MUCH more crowded MUCH closer to neighbors MUCH more expensive MUCH to many large trees with canopies that shade the sites AND provide ample amounts of tree sap on everything. WAY to many people making way to much noise without regard for neighbors. WAY to many people on a site. Rarely did anyone express a "hello" or any common civility. Camping sure isn't what it used to be..!

However we will not come back. We are Seniors and Thank gosh first 2 nights we had Quiet Peace. Come Friday we were ready to leave. Why on earth would a Campground have so many big rigs amongst the Popups, Tents practically on top of each other. The roads are not wide, curves everywhere. The trees need trimming big time. Into the night Campers driving in, lots of noise, car doors. If you want Peace and Quiet and Serene atmosphere "DON'T COME TO INDIAN SHORES" An Airstrip so close the planes are coming and going into the dark. Very Expensive and No Dump station. Lots of Improvements needed!!! Over 250 sites. DONE. DONE. DONE

The sites are all pull-throughs, plenty big enough for our coach and Jeep, and most of them have a great view of the pond. If you're looking for paved roads, concrete pads, fancy bathhouses, and all the typical campground amenities, this probably isn't the place for you. But if you're looking for a place with amazing star-filled skies, tall pines, fresh air, and the sounds of nature, Land O' Lakes delivers. There are easy hiking trails throughout the woods, and having free firewood available was a really nice bonus. Matt, the owner/manager, was friendly, helpful, and clearly takes a lot of pride in the campground. You can tell he cares about keeping the place clean, peaceful, and well-run. We enjoyed our stay at Land O' Lakes Nature RV Campground so much that we've already booked our reservation for next year. It's a special place, and we're looking forward to coming back. There is plenty to do in and around the small town of Land O' Lakes, WI. Boating, fishing, off-roading, and hiking are just a few of the ways to enjoy this beautiful area. During our stay, we visited several local favorites, including Bent's Camp, Cisco Lake Resort, The Burnt Bridge Tavern, and Dublin Sports Bar & Grill. Each offered great food, friendly people, and a fun North Woods atmosphere. Best of all, they are all within about a 30-minute drive of Land O' Lakes Nature RV Campground.

The location is perfect; quiet, secluded, wonderful and well-maintained trails for hiking and biking. We were close enough to town to bike in, but far enough away to feel we were in our own little oasis. To top it off, the managers are phenomenal, and always helpful when needed. They treat you like family and are always working to ensure our stay is as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The lodge is special, filled with history, art, fish and relics of the north woods. It truly is a treat to hang out at the bar enjoying the view of the beautiful lake the property sits on. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the amenities are fantastic. The lake is incredible, it rarely has any boating activity. The water is clear and clean for swimming, kayaking and fishing. The fishing in this lake is absolutely incredible. I cannot say enough good things about staying here and I look forward to getting back out there in the Spring. It's going to be a long winter!!

It's a simply lovely spot on a beautiful lake, and the sunsets are to die for from this exact spot on the lake. The cabin itself is cozy and homey - very relaxed. Beds are comfy and the cabins have everything you need, other than linens. Fishing and boating are wonderful on this lake, and my family loves to go tubing and waterski. There's a sand bar between two connected lakes that you can walk all the way across from shore to shore. I also love that the gas station, convenience store and restaurant are within a quarter mile of the place. Just no better place to stay for a fabulous vacation!

We opted to Moveto a full hookup sore which is further from the lake. The sites by the lake only have water and electric and we would've had to unhook and visit the dump station unfortunately so a full hook up site was way more convenient. We were insight 62 which is nice because it has a large grassy area. We paid $70/nite- I know they have better rates for longer stays We did have a picnic table and a fire pit and had a little bit of time to sit outside and enjoy it There is a really nice camp store and they do have some frozen items for warm-up along with s'mores and toys and shirts, and such Out in front of the office in store is a Beautiful lakefront area- they have Adirondack chairs sit here so you can avoid the views as well as as a beach with a swimming area although they do have assigned warning you that swimmers itch may be present- I had to look that one up since we're not from around here They also had a really nice basketball court and a bounce pad for the kids. This is definitely a family campground and many families were having gatherings while we were there. While I don't have any complaints for the campground. I will say that for all six nights we were here, not many people adhered to the quiet hours policy. We just turned the overhead fan on to douse out the noise as we didn't feel like disrupting anyone's family parties, but just be prepared for that. Chanticleer Beer garden... Disappointed We've been coming…read morefor 20+ years every time we're up in Eagle River. We make sure we stop in for beer and bratwurst off our pontoon boat. Yesterday was so disappointing. I don't think we're coming back. Several things . We were the only ones there at 11:30. We noticed....They have moved the grill from outdoors to indoors, which creates a huge timeline lag , from when you order to when you receive your food. We ordered six bratwurst, an order of chicken strips, chips, that's good tots, beer. The Brats were long and narrow( not plump and juicy). They were overcooked, super dry, and no flavor. The only thing good were the onions and mustard. But for 90$ worth of food ... the value killed the ambience. Our order took over 20 minutes to receive, hey we're on vacation and while the time wasn't terrible, but we were surprised as they were not busy. Things change over the years and the food quality this year is poor. Eat at your own risk.
