Not only have my extensions lasted so long, but my natural hair is still super healthy and that means a lot to me. I love the confidence I've found since coming here and it's always a fun time. Chloie is bubbly and kind by nature and will spoil you every chance she gets. It's clear she truly cares about her clients. The salon itself is also great! It's easy to find, has plenty of parking right in front. When you walk in, everyone (front desk and hairstylists) smile and greet you and make you feel welcome. had a consultation and then a wave, lasted 2 days and then some of my hair went straight. Paid $150 plus 20% tip. I was told that a haircut was included. At the time I decided to hold off on hair cut to see how the wave would hold. I was told at the time after 14 days a hair cut would be 1/2 price. 9 days later I go into get a hair cut hoping the curl would come back. I was told the hair cut would be $30. needless to say i was disappointed and angry what happened to taking pride in your work what happened to keeping you word. I have gray hair so the assumption is that I am old and do not belong in the salon of young ladies. Well that is to bad. I had a very disappointing experience with XENA as my hairstylist. I paid over $600 for a haircut, color, and styling service that did not meet professional standards. The final result was uneven, with a noticeably blunt and inconsistent cut that did not align with the technique or outcome that was discussed. In addition to the cut, the color service did not turn out as expected. I requested a blonde result, however my hair remained predominantly brown with the blonde barely visible, making the overall look far from what was agreed upon. After I brought this to her attention, she initially acknowledged that the result appeared off and mentioned that the cut should not have turned out that way based on the techniques used. However, after a follow-up, she reversed her position and stated that the haircut did not look this way when I left the salon, implying that the issue was not due to her work. Despite my attempts to resolve the situation, including sharing photos and clearly explaining my concerns, there was no accountability taken. She declined to further discuss the matter and did not offer to fix the haircut or provide any form of refund. For a service at this price point, I expected a high level of skill, consistency, and customer care. Instead, I was left having to seek corrective services elsewhere and spend additional money to fix the issue. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and willingness to stand behind the work was extremely disappointing. I would recommend others proceed with caution or rather don't go at all unless you want to be taken advantage of and scammed .I had been a long time client of hers always paying a ton of money and never had an issue and when I do she did this ?Really sad and disgusting to rob people blindly.I am late writing this review but the owners she supposedly spoke to never did anything either. read more

Lauren is incredibly talented. She's been caring for my hair since 2022. I came to her chair bleached and broken. My hair was thinned out from all the breakage and felt like straw. She coached me through it all, how to care for it at home, put me on the right products, and came up with a trim et al schedule so I could get it back on track. Over the last year, the results of her guidance have been at warp speed. These locks are looong, shiny, healthy, and full. And I have the best bangs, omg! The salon itself is tucked away in a small center very close to the beach. It's always good energy and everyone is friendly. It's very clean, there someone tidying up all the time. And there's a little fashion section to peruse, casual sort of western or lite country girl clothes and accessories. There was a cowboy hat I was eyeing, so cute. Please be sure to do your research before getting your hair done here. I paid over $1500 dollars for hair extensions with Chloie. I let her know I was interested in weft extensions but I wasn't familiar with them I've tried every other method and for the past few years I've been using Slavic ktips. She claimed that I would be a good fit for them and we can do a ktip on the sides and vtips for the top of my head since I had fine hair. I mentioned to her that two important things was that I wanted my hair to look natural and I wanted to wear my hair in a ponytail By the time she was done the color of the wefts was slightly off and the hair felt very thick and blunt. On the way home a few v lights fell out and by day 3 they were gone I let her know but instead of offering me a refund she said she wouldn't charge me the next time which I wasn't too happy about but I gave the benefit of the doubt. She charged me 150 for that while also saying she had only did it one other time. A few days later I let her know the color was off ( I went in for a consult prior to her buying the day btw) she asked me to come in, which I did. I also let her know my other concerns about the Wefts showing even in a little ponytail . She let me know she can install invisible wefts but didn't offer the first time around I told her we can try it but a few days later I just see that the hair texture which she did not tell me was straight at the time of the consult- it does not match my hair at all. It looks like my hair is sitting on top of extensions. I let her know of all my concerns. My tips are bulky I did provide them and so she's blaming that instead of admitting to an improper installation. after letting her know all of my concerns she offered to do invisible Wefts and I'm trying to make her understand that wouldn't make a difference. The texture is way off. She seems to be blaming me instead of taking accountability that I wasn't a good fit for this in the first place. I did ask for a refund and only asked her if I can get a partial refund of $500 because I do understand it took a lot of work. She only offered me 150 which I think is very insulting. She is standing by her offering to try to fix this with the same method, (wefts) but I'm clearly not a good fit for and you can clearly see the texture difference is obvious. I also let her know when she told me the price I never complained I let her know I understand extensions are a luxury but in this case her Work does not justify what she is charging it's been 2 weeks since the install and has been a complete headache. Not only am I out over $1500. She also is keeping the hair that I purchased. Please be careful. read more

I'm so happy I got to meet Jordan today and finally get my long awaited haircut. I've been searching for a hairstylist in OC for so long, and I'm so happy with how my hair turned out and with the whole experience. Jordan was super sweet and lovely. She was very communicative when I booked my appointment and really accommodating with my schedule, so I'm glad I was able to see her so soon. My hair was very long and thick, but she was so patient, and really took her time, which I appreciated so much. She talked me through every step, made me feel comfortable, and the way she styled my hair at the end was perfect! I love the length, the feel, and the overall look. I'm so glad I found her! When my hairstylist of over 20 years called it quits, I was really nervous about finding someone else. Fortunately, a co-worker recommended I go see Carrie at Medusa Salon. I booked an appointment and went to see her, three or so years after my last hair appointment. And let me tell you - I was immediately relieved and happy that I went to see her. Carrie is kind and funny, and is very versed on the trends that cycle with hairstyles. I have been to her twice now, and each time I gave her pretty much nothing to work with by way of style suggestion, but she has given me a great cut that suits my hairt ype, face shape AND that looks really cool growing out. Most recently I had some light bangs cut in since I wasn't sure about the commitment right now and she gave me some cute ones that have grown out seamlessly into the rest of my hair. I'm thinking about doing a more drastic style change and if anyone can do it, Carrie can. Getting ready to schedule another cut here soon and I can't wait to see what Carrie has in terms of suggestions, too! Jordan was amazing!! She was really attentive and detailed with the cut while getting exactly what I wanted! As someone who has curly hair, I think she did a great job with the layers and bangs while keeping in mind of my natural curl pattern and length. I came to Chloe with head sores all around my head, bald spots, and extensions that didn't match and too many grams on my hair.
