A popular spot with automated ordering with plenty of choice and add-ons. We loved it freshly rolled ice creams with our specific toppings. Very generous and full of sugar, makes everything instantly better.
Ordered the strawberry fields with whipped cream, Oreo, pocky, sprinkle, and blueberries. It was really yummy with ample toppings. Highly recommend for a nice sweet treat after dinner.
What a cute roll up ice cream spot! Space is limited with just a couple of benches to the side, as a waiting area, and front window high top seating. We patiently waited for a couple to leave before taking over. I did the mistake of not adding the free fruity pebbles toping until later because I just wanted to try the ice cream alone first, definitely great either way. Hoping to go back soon and try the banana with Nutella, and the mango mango flavored options.
I've visited JINN Ice cream rolls for years- for some reason, I never thought to review my favorite, calm, and local ice cream shop (??). Whenever I visit, I always make sure to order the mango flavor and strawberry flavor. Something about watching the employee crush fresh fruit into the cream is sublime. The taste is truly different when real fruit is added to the mix!! I always have to make a stop every month, so I highly recommend this store. PS. Make sure to pay in cash, so you receive a small discount!
Stumbled upon this gem after dinner in the main street area. Very interesting flavors like avocado. Tried the smores please with a few toppings. The ice cream is rich and creamy .Very big portion and priced at 8$. I wish they had a smaller size for a cheaper price. It is too much ice cream for one person. Good for sharing though.
Surprisingly good for such a simple concept. But am I getting good value? Not sure. $8 for a bit of ice cream.
I really like the ice cream here. Always tastes super fresh and I especially like that the cream is not overly sweet. Service is always fast. Java and strawberry are my favorites.
Good ice cream rolls with lots of fun flavor options and topping choices. Would recommend the Between You & Me, It's a Thai if you're a fan of Thai tea. The fruits were fresh and the serving size is perfect for a sweet treat for two. staff were very friendly and fast. Not a ton of seating inside.
Oh gosh... Not sure how this place got 4.5 stars... This was the most bland tasting ice-cream I've ever had! (There's a metallic after-taste that still hasn't left my mouth even after an hour.) Granted, the Oreo ice-cream had more flavor than the Green Tea ice-cream, but so disappointing. A big waste of money ($8 + tax per cup; $17 for two). On a positive note, rolled ice-creams with toppings are definitely a fun and beautiful idea!

Additional topping costs $1 each after the first 5. Ice cream is very soft and perfect amount! I usually ordered one and share with my bf. Also, the decoration is so pretty.

We ordered a "Between you and me, it's a Thai" flavor which is basically Thai Iced Tea flavored ice cream which tasted pretty good. We topped it off with some graham crackers, sprinkles, boba, toasted marshmallow and condensed milk drizzle. There are many different options to choose from and you get up to 5 toppings to choose from...additional toppings are $1 each after the first 5. We went on a weekday night so service was fast and the place was not too crowded. The inside was pretty clean and sleek with the decor.
Such a nice and quick spot to pick up dessert after dinner on Main Street in Fort Lee. Workers were very nice and accommodating. Parking was pretty straightforward with the availability on main street and the side streets nearby as well. read more
I was craving some dessert and found this hand roll ice cream spot. All the rolls are $8 plus tax with free 3 toppings of ur choice. I decided to try the Kung fu panda which is black sesame and got it with pocky, almonds and blueberries and it was delicious The Worker was quick with our order, overall I would definitely be coming back to try their other flavors. read more

I've been here multiple times. It's cut and small. I get the Equally matched everytime because i love matcha ice cream. They have a clear glass so you can watch them making and rolling the ice cream. They have lots of topping options. But I like mine plain because I don't like it to be too sweet. Definitely a great dessert option in Fort Lee! read more

This was my first time trying rolled ice cream, and Jinn made it a good experience! I got the Equally Matched (green tea and strawberry). The combo of these two flavors was really tasty. Rolled ice cream might be a bit less creamy than normal ice cream, but it was still soft enough to easily eat with a spoon. The $7 price was pretty good. Regarding the place itself, they didn't have any seats or tables available to sit inside, which was disappointing (it's a small spot). I liked how you can see the guy making the rolled ice cream right behind the counter. The service speed was pretty quick, and the lady behind the counter was very nice. It also wasn't too busy, even on a Saturday night. Overall, Jinn is a great option for dessert in Fort Lee if you're in the mood for ice cream and want to try something a bit more special than ordinary ice cream. read more

ocated on Main Street in Fort Lee, Jinn makes visually alluring ice cream rolls. Having caught a glimmer of one of their creations, a visit was made. Once inside, an order was placed for a "Between you and me, It's a Thai" and a "Kung Fu Panda (Black Sesame)". The open prep area allows one to see the creation of their order. It's definitely worth it to watch if you've never witnessed a "rolled" ice cream being born and created. Imagine mysterious liquids being poured on frigid cold tables, mixed with ingredients to aid in flavor, and then scraped to form rolls of deliciousness. Although the ice cream rolls are a work of art, I found the mouthfeel and flavors were unlike "traditional" ice cream. It was waxy and oily in an artificial way and the flavor notes/profile were coerced to mimic the true flavors of it's targeted flavor. I can only imagine what ingredients are used to achieve the visual show of "rolled" ice cream. It's definitely worth a visit if you've haven't experienced a "rolled ice cream" but for me, I'll prefer "homemade" ice cream made from simple ingredients of cream, milk and sugar. read more

Deserts are quite simple. Texture and flavor! The rolls i got was the cookies and cream flavor as it is my favorite ice cream flavor. The ice cream rolls had the most amazing texture and crumbled in my mouth. Flavor was also very good! Can't say much more! Cheers! read more

*This is a review being written about three years late. I first and last came here with a friend when it had just opened. I remembered seeing a bunch of young boys who looked like they were 13 or 14, looking super nervous from inexperience. It took some time to get my order but I don't blame them since there were so many people and literally everyone was watching. I had a good experience and I think the ice cream was pretty tasty. At the time, I paid $7 - hopefully the prices haven't changed too much. I'm sure the boys working there got much faster as the weeks/months/years have gone by! read more

Very busy spot on a Tuesday night. Ice cream is legit. Specialized so that's where the wait comes in but I highly recommend. Used to be able to watch them roll it but since the Panny, that fun is gone. Might be able to order ahead and pick up cause standing and waiting for 15-20mins ain't it. Good thing I'm able to watch the Yankees while I wait. The music played in the shop is cool too. Been here a few times and will come back read more
I'm not a huge fan of rolled ice cream because I prefer creamier options, but the Thai iced tea ice cream tasted pretty good and I appreciate the unlimited toppings! It's fun to watch them spread and roll the ice cream too. read more
Good ice cream. Take out only. Cute interior. I absolutely love fruity pebbles as a flavor. I just don't think I had enough fruity pebbles mixed into my ice cream. I hope they bring back the cute Graham cracker teddy bears as a topping, they didn't have those today. Half the space is barred off and you can't use the bathroom anymore. read more

Ordering: Simple, easy, friendly Food: My girlfriend and I had the number three, strawberry fields. I had the cashier select my toppings, and it was great! It came with chocolate pocky sticks, fresh strawberries, sprinkles and gummy bears. It definelty satisfied our sweet tooth for the night! Strawberry flaovr was on point, not too much, not too little. Portioning was just right for the price of $7.00 (5 free toppings included)! I ended up getting another one to-go. Equally matcha! Would definitely recommend!! read more

Delicious ice cream (possibly better than regular ice cream) and wonderful service. All of the workers there were very courteous and always do things with a smile. We got "Grandma's milk and cookies", which I loved. It could have used a bit more oreos, but that's a minor issue. I also really appreciated the unlimited toppings option. The only reason that it didn't get a full 5 stars was that $7 is a bit steep for what is essentially a single large scoop of ice cream (appears more since it's rolled). Nevertheless, definitely would come again! Fair warning - it gets packed! read more

Took my boyfriend here for an after dinner dessert. I don't usually eat ice cream for dietary reasons but decided to take the chance today. Super delicious & no stomach ache. They make the rolled ice cream right in front of you which is cool. We both loved our ice creams and will definitely be back this summer! read more
I've been wanting to try this place for a while. Tonight was the perfect night to take the kids on an ice cream run. I easily found street parking near the shop. The shop is modern and very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. Our group tried S'mores, Strawberry, and Cookies and Cream ice cream roll sundaes. It was fun watching how the ice cream rolls are made. The finished product was rich and flavorful and had a nice texture. Everyone in our group enjoyed their dessert and would like to return. We were served quickly and were able to find seating. The shop did a steady business the entire time we were there. We'll certainty be adding Jinn to our dessert rotation. read more
