Who needs a pool when you're basically across the boat launch parking lot from Eagle Lake? The staff was beyond friendly and the self service model for wood and ice with Venmo and cash options was great. It was a smaller campground but had everything you truly needed, plus the option of renting one of their two pontoons. As much as is possible with a boat, it came with white glove service. They put it in the water for you and when you were done at the end of the day you gave them a call and they came and loaded it back up. Matt was awesome and gave some recommendations for spots to stop while out on the water. It couldn't have been an easier way to explore the Eagle River chain. We would definitely stay again and play try out their small cabin options at some point.

We completely understand the no-refund policy if the site were to remain vacant, but that is not what happened. They re-rented our site to another family and still refused to refund us a single penny. In other words, they collected over $300 from us AND another $300 from the next family for the exact same site and dates. This is nothing short of dishonest and greedy. I could have accepted losing my money if the spot went unused, but profiting twice off the same campsite is unethical and unfair. I will NEVER visit this campground again and will warn everyone I know to avoid it.

We checked in (the owner was very nice) and while driving to our tent site we just got bad vibes. We wanted a campground and to be around other campers but this is mostly a trailer park and most of the people seemingly live there. I think we spent maybe 10-15 minutes at our site and just decided to leave and go somewhere else and take the loss on our prepaid reservation.

Rented a camper there three years ago and it was messy and had food in the kids area. Told the…read moreowners and they didn't care so we cleaned it up. New owners took over so we gave the campground another chance. Rented a pontoon boat for half the day but wasn't able to get on it until an hour after our time because "there wasn't someone certified to bring the boat around for check in" never received an hour extended on to our time to make up for the hour lost. Rented it out the next day and when we turned it back in they said there was a bunch of stuff damaged to it but there wasn't. They showed me a small rubbed mark on a cushion that I never noticed and no one was even in that area of the boat. They said the whole cushion would need to be replaced but after arguing about it they settled on me just paying them 80 dollars. We had no intentions of ever returning but this year a family member wanted to use our boat for when they camped there so we drove there to drop it off and spend the day. They rented a dock but still had to pay a boat launching fee which is crazy because if you use a dock, of course you have to launch your boat. They used the floating docks and there was no tie offs to tie the boat to so they had to use the poles of the dock. This campground is money hungry!! Was with the old owners and still is with the new owners. This review is from the summer of 2023 which involves the new owners and not the old owner (Heather)

Path was kept just clear enough to keep it a fun little adventure. Very clean and lots of wildlife...if you're quiet. Very comfy sit on Kayaks. Knowledgeable outfitters. The upper piney area has some spacious sites with a lot of trees and space, decent bathrooms with pay showers that last for 8 minutes. Onsite is also a bar with patio area that is pleasant, with a friendly bartender and reasonable prices on pop and beer. Lakeside sites are actually lakeview as they are across the street from the lake, and that area is more communal open area. lakefront has beach/dock area and has a place to clean fish. Rates $28 - $35/day depending on lakeview or pine and elec or tent. RV sites also have water but no sewer. There is an onsite dump station. Would recommend and stay again. other campers were very friendly!
