What a great find . This is a very old company from the looks of the building . It's been a while since its seen some renovations . But the ice cream very good real icecream at a great price . While we where there some buses stop looks like a must stop for tour companies . The bissness split in half one half looks like a old dinner the other just take out ice cream . Lots of flavors we even bought some tubes to take home This is a must stop if you like some old fashion Ice cream . They also have great service.

Went here for lunch at around 1:30pm this past Saturday and the place was busy! Thankfully there were a few stools remaining around the corner at the counter. We were quickly greeted by the waitress that was friendly. We ordered the Banquet Burger and Fries. You can actually see them cooking everything up on the grill. Our burgers came within 15 minutes and they were loaded with toppings (see picture). The burger was nice and crispy, just the way I like it! Our fries came shortly thereafter and were super crispy. For dessert I ordered a slice of apple pie with whipped cream. It tasted really good as well with small chunks of apples. Then if that wasn't enough, we had ice cream on the other side of the place. The staff here are super friendly and always happy to answer any questions. I ordered a small moose tracks (vanilla base with chocolate sauce and peanut butter cups) which was quite tasty. This place never seems to disappoint and we will definitely be back for another lunch and ice cream!

The best milkshakes on the planet! This is an old school- original condition diner/dairy bar. They have fresh local dairy available to purchase (ie. goats milk, cheese, sour cream, icecream, yogurt, etc) and a wrap around counter for people to sit at. The menu hasn't changed much in the many years it's been around. It's old fashioned- because some things are perfect just as they are.

I love this place. Lots of nostalgia. Burgers and fries are good and cheap. Ice cream is the best in Ontario.

Casual and cozy breakfast restaurant located off of Ferguson and Rebecca in Hamilton's downtown…read morearea. There's nearby public and street parking. Entry is a single door with a ramp on the inside. Servers were quick to seat my friend and I. Service was polite and timely. We both ordered our own "Teenage Feast" which included Two eggs prepared to your taste, thick cut bacon, sausage, choice of toast, served with dutch mini pancakes, butter parsley home fries / salad or half & half. I opted for scrambled eggs, home fries, and rye (they also had sourdough as an option!) The meal was very filling, could definitely be shared between two peckish people or saved as left overs for later. Meal has a blend of sweet and savoury, leaning more on the sweet side. The sausage is sweeter than others (I enjoy this but I know it's not for everyone. The Dutch pancakes are so cute and little, coated in icing sugar, and served with maple syrup on the side to dip. For drinks I ordered the Maple Foam Cold Brew. Make sure to stir/not put your straw at the bottom of the drink or you'll get a hit of maple! Once it's stirred it tastes great. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu (I'm eyeing the coffee flights)!

4.5 stars. Great…read morevibe, lovely staff and food comes up very quickly. It is predominantly a breakfast spot and even some listings will have it as "Montrose Breakfast". Nonetheless, they do have a few sandwich options and are open at lunchtime as well. I went back to back days. Day one was the smash burger and I got 50/50 with salad and curly fries which is a nice option. The next day I did the Nashville fried chicken sandwich with the same sides. Everything was very fresh and tasted very good. Both sandwiches perhaps were missing a bit of an X factor that would have me telling people it's an absolute must visit. For example, the smashburger probably could've been a bit more savoury (even greasier) to be a true smashburger, and the Nashville chicken spice level was pretty mild. All that said, it was made fresh and very tasty too, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone either. And like I said, I didn't even try the breakfast items which is the main part of the restaurant anyway.
