Buyer beware. Website on its own merit looks great! Poor communication and poor response times on tech requests.. Unfortunately I'm stuck with them for 12 months unless I take them to court. Recently things are seemingly getting better. Fingers crossed it stays this way. read more

They did nice work on the web page design but dropped the ball on EVERYTHING else in customer service. In over a year we have not seen nor heard from them on any Analytic Reports that are to be included with the monthly Maintenance fees. They do not communicate with you at the end of the contract and cancelling said contract is worse then dealing with Comcast. They just keep billing with NO response. Was billed by Go-Daddy even when HFB was hired to handle this. Complete waste of time and MONEY!!! read more

HFBTech forgot to transfer Meta Tags, Alt Tags and didn't test Customer contact options for 7 months. They cost me over $500,000 of lost sales and took no responsibility for it. Having to take them to court to get my money back. This company is grossly Incompetent!!! read more

HFB Technologies function by overcharging their clients for services they don't understand and overpromising on most services. That is what they did to me and others. 1. You don't have access to your website. If you state that you also want access, and they will shut you down. 2. Your web designer makes you promises they can't keep. They will steal your website if you want to discontinue hosting with their hosting company which is InMotion. This has been the worst business experience I ever had and I'm still working on clearing up the mess. read more

If I had a single price of advice when looking at a web development project, it would be look anywhere except HFB. This is the worst, most dishonest, unprofessional, over promising and underdelivering company you'll ever run into. They're happy to take your money whether they ever fulfill their promises or not. I had to wait at least a year before posting this review. This is how they keep their rating so high. They lock you into a contract with a clause prohibiting you from leaving any negative reviews for at least a year. Most people would forget by then but they did me so wrong that I've been biding my time waiting for the day to come. If you want to work with a company that has integrity and deserves the rating they have rather than achieving it with backhanded tactics, look elsewhere. If what you really desire is a company that takes your money with lofty promises, never delivers and screws you...HFB is definitely who you want to hire. read more

Had been with HFB for nearly 10 years. What I can say about my experience there is that is has been a steady downward spiral in the area of customer service and communication. I have had previous issues and decided to give them another chance. The company's interest does not lie in existing loyal customers, but prioritizing new business. My service request would go unanswered for months, or it is constant follow up. And when maintenance would be done the majority of the time it was late, wrong or most often not done, again so much follow up. Reaching out for help on the follow up was task in itself. Emails go without a response and when you try to address the issue, it was constant blame shifting, just poorly managed. The final straw came with a critical adjustment that needed to be made on time. It was something we have done quite often. It was done SO wrong, it cost my company $15k, a nightmare of refunds and a customer service complaints for my company in the span on a week. We reached out several times even to the owner for an explanation or something. STILL NOTHING. We finally made the switch to another company, but HFB made the effort to let us know we would be charged one more month for their "services "as we did not cancel ON TIME. Once we made the switch to the new provider, they did an audit on my website that was managed by HFB for nearly 10 years. It was discovered many critical updates were not completed and what was done was done outside of best practices for security. it was messy. We would caution any business owner to avoid the sales pitch as eventually you won't matter either. They say they offer these other services but you can't get them do what they say the will do. Very disappointing and a huge costly headache to work with these people. read more

Wow this company deserves way more than 5 stars!! We decided to switch to them, as I felt they understood more of what we wanted and they answer all the questions that I have. Today Sally called me and told me my old website company turned off the website, which they were supposed to have up until the end of the month, and Sally is getting it all taken care of. I hired HFB technologies over 7 months ago on their promise to more than double my sales. They up dated my existing web site in several ways and it looks more professional. I was contacted by one of the owners of the company this afternoon and he spent well over an hour explaining what they are doing for me and how my web site is moving up on the listings. He was very understanding of my concerns and I now understand all this company is doing for me. At our request we had a conference call so we could all be on the same page, since we were paying for a customized version of the template. We contracted a graphic designer to create several page mock-ups to help the website company understand what we wanted. They agreed everything was within the scope of the project and their abilities. We included a "time is of the essence" clause in the contract with a website delivery date that all parties agreed upon. Long story short, the website did not go live until three weeks after the due date. We went through many rounds of changes. Most of our feedback was "see mock-up". Other feedback included fixing sloppy work. The company provided no added value and seemed only able/willing to follow directions, which had to be repeated. The people we worked with were friendly enough. However, towards the end of the project, emails and feedback via their project portal either went unanswered or had a very delayed responses. We have since had to hire a website professional to fix errors. We would not hire Realty Candy again.
