Just Amazing! I was stranded in NJ not knowing where to go and I found what I call an amazing auto mechanic!!! Even though he was swamped with work he came out to ask how he can help and after waiting alittle time made time to check my vehicle . He didn't rush he did a full diagnostic check , test drives it and gave his honest opinion of what needed to be done and let me tell you !!! All that 3 hrs worth of his time.. no charge!! So I'm returning to have the suggested work done which is going to take a few days cause it's a big job. Now I know why he had such good business that day and I'm sure everyday. There was an issue getting the needed part due to no fault of the repair shop. They found an alternate source and drove over an hour each way to pick up the part. It was Thursday morning, Dec. 29, 2022, I was exiting to the street from the Tropicana parking deck enroute to my home in Maryland when suddenly without warning the message board on my 2011 BMW 550 Xi lit up with the alert, " Drivetrain malfunction please seek immediate attention" additionally the check engine light was illuminate. The vehicle then began to lose power and shake and rumble. I checked for the nearest BMW dealership and it was 9 miles away in Little Egg Harbor. Fortunately, i was able to drive the vehicle there, but upon arrival was told that they were backed up and wouldn't be able look at the vehicle until maybe two days later. To me that was unacceptable, so I searched online for an alternative auto shop that repairs foreign vehicles. The first one I came across was Hi Tech auto, I called the shop and spoke to rob and explained the problem to the best of my ability. He then quoted a cost to diagnose the problem and that cost would have to be paid whether the car could be fixed or not. I then began to search for other auto shops, but while I was in the process Rob called me back and told me to bring it in and there would be no charge for the diagnosis. Long story short I brought it in, Rob gave it his immediate attention and not only diagnosed the problem but actually fixed it and had me back on the road headed to Maryland in a little more than an hour. Moreover the bill was less than $200, which I am sure the dealer would have chargEd at least 5 times as much. Kudos to Rob, I am thankful that he called back, he was honest, knowledgeable, professional and sympathetic to my plight. I highly recommend Hi-Tech to anyone experiencing car problems. read more

What can I say, Rob is amazing! I was on vacation and I had called several places and was feeling that I had nowhere to turn. My car had a unique problem and it had to be fixed immediately. Rob said "Come on in!" I was there in five minutes. Rob literally dropped everything he was doing and looked at my car and it turned out to be a simple fix. He was kind, he was generous, he was really everything a human being should be. In my people's language -Yiddish, we would call him a Mensch- the very definition of what and how a man should be. Been a driver for forty years, and have owned many automobiles and SUVs in my lifetime. There have been only 2 mechanics I have ever been to where I haven't felt like I may have been ripped off, or have received shotty service.
