my name, my family, and that makes me feel good. He has delivered both of my children and has operated on my endometriosis. I have another operation with him next month and I'm completely confident that this will be successful. In addition to Dr Plancher, I have had the wonderful opportunity to meet his new associate Dr. G. I was with her yesterday and she spent 30 minutes with me going over my medical history, asking questions and explaining the surgical procedure that I will be having next month with both Dr. G and Dr. Plancher. She is a smart and caring doctor who truly wants the best outcome possible for her patients. She is extremely compassionate , and undeniably a highly educated doctor. Any patient would be lucky to be seen by either one of these doctors.

His check ups literally take like 10 minutes, tops, and he remembers small details about you (like, I dig tattoos and the mets) to chat about while he's handling business so you're not uncomfortable. They're prompt, helpful, and clean. I found him by chance after my last doctor gave me the heebie jeebies and I literally tell any of my friends that might be looking for a doc to hit this dude up. Haven't had any kids, so I can't comment on that part of what he does, but his 6 month exams are as delightful as any can be when you're pants-less in a sterile chair trying not to throw your cookie out there on display.
