We had already booked a Hawaii photographer but knew that she had to somehow be a part of our day too so we hired her team for video. BEST decision ever. They are so genuinely sweet and friendly. They hung out with us with all of our family at the hotel the days prior and it was such a blast. As far as the actual video/photos- they do a absolutely phenomenal job and are so good at calming nerves and making the whole process enjoyable. We went in thinking it would be awkward but by the end she hypes you up so hard you feel like a pro almost immediately haha. The actual day of the wedding Joy and Robert were in our corner all day making sure everything was perfect and going above and beyond their duties. Joy- thank you so much for that, truly. Our other vendors and friends kept telling us how great they were too. We are fans for life.

So we were forced to reschedule and we got our new date that worked for us with the venue and the other vendors however the new date didn't work for Joy, so we were generous and said don't worry about refunding the deposit just keep it because we imagine you have had a lot of cancellations/reschedules and she waited to see if our credit card would be charged for the full payment. However after the lack of communication from Joy (not responding for several days) we froze the credit card that way it wouldn't be charged. Then she tried to come back and tell us that we should move our wedding to a date that worked for her or pay her the remaining balance of the her fees. And we politely mentioned to her that at no fault of our own that we were FORCED to reschedule our wedding and the new date was all that would work for all of the vendors and venue. She demanded yet again that we pay the full amount. And the only reason we got her to understand that we were not going to pay the full amount was because we pointed to her contract (that had unfair contract language that would never stand up in court) and she came back and never apologized or sympathized just simply said I cannot force you to pay.. Joy was very unprofessional she tried to be underhanded and take advantage of us as her customer. I would strongly discourage anyone from signing any contract with Joy because she has unfair contract language and puts you at a disadvantage as a customer.

I did a lot of research before selecting a wedding day photographer and David's photography style was everything I was looking for. David was a great communicator and was always quick to respond and answer all of my questions and concerns. On the day of the wedding, David did a fantastic job directing the wedding party on where and how to pose for pictures. The moments he captured are priceless and they turned out amazing. After the wedding, David was extremely patient with me as we worked on the wedding album. David was always ready to move forward but due to my busy work schedule, it was always hard to respond immediately. David sent me multiple reminders (which I truly appreciated) and showed that he cared about the production of my wedding album. If it wasn't for David's patience and persistence, I probably would've never finished my wedding album. My husband and I appreciate all of the hard work that David put into our wedding, before & after. Not only did we gain an amazing go-to photographer but we also gained a friend. Now that we're expecting our first baby, we hope to have David capture more precious moments that life brings. I took my 15 month old here for holiday pictures. Photography studios hardly exist anymore. I had…read morecalled around to several photographers in DFW but none of them had indoor studios so we came here. Picture People is located in Buy Buy Baby. You have to make a $20 deposit to reserve an appointment. The photographer was very nice and took fantastic photos of my baby even though he was cranky at first. Overall we got 15 good shots. It's amazing what they can do with a green screen and a few props. My favorite picture is the one with Santa. That's right, you don't have to take your kid to the cootie filled mall to sit on a stranger's lap to get a picture with Mr. Claus! They can create a picture with a Santa! And I really appreciated that the Santa was black! I don't know the odds of finding a black mall Santa. I assume they also have all the other race Santas covered too, but I was so over the moon excited and didn't ask. Other pictures included a Christmas tree and milk and cookies. The pictures are crisp and clear. I can't wait to come back for more special occasion photos.

I HATE taking pictures, so it was important to me to find a photographer who could guide us on angles, how to pose, etc. Laning Photography went above and beyond what I could have imagined!! First off, Hannah is such a warm and kind soul. She truly listened to me and what I was envisioning and made sure it happened. I could not believe how responsive she was via email, even during the craziest wedding season yet with COVID postponed weddings. She even gave me advice on what to wear for our engagement photo session! And not only that, she gave me the coat off of her back... LITERALLY. We changed outfits for a downtown Dallas shoot, and it was extremely windy. She took off her peacoat and told me to wear it and the pictures looked EPIC! They ended up being our favorite pictures! That's how much she cares. And Nick is such a fun, creative person. He had us laughing the entire time. His creativity and really cool ideas gave our albums the mood and vibe we were looking for.
