This motel should've posted a warning. The rooms were not sustainable. We walked into our room to a broken window curtain and rod, blood on our sheets with no comforter, graffiti on the furniture, no working TV, blood/feces splattered on the wall, and no assistance from maintenance or the front desk at all. When asking for a refund or another room we were told they're booked up for the night and there's no refunds; you can call your bank or third party service you paid through. It was absolutely disgusting, not a good experience, and unacceptable to rent out for a night or longer.

Broken shutters and numerous stains in the bathroom area.

HOTWIRE put my college - aged daughter here with deceptive photos on their website showing fresh, clean rooms. It's nothing like the photos on their website... It's a real shithole. There were feces smeared on the walls by the bathroom along with holes in the plaster. The shower had broken tiles with sharp edges easy to slice your foot on. Old food was still inside the broken fridge. The dumpster outside her room had a mountain of trash around it and cats were everywhere after the rats the garbage attracted. Vagrants were smoking weed in the parking lot and harassing my daughter as she walked to the hotel from the car. The front desk clerk was barely conscious and didn't even tell her what room she was in before he walked away in a stupor. HOTWIRE showed pictures of rooms that appeared to be remodeled but in actuality were NOTHING like they presented on their website. HOTWIRE declined my offer to look at the photos and said it didn't merit a refund. I moved my daughter out of the roach and rat infested dump to a nicer Best Western nearby. HOTWIRE refused to credit my account or even to help me get my daughter to a safe hotel. They were fine leaving her stranded in East LA in the middle of the night. I had to book another hotel myself and pay walk in rates because HOTWIRE felt the dump bug and rat infested hotel with feces on the wall is ok for a college girl. HOTWIRE can't be trusted anymore since they sold out, their website supporting this unsafe shithole is totally unacceptable and we're out $80. Stay away from this place and stay away from HOTWIRE.

    Bed bugs

The photos online look good I wasn't expecting much for it being a motel but I have seen truck stop bathrooms cleaner and in better shape than this place. The first thing that hits you when you walk in is the smell of cigarette smoke and weed, than you notice all the graffiti in the room and from there it just gets worse. NO SMOKE DECTOR!!! Holes in the walls along with bad patches there is blood on the sheets, the door has been kicked in previously and barely closes/ locks, the air conditioner is held together with tape and there's exposed electrical wires from the face plate on the outlet missing, and to top it all off BED BUGS! We went to the front desk to ask to switch rooms and they flat out said no and gave a bad attitude with it. They even refused to give us new sheets and more than 1 bath towel for a room with 2 beds and 4 people in it.

    Dirty towel

The worst hotel I've ever booked with. We booked 2 rooms for two nights, but unfortunately we ended up only staying for one night due to the unexceptional conditions. One of the rooms had blood spots on the wall, door, towel, and lamp. Not only that there was BED BUGS... the other room had moldy window seals and shower handle. The bed sheets/towels were not fully clean. If safety is a priority for you, neither of the rooms had a second lock like most hotels. We didn't stay in our rooms and opted in sleeping in our cars because there was no way we would want to sleep in those beds. I would not recommend staying here.

Quiet motel with gated access to ensure security of guests. Check in was smooth and quick thanks to the efficient lady at the front desk. My room was styled like a bungalow so I did NOT experience overhead noise from other guests stomping their feet in rooms above. My room also came equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, 43 inch flat screen TV, closet with hangars, hair dryer, a wooden desk and chair. There is a 7 eleven, staples store, sushi restaurant and Cadillac as well as Range Rover dealership close by! My dislikes with this place are they charge a $20 cash deposit at check in, there is no swimming pool and fitness center. The refrigerator was smelly and there was no telephone, alarm clock, ironing board and iron in my room. Also I saw a roach in the bathroom.

Walking through the hallways and rooms feels like visiting a museum, thanks to the gorgeous vintage paintings and historic photos adorning the walls. The outdoor gardens are also exceptionally lovely and well-maintained. The service was attentive throughout our stay. The rooms are comfortable, elegant, and very well-furnished. If you are traveling with a little one, this place is fantastic. They went out of their way to make us comfortable by providing a baby crib, a mini-fridge, and a microwave. While it is a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown areas, it's not an issue at all--there are tons of great DoorDash options nearby for quick and easy food delivery. Overall, it's a stunning, historic property with top-notch hospitality. Highly recommend, whether you're attending an event or just looking for a relaxing getaway!

Everyone was attentive, gracious, and accommodating, and that definitely deserves recognition. We actually opted to purchase a $150 bottle rather than pay $109 package & receive one glass each, which made more sense for our group. But the **food?** That's where things fell flat. The sandwiches were bland and, unfortunately, quite dry. I know it's probably unfair to compare Afternoon Tea at The Langham Pasadena to High Tea at the Ritz in London... **but I'm going to anyway.** Once you've experienced tea at that level, expectations are high. The presentation was beautiful, but I felt like they were **trying to do too much, and in the process, did too little.** There were so many elements that seemed designed to impress visually, but the actual flavors just weren't there. The standout for me was actually this adorable little dessert that looked like a **baby taco**. That was probably my favorite bite of the entire experience. Ultimately, I'm glad I went because spending the afternoon with my friends made it fun and memorable. But if I'm being completely honest, **I wouldn't return for the High Tea, and I wouldn't recommend it unless you're more interested in the experience and setting than the food itself.** The Langham is gorgeous, the service was wonderful, and the company was fantastic--but when the **food is underwhelming and the price is overwhelming**, that's a tough sell for me. **Beautiful afternoon. Great friends. Lovely service. Just not great tea.**

Everything felt thoughtfully designed and well maintained. There's a bistro, bar, and restaurant right on site, which made things super convenient. I had a breakfast bowl at the bistro and it was really tasty. Parking was reasonable at $18/day with in-and-out privileges, which is hard to find in this area. The next morning, prior to check out, I inquired about a 2 bed room and was told that they had one but, I would have to wait until the afternoon. I had an important appointment across town that I needed to keep so, I left to get to the appointment and expected to get back to the hotel around the time that the room became available. Unfortunately, I encountered serious vehicle issues and was not able to get back to the hotel. I also did not want to get stuck in the dark trying to get across town to the hotel. I tried to call the hotel later that evening but, it just kept ringing and ringing, until it timed out, and I was never able to reach anyone. Early the next morning (April 26th), I tried calling again but, it still just kept ringing until it timed out. I was finally able to physically go to the hotel and speak with Mary a bit after 2am. She told me that I would have to wait until after 9:30 or 10 am and speak with David, the GM. I called at 11:21 am and told another man there what happened and he told me to speak with David at 3pm. I spoke with David at 3:29pm and told him that I had planned to be there when the room was ready but, I had serious vehicle issues and no way to get to the hotel. I mentioned that I tried to call, no one answered, and that I finally spoke with Mary, who told me that I had to speak with him. He said that Mary starts at 11pm and I should have called sooner. I explained that had I not been stuck across town without transportation and dealing with serious vehicle issues, I would have but, I did try to communicate as soon as I could. I told him that I just wanted to be able to stay for one night to use the one night for which I paid. It is unfortunate because, even though this place was not the best, most well kept hotel, it was conveniently located and most of the staff, up to this point, seemed nice enough. At this point, I have no interest in ever staying here again. I would just like a full refund.

No sign saying that on the elevator. No explanation from the front desk about the elevator. Usually, you only need the key card if your on the top floor. The front desk explained pool hours and directions. The lobby itself is a vibe; moody but cozy, featuring cool touches like vintage telephone booths, table games, a welcoming fireplace with comfy seating, and a small bar offering coffee early and cocktails later. Food: Before heading up, I stopped by BBAD (connected breakfast burrito spot). Highly recommend! The Pool: Arriving early on Sunday meant I had the whole rooftop and pool to myself for almost two magical hours. The warm, overcast morning and occasional chorus from Pasadena's parrots made it a perfect self-care escape: reading, napping, swimming laps. It did get busier closer to noon (maybe five others until then), but still felt relaxed compared to other weekend days. Or so I've heard. Drink/food service starts at noon, delivered poolside. The Spicy Margarita was delicious! Facilities: Clean space, restrooms close by, surprisingly soft towels. Con: No free water stations which is unusual for a hotel pool. Only bottled water for sale, so bring your own. Overall: My Sunday escape was top notch! I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend for solo self-care or a chill day with friends.
