Location is good. Layout of the room is good too. But the room is extremely dirty. It looks like they do not clean it in between guests, ever. Walks were gross with boogers, bedsheet were stained and dirty, bathtub was so disgusting we took showers wearing flip flops. No trash cans. We killed a spider in the room. Both windows were open. Door wouldn't lock from the inside. The place isn't abandoned, not well taken care of. We felt very disgusted by it, we only stayed cause we got there from a very long trip. read more

I booked a reservation through Expedia for 12 days. I was not happy with the location nor service. I spoke to Expedia and the owner stated that I would have to stay this past weekend because the, y wanted to meet their financial goals. I checked out yesterday June 8, 2026 and the owner agreed with Expedia and myself to reimburse the remaining days. I read an email from Expedia stating that the owner will not reimburse me for the remaining days. I left the room clean and not damaged. I do not recommend this place. This motel should've posted a warning. The rooms were not sustainable. We walked into our room to a broken window curtain and rod, blood on our sheets with no comforter, graffiti on the furniture, no working TV, blood/feces splattered on the wall, and no assistance from maintenance or the front desk at all. When asking for a refund or another room we were told they're booked up for the night and there's no refunds; you can call your bank or third party service you paid through. HOTWIRE put my college - aged daughter here with deceptive photos on their website showing fresh, clean rooms. It's nothing like the photos on their website... It's a real shithole. There were feces smeared on the walls by the bathroom along with holes in the plaster. The shower had broken tiles with sharp edges easy to slice your foot on. Old food was still inside the broken fridge. The dumpster outside her room had a mountain of trash around it and cats were everywhere after the rats the garbage attracted. Vagrants were smoking weed in the parking lot and harassing my daughter as she walked to the hotel from the car. The front desk clerk was barely conscious and didn't even tell her what room she was in before he walked away in a stupor. HOTWIRE showed pictures of rooms that appeared to be remodeled but in actuality were NOTHING like they presented on their website. HOTWIRE declined my offer to look at the photos and said it didn't merit a refund. I moved my daughter out of the roach and rat infested dump to a nicer Best Western nearby. HOTWIRE refused to credit my account or even to help me get my daughter to a safe hotel. They were fine leaving her stranded in East LA in the middle of the night. I had to book another hotel myself and pay walk in rates because HOTWIRE felt the dump bug and rat infested hotel with feces on the wall is ok for a college girl. HOTWIRE can't be trusted anymore since they sold out, their website supporting this unsafe shithole is totally unacceptable and we're out $80. If I could give zero stars I would. On Sunday 4/28 I booked a stay for 3 nights with a Wednesday 5/1 check out date. I needed a place to stay until my apartment was ready for me on Wednesday afternoon. When I pulled up to the parking lot, I was greeted by multiple men whistling at me and cat calling me. They were using drugs right outside the motel doors. I didn't even feel safe walking out of my car to check in, nor did I feel safe staying there even 1 night as a single young female. I had called the desk and told them I don't feel safe and was told "well your room is on the second floor" as if people can't walk up a staircase and potentially do god knows what to me. After much hesitation the woman on the phone said she issued a refund. I had booked through Booking.com and had contacted the site today 4/31 and was told the motel still hasn't approved my refund nor waiving of cancellation fee. I was charged $250 for the stay plus $59 to cancel. I called the motel and a man answered and said that he will complete this request. He hung up immediately. I receive an email a few minutes ago from the booking site saying that the motel still hasn't approved the request. This motel clearly doesn't care about people's safety, only cash. I will be coming in physically to resolve this and will get a civil case going if needed. Horrible customer service. read more

The photos online look good I wasn't expecting much for it being a motel but I have seen truck stop bathrooms cleaner and in better shape than this place. The first thing that hits you when you walk in is the smell of cigarette smoke and weed, than you notice all the graffiti in the room and from there it just gets worse. NO SMOKE DECTOR!!! Holes in the walls along with bad patches there is blood on the sheets, the door has been kicked in previously and barely closes/ locks, the air conditioner is held together with tape and there's exposed electrical wires from the face plate on the outlet missing, and to top it all off BED BUGS! We went to the front desk to ask to switch rooms and they flat out said no and gave a bad attitude with it. They even refused to give us new sheets and more than 1 bath towel for a room with 2 beds and 4 people in it. read more

BOOKED THIS ROOM on Expedia. photos showed fully furnished room, with 1 Double bed. Upon arrival, given a room with No furniture, 2 double beds with barely any sheets and 2 pillows, 1 small fridge and a wall mounted television. The room was clean. But had nothing, no nightstand, no table, no hangars. The maids were nearby so asked for Blankets. She brought 2 old yellow blankets with cigarette burns all over them. We were there for a Concert only. And found out from other party goers their rooms only had a bed and Television. The maids claimed the hotel under renovation. We heard many guests on motorcycles get turned away as they yelled " I have a reservation, I made a reservation!!!" they were turned away. The office people all Hindus now. It's within walking distance of Sprouts and Cost Plus and Target is a bit of a trek. But, hey, if you're hungry, I found a half eaten stale burrito next to the night stand and a fuzzy almond on the floor by the lamp if you still need more protein. It's In an industrial area so it's deserted. It's also a 10 minute walk from the Sierra Madre Gold Line stop. The room itself was so dirty. Bathroom had black mold and the toilet had poop stains on the outside. Lamps were broken and only 1 of the outlets worked but sparked every time I plugged in my phone. It took 8 hours to get a full charge so something is fishy with the electrical here. Def a fire hazard. The pool was locked and they wouldn't let anyone in. It was 96 degrees but I'm probably lucky I didn't go in and catch some funky bacterial infection. Just gross. read more

The worst hotel I've ever booked with. We booked 2 rooms for two nights, but unfortunately we ended up only staying for one night due to the unexceptional conditions. One of the rooms had blood spots on the wall, door, towel, and lamp. Not only that there was BED BUGS... the other room had moldy window seals and shower handle. The bed sheets/towels were not fully clean. If safety is a priority for you, neither of the rooms had a second lock like most hotels. We didn't stay in our rooms and opted in sleeping in our cars because there was no way we would want to sleep in those beds. I would not recommend staying here. read more

My 3 children and I lived here for a few months while homeless. The manager will only allow us to stay for 3 weeks then we will have to check out for 1 day and come back. That made things kind of hard for us because I had to be at work at 7:00am and we would have to move all of our belongings out. Then, when we would return, we would be checked into a different room. This kind of pushed us out of our element because I'd have to Spring clean the room all over again to make it comfortable for me and my family. Although, the bedding was clean, we would throw a clean sheet on top of the motel bedding and then sleep underneath our own personal blankets and on top of our own personal pillows. The managers, George and Davi were always very helpful and assisted me with clean sheets and towels to make us feel comfortable. The women desk clerks always courteous and treated me and my family kind. I've never seen any pests in any of the rooms we stayed in. The property was quiet and always felt safe. If any strange guest booked there, after any suspicion,they would be kicked out immediately and management would activity close the security gates and monitor the premises. I highly recommend this motel for families who need long term stays that offers reasonably low weekly rates. As long as you're a clean resident and clean up behind your pets, I don't think they will mind guest with pets. We had two shih Tzu miniature dogs and they were potty trained and we always kept our room nice and clean during our stay here. Management had always made me, my family, and our pets feel welcomed to stay here. read more

My room was styled like a bungalow so I did NOT experience overhead noise from other guests stomping their feet in rooms above. My room also came equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, 43 inch flat screen TV, closet with hangars, hair dryer, a wooden desk and chair. There is a 7 eleven, staples store, sushi restaurant and Cadillac as well as Range Rover dealership close by! My dislikes with this place are they charge a $20 cash deposit at check in, there is no swimming pool and fitness center. I'm renaming this to the NO Way Motel! Needed a last minute 1 night room in Pasadena so I booked through Hotwire...truly disappointed! I highly advise anyone to skip this motel. Check in was any time after 2 PM. Got to the Motel at 2:30 PM and there's a sign that read, "Back at 3 PM". That was frustrating as it was incredibly hot and I really needed to use the bathroom. So, we left to a restaurant and came back at 4 PM. There is a $20 CASH deposit required. Good thing I had cash ($23 exactly), but that would have been useful to know prior to checking in. Took a quick glance at the pool...nope, not doing it! Definitely would catch some flesh eating bacteria from that pool. The room...well, NO toilet paper. WTF? Overall, pretty dingy and old with a paint job. Toilet was unstable so one hard lean to the right and I was scared to topple over with the toilet. At 6 AM it clogged up, wouldn't flush so we went to front desk and they said maintenance arrived at 8 AM. So, bathroom was just out of commission. The unexpected guests...tiny roaches scattered all over the sink when I turned on the bathroom light. Ugh!! My skin is crawling. The noise...so annoying!! The guests above us must have been performing a triathalon or something. It was a pattern of running, door slams, yelling...and repeat. I saw a Best Western a block away and I was tempted, but then I told myself it's just 1 night. I will survive. I am the type of guest that likes to lounge around until check out time but with this place I was ready to leave ASAP. read more

Omg. We had booked this to stay after a full day concert so we wouldn't have to drive back to Orange County right after. Thought the photos on Expedia looked good and who doesn't love a little retro nostalgia? People were being loud and milling about, walked in to the room at 12:25am. It was hot. (59° outside) went to turn on ac, didn't work and missing buttons. Put our bags on the beds and noticed how ramshackle and filthy the room and floors were. Went to use the bathroom and was greeted by filth, mold, blinds that looked like a prisoner escaped the window through them. Then saw the cockroach. Nope. Done. Packed the car back up and were on the road by 12:30 and made the late night dive back to Orange County after dropping my sister off in west LA. Don't believe the photos on Hotwire or Expedia. I stayed here in 2007 on my way out of California. Returning to California in 2024, I thought this made sense. I don't know if the operators are ownership, but each time I stayed I had a room missing a working tv or microwave. There is no continental breakfast either. My final stay had a clogged toilet, no tv, no working lights and a dirty floor. In the dirt was a used crack pipe. Speaking with the front desk, he blew it all off with considerable attitude. My room was clean. However, I stayed on the bottom floor. The noise of stomping above me was just insane. You hear every step which sounds like elephants wrestling and it's all hours of the night. The manager or owner, David, was a nice enough person but seemed a little "not with it." Furniture was old and funky "used yard sale" looking. Rooms are non smoking but smelled like weed and cigarettes. Had to use a scented candle to avoid the smell. Rooms have a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. Maids do not clean the rooms on a daily basis. They will give you clean towels, etc. if you ask them. I asked for a broom and a mop. They gave me a broom but HAVE NO MOPS! I did as they do, wrap a wet towel around the broom and mop! I'm laughing at this now because it seems so insane but at $90 a night you get what you pay for (although 90 bucks today gets you a super budget budget motel). I cleaned my own room (AND DISINFECTED). Thankfully if they did have bugs in the past I didn't see one bug. If I had seen just one roach or bed bug it would have been an INSTANT wrap! It's mosquito season so that "cess"pool they call a sparkling pool was next to my room. Mosquitos were eating me alive even with Avon Skin So Soft sprayed on my body from head to toe, Overall, I wouldn't stay here again but that's mostly because of that upstairs noise. read more

The 1 Star rating is only because of how close this dump was to the Gold Line. When we arrived, there was "guests" hanging out in the parking lot, getting high. I thought nothing because it's legal and it wasn't going to be an all day sesh. Welp, I was wrong about that, there were more getting high when we got back from being out. After being out and getting ready to relax, the TV didn't work. And after going back and forth, a $10 refund was the most she was authorized to give. Long review short, we bounced after getting the $10 refund and left the key card. I filed a claim with the bank and am banking they dispute the charge. Customer service was horrible. Turns out this place is scattered with weekly tenants throughout the Hotel. Good luck and hope you have a better experience, better yet. The front desk girl Taline is amazing and makes this hotel what it is! She's so kind and cares about each individual here with her heart and soul!! So thankful for her and the manager Yohana! Me & my boyfriend wouldn't stay here if it wasn't for them both! Seriously! On the other hand, this one young girl with light purple hair, her name is Paloma defines the definition of RUDE! The final night of our trip to California was going to be a short one - a late night following the BCS Championship Bowl and an early morning flight - so rather than waste money and time leaving Pasadena and heading back to LA proper we got a room here for $45. This place is fucked up. The owners know just enough English to lie to you. Check in time at 2pm? At 3pm they'll tell you it'll be ready in half an hour. At 3:30 they'll tell you it's being cleaned and will be ready in half an hour. They know enough to tell you that you have to give $5 cash for a "key deposit" but not know enough to understand your request for a receipt for it. For your $5 deposit you'll get a key that the cleaning lady has because she's still in the room. What she's doing I don't know because the place is shit show. If an establishment is so nasty that you don't feel comfortable showering, you know it's bad. The stench was horrible. Like 100 years of cigarette smoking in a closed room in a hot climate. And surely the stench was only made worse by anyone like us who refused to shower. "Brand new non-smoking rooms" my ass. The clientele was about what you'd expect in a run down dump like this - it looked like crack whores and fugitives renting rooms by the month, Justin and me, and one old, rich Auburn grad who that had just flown in for the game and would be flying out the next morning. This spot is really disgusting. I rented thru Air BnB, so prepaid; on the second day I had no hot water in my bathtub. I elected to check out since the floors were also cracked, walls were damaged, floor molding was dirty, towels were awful, I could go on and on. They promised a refund for all prior paid except for the 2 nights I stayed; I agreed. They will not provide a refund. Air BnB also sucks because their refund policy does not accommodate anything except if it happens within 24 hours of check-in. Stinks! read more

I loved staying here! I was here for Super Bowl 2022 weekend and was put in one of the renovated rooms. The bed was really comfortable and the TV had cable channels (including some movie channels like HBO). The Wifi was strong for when I needed to take Zoom work meetings. My room also had a microwave and a mini-refrigerator, which was nice to have. I thought that the front desk staff was very pleasant. There was plenty of parking and was able to find a spot right in front of my room every time. There's a gate at the entrance of the hotel, which made me feel safe coming back at night. The location is great with lots of restaurants and food options nearby. There's also the Gold Line metro stop (Sierra Madre Villa Station) that's about a 10-minute walk if you need to take public transportation to get to Downtown, etc. I only wish that there were more trash cans outside of the rooms because I like to throw my food/trash rather than keeping it inside. Overall, I thought that the room was good for the price I paid and would highly recommend! read more

Clean but very minimal accommodations . I did find a small baby bug in the bathroom . Bottom level rooms are facing the parking lot . Woken up numerous times with people talking loudly and locking their cars and having their cars honking. Don't stay here unless you have some real strong sleeping pills! They don't even supply a Kleenex box in the room! Really cheap. Other places are more expensive but might be worth the money. At least you get breakfast at other places. On the weekend they jack the prices up by almost $30 . Surely not worth it. You get what you pay for and you pay way too much for what you get here. On the positive side it looks like they have made some pretty good efforts to refurbish the rooms but the efforts don't qualify the price they charge for the weekend rate. read more

When we arrived , I was kinda skeptical to get off the car, my husband entered our room , and I got off , as I went thru our room , many things wrong , ugh where do I start?? At the same time , i was trying to get the T.V. to work , but the cable wasnt working in the room. I went to the office to complain. After SEVERAL HOURS, our room was switched . The cable in the new room worked , but to our horror , there were bed bugs in this one too. We complained again. Unfortunately by this time , they had no other rooms available, and it was way too late to go to another place. We were tired so we stayed until the sun came up , and not a moment longer. However we were promised that our room fee would be refunded promptly in the morning. When we reached the front desk , I approached , and tried to be discreet, because I saw that there where new customers. However the Lady that was there became intensely irate when I tried to settle the issue of my refund. I was told this; " Prople come in here off the streets all the time. Its their fault , not mine.
