Disabled on the AC expressway, had to be towed to their location. Failed lower fuel pump, they quickly diagnosed and repaired. Towed there in the evening repaired by 230 the next day. Brandon gave great advice over the phone and kept his promise to check it early the next day. Second time here, first time they gave us a second opinion on a blown head gasket, junk the car, they recommended a different salvor and the estimate was 200 more! They didn't charge us for this diagnostic check and the recommendation got us 200 more for the car. They do charge scout 4% more for credit cards but before we picked up we found a 50 and 10 off coupon on the back of a neighborhood Shoprite receipt! Woo who! read more

This place is a total ripoff,this guy Mike is very unprofessional.He is not a people person,he is a con who ripped me off.sold me a 40.00 part for 240.00 charge me for 2 hrs labor at 114.00 an hour ,it only took 15 minutes to install.I approached him the next day and he could not explain to me why he charged me so much.He actually was very rude to me and my friend.I will be pursuing going to Corporate and making a complaint and then going to small claims court. This place is simply great!!! I'm new to the area...i had parked my car and when I got out I heard air coming out of my tire. When AAA came, the tire was completely flat, Don the guy with the tow truck who put the donut on my car, recommended auto tech when he saw the screw in my tire. He said most places might give me a hard time because it was close to the wall of my tire...however when I got there, Steve, the guy at the counter took a look, and said no.problem, we can get that fixed up for you. They were quick, affordable, and I saw them test drive the car afterwards to make sure it was all good. While I was waiting, I could hear Steve explain things to customers if their cars needed work...going step by step through the process if their car needed something...most places don't do a lengthy explanation like he did. Not to mention the place was clean and the guys were all super nice. They have my business now that I am a south jersey transplant!!!! read more

I had an EGR valve problem its the pollution control. Engine light came on. I took there they fixed it 500 bucks a day later the light came back on. Took it back they did something else same thing. Took hrs an they never call you back. So you call and he gets mad after waiting 5 hrs that I called him. So have to wait another week. I said no this is just going to happen again and again. Not sure but I think he is ripping me off. He berated me about the whole thing very nasty. So I went somewhere else got it fixed the first time. Beware of this guy Mike he is a rip off. I went to cameys in absecon they fixed it the first time. They are nice. Not nasty like this guy. I am not the only one either look at the other reviews simular to mine. These guys are a bunch of ruthless crooks. DO NOT GO THERE even if your life depends on fixing your car. 2 weeks ago I had a failed fuel pump on my 94' Nissan Altima and I had to tow my car to their shop. The next day I received a phone call from Autotech and they offer to fix the fuel pump for $865. That was the bill: $125 for towing the car (I paid $65 to the towing company in advance) $500 for fuel pump (which I purchased from AAP for $200) $240 for labor (which they jacked to $300 after I brought the fuel pump) I said to the guy that there is no way I am paying $860 for a simple fuel pump fix. After all my car is worth about the same amount. I spoke with the towing company about this additional $125 charge and they said that they are not involved and called Autotech immediately, so they removed it from my bill. I went to Advanced Auto Parts to get the pump from there and the guy behind the counter assumed that I am working at Autotech because they called him half an hour ago to ask him for the exact same pump, so it turned out they wanted to buy the pump for $200 from AAP and charge me $500 which is 150% profit only from the fuel pump itself. They were busted! I bought the pump and went back to Autotech. They charged me "only" $300 for labor and didn't gave me an warranty because they used a part purchased by me, even though it's the same part that they wanted to install in a first place. The way they tried to rip me off was outrageous. I asked the guy why they are doing that to people and he said "every shop does that and that's the way to make a buck". Once resolved to pay the advertised price, the car sounded worse then when I brought it there!! Back it went. They truer to tack on another fee!! Sorry not happening!! Just drive on by!!!
