I've also never played where sand traps have railroad ties on the side of them. The party ahead of us was a five some. I hit a ball over two hundred and seventy yards down the fairway, and it went over the slope the five son circled back and apparently picked up my ball. They run the sprinklers down the fairway.So when you do hit a ball, you have to wait for the sprinklers, to clear, run out, grab your ball and take it off to the side. Everything looked new, carpet, TV, etc. The no door, walk in shower was great. We had a beautiful view of the golf course. Checkin was easy and staff was super helpful in giving us a quick overview. Next the gambling We mostly played craps and had a great experience. The table staff was funny and chatty. The first night we played by ourselves. The next two times there were a few people at the table enjoying the fun. We won a little but had a lot of fun. Now the golf The course is a links type layout so no trees and long grass. The forward tees were about 5200 yards which is a good distance. I even got a birdie on #8 which never happens. Cart had GPS. Range balls are included in your green fees. The greens, fairways, and tee boxes were in great shape. Lots of workers on the course making sure it was well maintained. I really enjoyed playing the course and we played in about 3.5 hours. And finally food We ate in Ruthie's which I rated separately. We also had breakfast in the cafe which was just ok. First day I had a latte and the caramel cinnamon rolls. Second day the fruit and a toasted bagel. I did love that they offered to warm up the rolls and toast the bagel. Staff was great.

Had a golf ball hit a windshield where the hole is lined up right next to the road with no netting or any warnings about how their golf course is lined right next to a very busy road with no protection whatsoever, the clubhouse told me to call the owner Farrell so I did and before I could even explain to him what happened to ask what the process was he immediately started yelling in the phone "who gave you my number!" And "maybe you should be a better golfer" (for context I've broken 80 multiple times, I'm not the worst golfer) he the goes on to mention how this year alone 20+ windshields have been broken on the hole which proves that there needs to be some sort of warning or protection. Even though all the laws and everything supports them being at fault he just continued to yell through the phone (very professional) I didn't want to leave the lady with a broken windshield so I paid for it anyways because he wasn't going to, I didnt call for them to pay for it, I just called him because this obviously happens all the time and I jus wanted to know what to do in the situation. The owner then started puffing his chest on the phone talking about how he can beat me in golf, it's honestly laughable the way he acted as an old old man. The owner was absolutely rude and basically called us liars, said we didn't make a deposit and he could've made more money booking the room for a home Husker game. I would not recommend hosting a party at this venue! Sad for South Sioux City to have owners treat customers so poorly.
