Whether your goal is to lose weight, maintain yourself, or improve your personal physique, you can meet all of those needs here. Community here is wholesome and pleasant. Working out here feels great and everyone here is always respectful and pleasant to be around. There is also yoga and core training classes being offered here which I found out recently. Basketball court is rented out and has non members filled with kids and family events every day of the week. Now they cater to kids and have them consuming the pool and studios. Lies are told to new members to get them to join. Automatic renewal in contract isn't brought up at joining and keeps people bound and nearly impossible to get out of. Equipment needs updating. Parking is terrible most days and members park anywhere they want , even in emergency and non parking areas making it hard to maneuver out of parking lot. Overpriced on top of maintenance fees twice yearly. Don't forget to add that to your membership cost. Not even sure what that ever goes to. They have one maintenance cleaner on staff to clean the whole facility. And repairs needed are very slow to getting fixed. Simply not kept up and seems to need more staff to get things done. Could be so much better.

Shame on you-Jeremy, for stating "if they are over 18 they are an adult and if they gave us their credit card- then they knew they were paying- we have been down this road legally before and our lawyers have held up in court". I had thought that the funding that we get charged would start going towards repairs. After nearly a year I realized nothing was changing. I had initially started at the Lenoir City location which is state of the art and clean, lives up to the true reputation of Golds. So much pride in that location! It's disheartening that the Golds Gym Franchise isn't consistent. The employees here are nice though! That's the only highlight. The new guy was polite, every front desk associate has been attentive and nice. Only downfall was tonight's missing second employee who could've helped me cancel. I joined Armor Gym a bit further away and they set the bar high. I hope with the feedback from me and others on your yelp/google reviews that this location improves someday.
