I have been waiting eagerly for the Hackensack location to open ever since i saw the sign taped to the window. This location is in the heart of Hackensack right on Main Street. There are plenty of (paid) street parking spots or there is a small lot in the back of the store right off Camden Street. I believe you can enter the store from the back door if you park in the lot. I went during their soft opening which was followed by their grand opening three days later. They are still offering grand opening specials until this Wednesday 9/25. I tried Dragonfruit (with low sugar) for the first time and it was a nice subtle sweetness. It's amazing to see how much Hey Yogurt has grown in popularity this past year. I'm glad they found a home in Hackensack for us locals to visit frequently!

Didn't know there was a new Hey Yogurt location so nearby! While we just missed their grand opening BOGO deal, we still got to try their new menu - Matcha and Strawberry Yogurt: I haven't seen this in any location! The Matcha is really subtle at first but once you let the yogurt melt, the Matcha flavor comes out and blends really nicely with the sweet Strawberry. The staff was also very welcoming and nice, which has been very different from other Hey Yogurt locations that are more self-service based. Can't wait to come again!

We recently moved across the street and have gotten hey yogurt 3-4x a week. Tried pretty much every flavor - really love the green grape and my wife loves the strawberry matcha. Great customer service and attention to detail when making the drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside clean and modern looking - love the logo on the wall to take great Instagram photos.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Hey Yogurt is consistently good and this location is no exception. Made fresh to order, friendly and courteous staff - we enjoyed our usuals here. We'd love to see their cakes sold my slices - that would be awesome.

The Manager/owner went above and beyond to make us comfortable, was genuinely happy to create our selections, and added to the enjoyment of the visit. The beverage items were: Iced Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso (Espresso swirled with brown sugar, cinnamon, and milk). I really enjoyed this beverage. It was served in a large glass and the presentation was appealing. It showed the flavorful espresso at the bottom 1/4 of the glass and after mixing it all together.....wow! The next choice was the Mocha Latte, with slim milk. The only thing I'll mention about this drink was, that it was the best they've ever had, annnnnnnnd they've had a lot of them. Thank you, Iconic Coffee, for creating a business with a welcoming atmosphere and a relaxing ambience. I'll happily return and will gladly spread the word. :-)

The gianduja crunch hazelnut was what brought me back. I visited on a Sunday afternoon in summer with the family, and it was packed. There was real no space to enjoy the ice cream either. In line, I noticed no one offered samples or took my order proactively until I reached the cash register, by then it was too late to sample. There were two guys manning the ice cream station, a lady manning the register, and a few in the back kitchen. I ordered a pint of the gianduja crunch, a single vanilla, and a single flan. The vanilla was average, it didn't wow me (I was hoping for something less sweet, more like haagen dazs vanilla bean). I think they used too much vanilla flavoring. The gianduja was very good and appropriate with a crunch, and the flan was solid too, glad we went with those. They seemed a bit disorganized when paying/receiving the order (chalk it up to being busy young adults). I had to ask multiple times if they had given my pint since they called my name out to give me the single serving but they were still working on mine but were also bringing out different order pints to other customers so it was a bit lack of communication and clarity that needed polishing. They also didn't have any cooler bags to sell or give out, which would be helpful for a 30-minute drive home in summer. Pricing was fair, not too expensive. I saw the awards the owner has displayed and was happy for them. Overall, the ice cream itself is a bit above average with some really interesting flavors. Glad to see small businesses like this open up. I do hope they can refine the customer service experience a bit more. Their ice cream has real potential to impress the right investors and grow if they can hire the right management team.

Anyway, came here on a weekday afternoon and wasn't busy at all- that's not to say that the food/bakery wasn't good. It was AMAZING. I got the lunch special which was chicken soup with breaded filet, salad and rice for $12.99. WHAT! And that portion was BIG as you can see from the pictures. Our server was attentive and got us whatever we needed almost right away! My breaded filet came out delicious. Perfect amount of crispy where it's not overdone and it wasn't drenched in any sauce that made the filet soggy. The house salad was simple yet flavorful and that chicken noodle soup was SO hearty that I wanted to go in the kitchen and scoop myself more. The place is big and bright and clean. Bakery on one side of the restaurant for quick take out and restaurant to the right. There's street parking but there's also parking in the back where the giant farmer market is, but it can be a busy lot. I came back here again with my husband another day and had another lunch special which was grilled chicken with mushroom sauce and my husband had a 16oz churrasco, all cooked to perfection. We got some bakery goods to go and we can't wait to have them later. Highly recommend this place!!
