The campground has a beautiful view of the hills across the lake (beautiful sunsets). The lake is calm and warm most days. WC's always dirty. 2- Very out dated and likely does not comply with current building code.(Possible safety concern) 3- Be prepared to be charged for every little thing and twice the going rates. (Nickel and Dime) 4- Very cramped site.(Shove then in and take your money) 5- Staff unfriendly and rude. 6- RULES and more RULES. If you like rules; Lots and lots of them, then this is the site for you. WOW I think this is governance gone crazy. Don't shower too long, don't use too much water, don't walk here, not this type of dog, don't, don't, don't, don't.....etc. All I can say is wow, who needs a new mommy or daddy to tell you what you can and cannot do- all the time. I think we paid for the use of water and if people are waiting too long for a shower maybe it's because you do not have enough (Build more). We did pay more than a reasonable rate and oh yes you crammed us in like sardines. 7- Rude staff (Very) 8- They take your money and then...... I do not suggest bringing dogs to this site. Not dog friendly at all. No beach access for dogs. ANOTHER RULE: Dogs cannot be left at campsite BUT they cannot go to the beach hmmm. So what should an owner do? Bias against many breeds of dogs. I do not recommend. Do your homework and I suggest spending your hard earned dollars somewhere else, where they will appreciate you as a customer. If you need a new mommy or daddy and want more rules then this is the place for you. Contest: see if you can count all the RULES as you walk around this place (Bring a thick note pad) RULE for Todds RV and Camping: Build more washrooms and treat us like paying customers who you care about.

Amenities are good, nice tree coverage. Has all the things for camping (showers, laundry, firewood,…read moreetc), but get the $ out for it. Prices are reasonable. However, gestapo type rule monitoring can be improved. Example. My kids rent the clubhouse, and a sign is on the floor saying no drinks on ping pong table. We set two empty cups, and rather than having the sign visible, they close the table. There is a strong preference for decent customer service. They miss the mark. Hire friendly staff. The gestapo approach ended in the 40's. An addendum. After our two year olds birthday party ended, we cleaned the clubhouse and back to our camping sites. We do notice that 11 pm is quiet time, so we had a couple acoustic guitars out and playing and singing around 10:15 pm. No amplification, nothing like Emerson drive playing outdoors at the pub next door. Camp lady comes by and says it's quiet time and if we continue, in another 5 mins some one will come by to scale up their demand. We look at the rules, 11 pm. I think this place makes up rules as they feel fit by junior staff thinking they are making a positive contribution. Maybe this is just a place of nearly dead's with million dollar coaches and boats. In summary, don't do a kids party here. And if you all like to have beers and sing and make some music, find a better place. Rules are unclear, and the staff are pretty poor at handling guests.

Camping in the Okanagan at it's finest…read more As we loose more and more campgrounds in the Okanagan to the development industry, I'd consider this a hidden gem. Many lots for your selection and they have utilized every space they can to allow for as many campers as they can to be able to enjoy nature right here in Lake Counyry!! Amazing staff was the first thing I noticed, always available to assist!! Then I found clean bathrooms and showers and laundry to boot!! Many sites have big trees creating ample shade that is required in the Okanagan heat!! Awesome dog park area that is well kept for our furry friends to have fun and make friends of there own!! Sites we have visited Site 75 -ample shade - right across from bathroom and laundry - backed right onto the creek where we enjoyed the ducks every morning and night Site 67 - right beside the entrance to the dog park which is great for your pups -behind another set of bathrooms which again were immaculately kept for a camp ground -fencing all down the one side and back that gave you a little more privacy than some sites Site 170 -right beside the back entrance/exit and surprisingly enough the traffic in and out didn't bother us one bit -fencing down one side and back again for a little more privacy -we found this site to be a hidden gem tucked in the back part of the park even though it had no trees for shade between the fence and the awning and trailer we were just fine - loved the size of the nook that we had for our picnic table and stuff!! This corner lot gives you a little more room and privacy!! Lot 77 -once again right across from the laundry and bathrooms - backed into the creek that runs through so just a cool space to enjoy some peace with nature and it's sounds it offers!! So over all I'd rate this as a 5 star or above!!

The park is mostly permanents but they have rules and although the residents aren't there during the off months, their rigs and sites are perfect. The transient sites are right on the beach. A bit pricey but worth it.
