I first became OBSESSED with the make-up line Hey Sailor Cosmetics since it was previously Addiction NV and in result of that met the owner Noel. She is extremely passionate about her products and let me tell you it shows through in her work! She is AMAZING at what she does and wants you to be stoked on the look you are trying to achieve. I'm an Esthetician so I'm pretty critical when it comes to what products I use on my face. I love that everything is mineral based, which won't clog your pores or break you out and still has great coverage! Came to her a couple times , my mom recommended me to ADRIENNE so I went, she charged me double what she charged my mom both visits only for her to do fine on the first one but totally screw up my hair the second visit. She recommended and sold me a product that turned my hair completely the wrong color and recommends I stay patient till my whole head turns that color... She refuses to correct her mistakes that she made on my hair. Not happy at all and completely bitchy service !! Drinks alcoholic beverages while working on clients. I found my new salon home at Hey Saylor Salon and Spa. I was recently turned down by another salon because I was told my hair was too curly, long, and thick. Long story short I was devastated at first. Luckily, I was referred to Hey Saylor and had the best experience ever with Brittney. She really took care of me, made me feel welcome, and took her time to really give my curly locks some tender love and care. I look and feel AMAZING!!!! Anyone with curly hair knows how hard it is to come by a good hairstylist who knows what he /she is doing. Brittney is definitely experienced and knowledgeable on how to cut curly hair right! Came Into Hey Saylor needing some help with my Hot Heads extensions. I had them recently put in and they were not quite right. I called and spoke to Adrienne the owner and she was nice enough to find an appointment for me last minute with Travis. When I arrived Adrienne the owner and her stylists greeted me with a warm welcome and put my mind to ease. I have to say the salon has a very cool vibe and is super cute. The kinda place you want to visit more often :) I'm so thankful that the whole team helped out and Travis my stylist was just so friendly and helpful with what I needed to know about my new amazing hair. A+++: This salon is fantastic! Brittney does magic with my hair and I couldn't be happier. I have very dark hair, and Brittney manages to keep it blonde, silky, and healthy. You would never guess I'm not a natural blonde. Also, my hair feels as great as it looks (and "brunettes gone blonde" know that's the dream!!!) I don't understand how she does it, but I've never been this happy with the color and shine of my hair, and my hair has never been this happy with me. I've been getting my haircut for years from Tracy and was excited to see that she moved to a salon closer to my house. At first I was worried about paying for parking but was happy to hear that the validate parking for customers in the big downtown parking structure. I was really impressed by the welcoming vibe of the salon when I entered. All the staff made me feel like I was an old friend who was coming to visit and I was more than happy to take them up on their offer of an adult beverage while I was waiting for Tracy to finish up (I was super early cause I thought it would be hard to find parking but there were ample spaces available) Luckily I didn't have to worry about making a bad haircut decision under the influence cause Tracy has a great memory and knows exactly what I'm talking about when I ask for "kinda like what I got two haircuts ago but maybe a little shorter on the sides". Overall I'm very happy that my haircut Jesus Tracy made the move to this new location. Very clean and accommodating place plus as a bonus I can hit the nightlife on main st right after and see how many head turns from all the beach bunnies I can get with my new look! read more

When I first moved to Orange County from NYC (specifically Brooklyn) I was worried that I wouldn't find a hair stylist who not only got my taste but had the experience and awareness to pull it off. At first I went with a very hip looking salon and a very hip looking dude but unfortunately hitting 'cool' points did not keep me safe from a poor dye job. So poor in fact, I covered it up myself with a pink semi-permanent dye (not unusual for me, I've done semi-perms before). But then I got in a pool and now my hair is way too funky even for me. So not only do I need to recruit a new stylist but I need color correction. Cut to Adrienne. I met her outside of the salon, at my job, she seemed knowledgable and confident so I took a shot and was not disappointed. Not only did she fix my hair but I had a great social experience at the salon. Since then, I've been back 3 times and it only keeps getting better.
