I had read good reviews about Blakeley prior but was still nervous when I went to see her the first time. I've had plenty of experiences in the past where the stylist would ask me about what type of pixie I wanted and then just go ahead and do something completely different but I am happy to report that Blakeley is definitely NOT one of those! During that first appointment, she really took the time to listen to what I wanted and would check in with me throughout to make sure that I was completely happy with the way the haircut was progressing (which I was!). I've been seeing her regularly for 9 months now and have always loved how my hair turns out every time! All that to say, she is an absolutely wonderful stylist who genuinely cares about giving you the best experience so if you are looking for someone who does a mean pixie, look no further! I usually only get trims here when I remember that I need to get my haircut cleaned up, and the service and efficiency of the whole process is chefs kiss. For women, cuts are $40 before tip. Men's cuts are $20. Unfortunately, I can't speak to the color or other treatments they offer. You can do walk-ins or call ahead for appts, as I prefer the latter, and make sure to ask who's working which days if you're planning ahead and if you prefer a certain hairdresser. Plenty of parking out front, get your Asian district shopping done, get a coffee at HQ or boba nearby, and you're bound to have a solid day.

I arrived a bit early and was greeted in a friendly manner by the staff and the salon pet-friend. Once it was my turn, I was treated like a person, not just a number. Christen took the time to discuss my options with me and talked me through the entire process.
