I went to this place as I had a bullseye chip. Richard, the owner was super helpful in calling my insurance and taking care of the claim process. Come to find out the chip was too big and the windshield would need to be replaced. He called the claim in and helped me out. He was knowledgeable and helpful. I needed my windshield replaced and happened to come across HI-QUALITY through a negative review for Safelite. Since my insurance is covering my claim, I had the option of where to go. After reading Safelite reviews, I don't think I will ever use them for anything. Their appointment and scheduling was a joke (i.e., I scheduled for the morning, but they told me I would have to wait until end of day, but I could have scheduled for 3p and had it done by 5p). I emailed HI-QUALITY close to closing time and Richard emailed my back asking me to call, which I did. I answered questions about my vehicle, so he could find the correct windshield, but I had to bring it in the next day to make sure we got the right part. I brought it in the next day. Our vehicle was broken into while traveling through Fairfield from out of state. All our luggage was stolen. I found HI-QUALITY through Yelps Project (quote) feature, first time using it.. Richard was the first to respond out of four businesses in the area and had the best quote. Overnight someone busted my passenger rear window open- this has never happened to me so it was a very stressful situation especially with the storms going on. My part was very hard to come by, the dealership itself couldn't even have it for three more weeks. I had to jump through a lot of hoops and the only other appointment I could get was with Safelite, who quoted about 3x what Richard did. He made sure to accommodate my appointment and bumped me up in his books as much as possible (even taking consideration to make sure I would have the minimal wait time sitting in the lobby since I would have to wait for my car). Richard was the only one who made it happen. A Lifesaver, a skilled craftsman, and a great communicator!! Richard made several calls back to me ensuring he could get the piece for me and get me in shop asap, I also had to make many calls back to communicate delays (other problems that had arisen) and he was nothing but patient. Richard was really great. Great customer service and the best prices I could find. He did work on two of my vehicles in the past month. 15' Toyota 4Runner and a 07' Civic. Both needed front windshield replacement. Quick and easy to set up an appointment and only took a couple of hours to complete. My 4Runner came back with a slight air leak but Richard repaired the leak with a replacement windshield. The Civic was perfect with no issues.
