    King bed room

I like this place. It doesn't have bums roaming around and it's not loud. Clean room and doesn't smell like stale rags or musty. Ac is not central. A lot of parking. Had a great easy check in . Room is spacious for king bed. I recommend this hotel. They also have another Best Western right beside it so make sure you are at the right address. I'd absolutely stay here again

Hands down, 5stars. Let's start at the beginning- excellent customer service from the moment we arrived until departing. Although we didn't interact with many, every single interaction was with friendly staff members. The room was clean, fresh, everything worked, and we even got free slippers!!!!!!!! The area was quiet, safe, and the parking lot was well lit. The complimentary breakfast included: eggs, sausage, blueberry pancakes, make-your-own waffles, apples and bananas, cereal and pastries, as well as several beverage options like coffee at the press of a button(I was skeptical too, friends, but it was pretty good coffee!) There's even a spa, but we didn't try it out! We'd check this place out again and use the jacuzzi spa for sure!

This pleasant little hotel sits on world famous Colorado Blvd in the beautiful city of Pasadena, CA. Not to be confused with the section of Colorado Blvd that we see every New Years Day on TV, but Colorado Blvd nonetheless. I'm in town for one night because I'm running in the Pasadena Half Marathon in the morning and I despise the early morning commute to a race on race day. I found a sweet deal on Booking.com because I don't feel I need to spend a lot of money on a 1 night pre-race hotel when I'm getting up at 4:00am and checking out by 5:00. This is not a high-end hotel. It is, however, far from being a dump. For $99 I really cannot ask for anything more. It was easy to find, quiet, and appears to be either newly renovated or a fairly new. The room was clean and adequately appointed with a comfy king sized bed, DIRECTV, a small fridge, single serve coffee maker, full size ironing board and iron. No microwave though. The young lady working was nice and check-in was quick, easy AND early. Plenty of parking with security cameras for added comfort, a pool and hot tub, and free breakfast in the morning, too. The Best Western Pasadena Inn suited my needs perfectly. I enjoyed my less than 24 hours stay and would consider staying here again for next years race. 5/100

Bed BUGS! Watch OUT! I will never stay at this hotel again!

Walking through the hallways and rooms feels like visiting a museum, thanks to the gorgeous vintage paintings and historic photos adorning the walls. The outdoor gardens are also exceptionally lovely and well-maintained. The service was attentive throughout our stay. The rooms are comfortable, elegant, and very well-furnished. If you are traveling with a little one, this place is fantastic. They went out of their way to make us comfortable by providing a baby crib, a mini-fridge, and a microwave. While it is a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown areas, it's not an issue at all--there are tons of great DoorDash options nearby for quick and easy food delivery. Overall, it's a stunning, historic property with top-notch hospitality. Highly recommend, whether you're attending an event or just looking for a relaxing getaway!

Everyone was attentive, gracious, and accommodating, and that definitely deserves recognition. We actually opted to purchase a $150 bottle rather than pay $109 package & receive one glass each, which made more sense for our group. But the **food?** That's where things fell flat. The sandwiches were bland and, unfortunately, quite dry. I know it's probably unfair to compare Afternoon Tea at The Langham Pasadena to High Tea at the Ritz in London... **but I'm going to anyway.** Once you've experienced tea at that level, expectations are high. The presentation was beautiful, but I felt like they were **trying to do too much, and in the process, did too little.** There were so many elements that seemed designed to impress visually, but the actual flavors just weren't there. The standout for me was actually this adorable little dessert that looked like a **baby taco**. That was probably my favorite bite of the entire experience. Ultimately, I'm glad I went because spending the afternoon with my friends made it fun and memorable. But if I'm being completely honest, **I wouldn't return for the High Tea, and I wouldn't recommend it unless you're more interested in the experience and setting than the food itself.** The Langham is gorgeous, the service was wonderful, and the company was fantastic--but when the **food is underwhelming and the price is overwhelming**, that's a tough sell for me. **Beautiful afternoon. Great friends. Lovely service. Just not great tea.**

Everything felt thoughtfully designed and well maintained. There's a bistro, bar, and restaurant right on site, which made things super convenient. I had a breakfast bowl at the bistro and it was really tasty. Parking was reasonable at $18/day with in-and-out privileges, which is hard to find in this area. Another bonus: tons of food spots and spa services within walking distance. It's also an easy drive to Pasadena for shopping or a visit to the Huntington Gardens. Overall, this place exceeded expectations. Calm, comfortable, and convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

The next morning, prior to check out, I inquired about a 2 bed room and was told that they had one but, I would have to wait until the afternoon. I had an important appointment across town that I needed to keep so, I left to get to the appointment and expected to get back to the hotel around the time that the room became available. Unfortunately, I encountered serious vehicle issues and was not able to get back to the hotel. I also did not want to get stuck in the dark trying to get across town to the hotel. I tried to call the hotel later that evening but, it just kept ringing and ringing, until it timed out, and I was never able to reach anyone. Early the next morning (April 26th), I tried calling again but, it still just kept ringing until it timed out. I was finally able to physically go to the hotel and speak with Mary a bit after 2am. She told me that I would have to wait until after 9:30 or 10 am and speak with David, the GM. I called at 11:21 am and told another man there what happened and he told me to speak with David at 3pm. I spoke with David at 3:29pm and told him that I had planned to be there when the room was ready but, I had serious vehicle issues and no way to get to the hotel. I mentioned that I tried to call, no one answered, and that I finally spoke with Mary, who told me that I had to speak with him. He said that Mary starts at 11pm and I should have called sooner. I explained that had I not been stuck across town without transportation and dealing with serious vehicle issues, I would have but, I did try to communicate as soon as I could. I told him that I just wanted to be able to stay for one night to use the one night for which I paid. It is unfortunate because, even though this place was not the best, most well kept hotel, it was conveniently located and most of the staff, up to this point, seemed nice enough. At this point, I have no interest in ever staying here again. I would just like a full refund.

Pasadena Hotel is officially one of my top picks! Parking: Self-parking is available for $5/hour (max $35). Note: no validation. Check-in: Quick and friendly. The front desk explained pool hours and directions. The lobby itself is a vibe; moody but cozy, featuring cool touches like vintage telephone booths, table games, a welcoming fireplace with comfy seating, and a small bar offering coffee early and cocktails later. Food: Before heading up, I stopped by BBAD (connected breakfast burrito spot). Highly recommend! The Pool: Arriving early on Sunday meant I had the whole rooftop and pool to myself for almost two magical hours. The warm, overcast morning and occasional chorus from Pasadena's parrots made it a perfect self-care escape: reading, napping, swimming laps. It did get busier closer to noon (maybe five others until then), but still felt relaxed compared to other weekend days. Or so I've heard. Drink/food service starts at noon, delivered poolside. The Spicy Margarita was delicious! Facilities: Clean space, restrooms close by, surprisingly soft towels. Con: No free water stations which is unusual for a hotel pool. Only bottled water for sale, so bring your own. Overall: My Sunday escape was top notch! I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend for solo self-care or a chill day with friends.
