Welp, looked clean at first until the bugs started coming out. I was given a room on the first floor.

We have visited many times each new year The staff makes us feel likely family Location location this place is perfection for service food and an awesome view of the rose parade

Bathroom that doesn't shut all the way

You get what you pay for. Not terrible though. Breakfast came in clutch, front desk was fast, and showers were hot. It's just like an apartment, when people are walking in the hallways and closing the doors... yes you can hear it. But once you're in your room and they're in their room.. you can't hear a peep! A lot of traffic on our way to universal but the area felt pretty safe and that was most important to me.

7th Stay here. Finally stayed on that first floor room which is a special wheelchair access room; don't do it folks, the noise from the hallway, you hear everyone; yes everyone on the floors above has to pass thru to get in and out. Really could help with some sound dampening under and on the door to drown out not just the closing of the outside facing door but also the hallway noise and room directly above you will hear noise from. Staff- as always is nice and efficient in their jobs. Rooms- see my description above; I have to say I do prefer the other rooms restrooms Food- Breakfast, standard eggs, sausage, waffle, cereal, oj, milk, yogurt. PRO TIP make a breakfast sandwich with the supplied items Price for a Thursday night stay $137

    Super relaxing !!!

Walking through the hallways and rooms feels like visiting a museum, thanks to the gorgeous vintage paintings and historic photos adorning the walls. The outdoor gardens are also exceptionally lovely and well-maintained. The service was attentive throughout our stay. The rooms are comfortable, elegant, and very well-furnished. If you are traveling with a little one, this place is fantastic. They went out of their way to make us comfortable by providing a baby crib, a mini-fridge, and a microwave. While it is a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown areas, it's not an issue at all--there are tons of great DoorDash options nearby for quick and easy food delivery. Overall, it's a stunning, historic property with top-notch hospitality. Highly recommend, whether you're attending an event or just looking for a relaxing getaway!

Everyone was attentive, gracious, and accommodating, and that definitely deserves recognition. We actually opted to purchase a $150 bottle rather than pay $109 package & receive one glass each, which made more sense for our group. But the **food?** That's where things fell flat. The sandwiches were bland and, unfortunately, quite dry. I know it's probably unfair to compare Afternoon Tea at The Langham Pasadena to High Tea at the Ritz in London... **but I'm going to anyway.** Once you've experienced tea at that level, expectations are high. The presentation was beautiful, but I felt like they were **trying to do too much, and in the process, did too little.** There were so many elements that seemed designed to impress visually, but the actual flavors just weren't there. The standout for me was actually this adorable little dessert that looked like a **baby taco**. That was probably my favorite bite of the entire experience. Ultimately, I'm glad I went because spending the afternoon with my friends made it fun and memorable. But if I'm being completely honest, **I wouldn't return for the High Tea, and I wouldn't recommend it unless you're more interested in the experience and setting than the food itself.** The Langham is gorgeous, the service was wonderful, and the company was fantastic--but when the **food is underwhelming and the price is overwhelming**, that's a tough sell for me. **Beautiful afternoon. Great friends. Lovely service. Just not great tea.**

I had a breakfast bowl at the bistro and it was really tasty. Parking was reasonable at $18/day with in-and-out privileges, which is hard to find in this area. Like you would see in a handicap room, even though we didn't request that. King bed had plenty of room and the room included a chaise lounge as well. Now the negatives - The bed was harder than expected and made for uncomfortable sleeping. Their signage is terrible. When I first got on the elevator it went down even though I pressed the 3rd floor button. I tried a couple times, when another guest said you have to scan your room key then select the floor. No sign saying that on the elevator. No explanation from the front desk about the elevator. Usually, you only need the key card if your on the top floor. Even if the hotel is setup different you need to explain it at check in or provide signs! Same night I went to fill the ice bucket. Followed the sign, it pointed down the hall. I walked all the way to the end no ice machine. Then walked back, saw a different sign pointing the opposite way so I walked all the way to the end, guess what? NO ICE MACHINE!! I walked back to the Elevators thinking there was a sign pointing to another floor. NOPE! Then I hear the ice machine motor kick in so I know I'm close. Turns out to be inside a closet WITH NO SIGN AND A DOOR! Come on. That's just ridiculous. It felt like an episode of Where's Waldo. It shouldn't that hard to find ice! It's not a treasure hunt.

Pasadena Hotel is officially one of my top picks! Parking: Self-parking is available for $5/hour (max $35). Note: no validation. Check-in: Quick and friendly. The front desk explained pool hours and directions. The lobby itself is a vibe; moody but cozy, featuring cool touches like vintage telephone booths, table games, a welcoming fireplace with comfy seating, and a small bar offering coffee early and cocktails later. Food: Before heading up, I stopped by BBAD (connected breakfast burrito spot). Highly recommend! The Pool: Arriving early on Sunday meant I had the whole rooftop and pool to myself for almost two magical hours. The warm, overcast morning and occasional chorus from Pasadena's parrots made it a perfect self-care escape: reading, napping, swimming laps. It did get busier closer to noon (maybe five others until then), but still felt relaxed compared to other weekend days. Or so I've heard. Drink/food service starts at noon, delivered poolside. The Spicy Margarita was delicious! Facilities: Clean space, restrooms close by, surprisingly soft towels. Con: No free water stations which is unusual for a hotel pool. Only bottled water for sale, so bring your own. Overall: My Sunday escape was top notch! I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend for solo self-care or a chill day with friends.
