We received our wedding photos just a few days ago and I just can't get over how talented these guys are! It's absolutely incredible how they are able to capture emotion. Joe, his wife (Stephanie), and his dad (Mark) are not only beyond talented, but so easy to work with! I can't even tell you how many times at my wedding someone would suggest we pose for a picture and I'd turn around to find Joe...and there he was standing right behind me! Having the paparazzi follow you around for 2 days could be annoying, but you don't even realize Joe is there. At some points I even noticed Joe under the table trying to get the best shot...and his hard work paid off with 800 amazing shots! My only problem now is that I want my wedding album to include all 800 pictures! But I won't waste anymore words because as I said their pictures are worth 1000 words. There are some extremely talented photographers out there, but the one thing that stood out most about Joseph Mark was their ability to accurately capture a moment. We found many other photographers who had really 'cool' looking shots, but didn't quite seem to tell a story, the way Joseph Mark's photos seemed to do. Both my new husband and I HATE having our picture taken, but Sharron was a pleasure to work with and we actually ended up having a great time. Even better, all of the pictures turned out great (again that's saying alot!!), and they have a quick turnaround for getting them edited, cropped, and online for viewing. At the wedding she got 1,000's of shots, not just of us, but of everyone there which we know will be a wonderful memory of the event. I'm not sure how they got so many shots, as I never noticed them in the way or being intrusive. Perfect!! We were beyond thrilled to hire them just from our initial phone convo. They are both so outgoing and so thrilled to be part of your day! We hired Hey Love Studio as a guest photographer at our wedding (we had already hired a wedding photographer). As a guest photographer, Valerie (and a second shooter, since she had to travel for our wedding) was dedicated to capturing guest portraits (couples, families, etc.) and guests mingling. (professional portraits in lieu of crappy photo booth pics with the couple's names and date stamped all over it). She knew the "assignment," let us (the couple) do our thing, and she forking nailed it! We received our gallery about a week and a half later, and it brought us so much joy to look through and see just how beautiful our guests looked! When they say your wedding day flies by, they are not kidding - so we are that much more grateful to have these photos to forever remember how beautiful every single guest looked! Our guests will receive a printed copy (as their "thank you" card) in the mail, along with a QR code to our full gallery so that they can download a digital copy. Bonus: my bridesmaids jumped on this and also hired Valerie to shoot our Rehearsal Dinner as a surprise to us. We had already booked a Hawaii photographer but knew that she had to somehow be a part of our day too so we hired her team for video. BEST decision ever. They are so genuinely sweet and friendly. They hung out with us with all of our family at the hotel the days prior and it was such a blast. As far as the actual video/photos- they do a absolutely phenomenal job and are so good at calming nerves and making the whole process enjoyable. We went in thinking it would be awkward but by the end she hypes you up so hard you feel like a pro almost immediately haha. The actual day of the wedding Joy and Robert were in our corner all day making sure everything was perfect and going above and beyond their duties. Joy- thank you so much for that, truly. Our other vendors and friends kept telling us how great they were too. We are fans for life.

During the height of the Covid crisis in the dfw area…read morewe had to reschedule our wedding due to local government preventing wedding from being held and our venue was forced to be closed during our date. So we were forced to reschedule and we got our new date that worked for us with the venue and the other vendors however the new date didn't work for Joy, so we were generous and said don't worry about refunding the deposit just keep it because we imagine you have had a lot of cancellations/reschedules and she waited to see if our credit card would be charged for the full payment. However after the lack of communication from Joy (not responding for several days) we froze the credit card that way it wouldn't be charged. Then she tried to come back and tell us that we should move our wedding to a date that worked for her or pay her the remaining balance of the her fees. And we politely mentioned to her that at no fault of our own that we were FORCED to reschedule our wedding and the new date was all that would work for all of the vendors and venue. She demanded yet again that we pay the full amount. And the only reason we got her to understand that we were not going to pay the full amount was because we pointed to her contract (that had unfair contract language that would never stand up in court) and she came back and never apologized or sympathized just simply said I cannot force you to pay.. Joy was very unprofessional she tried to be underhanded and take advantage of us as her customer. I would strongly discourage anyone from signing any contract with Joy because she has unfair contract language and puts you at a disadvantage as a customer.

For those who are looking for a wedding photographer, here's why you need Laura: 1) Flawless Execution One of the MOST IMPORTANT lessons I learned from wedding planning is that the on-the-day execution trumps any portfolio. Wedding photography is a completely different ball game from studio photography and unfortunately, many of the current "wedding photographers" fall in the second category. It's easy to set up the perfect lighting, line up the perfect angle, and set up the perfect pose for a "perfect shot" (and even apply the perfect filter afterwards). That's studio photography and anyone can do that given a good camera. Wedding photography, on the other hand, is about capturing the moments. It's about having the instinct and the experience to capture those split seconds, those candid moments, and knowing how to respond to those unexpected events (which happens at every wedding). Laura's execution is flawless, which comes from her extensive resume and attention to details. Her efficiency is off the chart. That's how she can crank out 3,000 pics (while others can only do 800) w/o compromising quality. 2) Excellent Support Team All of the packages comes with 2 photographers + 1 "assistant", with Laura being the lead photographer most of the time. However, the rest of the team is superb as well (unlike other studios that just grab some complete newbie). Everyone on the team has their own photography studio, including the "assistant". Our second photographer actually charges more than Laura does at her own studio! How Laura can get her as a second photographer is beyond my understanding. So essentially, you're getting 3 professional photographers. What a deal! Each photographer has his/her distinct on-the-day roles. Laura is in charge of constantly following the couple, period. The second photographer is in charge of the guests, all the candid moments, and setup for some artistic studio shots. Everyone is professionally dressed and communicated well. With 3 photographers, you can easily get 100% coverage of the entire wedding. As a cherry on top, Laura personally processes some pics immediately after the wedding (usually past midnight) and will have a sneak peak of about 70 pics ready before the morning. 3) Contagious Personality Laura loves weddings. She genuinely loves weddings and helping brides, and her excitement is contagious. She's much more than just a photographer that you hire for one day. My wife and I have gained a friend though the process. I would recommend Fairytale and Laura to everyone looking for a true wedding photographer. I've gone to many weddings over the past few years and I can confidently say that no one came anywhere close to the level of execution that Laura had. After the wedding, David was extremely patient with me as we worked on the wedding album. David was always ready to move forward but due to my busy work schedule, it was always hard to respond immediately. David sent me multiple reminders (which I truly appreciated) and showed that he cared about the production of my wedding album.
