Best Chinese style food with great sushi selection and a Mongolian style area for your own selection of your choice of meats!

This Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet is located in a relatively spacious building structure with an extensive all-you-can-eat food items, including all types of chicken, beef, pork, fish, and seafood selections. Besides this, it has a small salad bar area, Hibachi area, Sushi area, and a very small dessert area with a selection of ice creams as well. The decor of the place is nothing fancy nor modernized and many of the furniture are a bit run down. The "make believe" what looks like a fountain, without water, in the entrance is nothing to brag about and the artwork on the wall look kind of cheap. As one enters the restaurant there is an order and pay counter where a person who seems like the manager gives you a warm greeting with a smile and efficiently takes your order, charges you and has one of the hosts take you to your booth. The price for the buffet is not too expensive and considering the large selection of food items available, this may be what continues to attract many people to eat at this place. We decided to eat here today because other buffets and opened restaurants around had a wait of more than an hour. Once you're seated at your booth, a server is assigned to bring you your drink and refills, and to remove your empty dishes once you finish eating what's on them. We had a very friendly and efficient young man who was always coming around to check on us with a smile and providing exceptional customer service. Now, if we talk about the food, which is the main reason one goes to a restaurant in the first place, leaves much to be desired. The quality of many of the items available is very poor and/or not cooked well. The turkey slices served were dry and not to fresh as well as many of the seafood items were lukewarm and not freshly served. The fried shrimps were crunchy and warm, however they were flat and not plumpy. The Sesame Chicken seemed to have more batter than meat. Even the squid looked and tasted cheap and was not warm. The Sushi Bar had a few variety of Suchi but they lacked craftsmanship. So much so that I didn't even dare to try one, and the employees working that station didn't encourage me either when they saw me there. In the Hibachi area, I noticed that the grill was not too cleanand the cook manding this area did not accommodate me when I asked if I could add two eggs to my items before he served them. If management addresses some of the above issues I mentioned, I think this Buffet restaurant will have a better chance to successfully grow its clientele and not lose many. I invite all of you reading my review to go experience for yourself if they have followed my recommendations, and this can only be done by trying you out. read more

I had lunch there today. As I paid for my lunch, the guy at the register kept going on about politics. And he definitely did not have anything positive to say. He was pretty foul mouthed about it. Now he's entitled to his opinion one way or the other, but I'm there to have lunch and forget about that mess for an hour. Then I figure if he's allowed to run his mouth, so am I. So about the third time he starts on the same tirade, I tell him he ought to keep his opinions to himself. He says, "You got a problem? Sorry I mean enjoy your lunch." And he keeps smiling and yelling that to me repeatedly as the server escorts me to my table, until I'm out of sight. After I finish eating, as I'm leaving, he yells to me "Have a nice day." I don't even look at him. I have my sunglasses on. As I'm walking out the door, he adds, "Or don't." I'm outside halfway down the parking lot to my car, and he literally sticks his head out the door. He left his position behind the counter and walked all the way outside to yell at me more. He says, "Take a picture. It'll last longer." I run back inside and he starts yelling at me again. "Oh what? You want to fight me now", he says. I go right past him to one of the other employees and ask for a manager. He screams, "I am the manager." I say, "Okay, let me speak to the owner." He says, "The owner never comes here." Meanwhile, the other employees are asking me what's wrong and asking me how they can help. He says, "Don't bother with them. None of them speak English." They are, at that moment, speaking to me in English. I walk back over to him and ask his name. He says Johnathan. He asks my name, I say Joseph. I ask his last name and he says Jonathan Joseph. There's a lot of customers waiting in line to pay by now. And he looks at me and says, "Why you giving me that look? A look like that, you either want to fight me or have sex with me." I ask him why he'd say that in front of all these customers (mostly Hispanic and Asian descent), and he says, "None of them speak English anyway." I look at the customers and say, "So none of you speak English? Is that true? He just said that about you." A younger fellow next me exhales, rolls his eyes, and says to me, "Don't worry about it." So I turn to leave, and he says, "I hope your day gets better." I reply, "I hope your life gets better." And all of this happened in front of dozens of customers during the lunch rush. This place used to be a favorite because of food quality, quantity and diversity. It has really gone downhill. In past visits, I would walk through copious banks of steamer trays, trying some familiar and some new items. This visit, there was a sign at the register (pay on the way in) stating that due to tariffs, quantities are down and selection was reduced. They weren't kidding. There were at least four banks of steamer trays empty. There was still plenty of good staples, and for the most part the taste was decent. But some was Luke warm, and for the most part the oriental taste was missing. The hot and sour soup was neither. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The ambiance was factory-like, but clean. Was it worth the $15.95 fee? Well, I left full and I didn't get a stomach ache. Recommended for quantity, not quality. read more

Today was much better. It was cleaner and I got a water to be on the safe side with avoiding the diet and regular soda problem. I did straight hibachi today and it was good. I asked for spicy and it was perfect for me but way too spicy for anyone else. I think the spice level in heat was 4/5 today. Overall I give the experience a 4/5. They slimmed down the offerings and some of the food had not been replenished. Didn't affect me much because I did only hibachi but even the meats in there were almost gone. read more

Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet gets the job done when it comes to Chinese-hibachi buffets. The restaurant is nothing fancy, but it is spacious with a huge buffet and lots of seating options. The wait staff are friendly and are always busy making sure patrons are getting refills on their drinks. The hibachi grill is a welcome feature with a variety of vegetables, noodles, rice, and meat options. It used to feature shrimp as an option, but they no longer offer it, which I find personally disappointing. The buffet has all of the expected Americanized-Chinese items such as Eggrolls, General Tso's Chicken, Hot and Sour Soup, and so on. It used to feature Frog Legs and Crawfish, but it no longer offers them, which is another personal disappointment of mine. The sushi bar is an added bonus, which serves a variety of popular Americanized sushi. I prefer authentic Japanese sushi such as various types of Nigiri and Sashimi, but I do enjoy Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet's Spicy Crab Rolls. Definitely a place I'd come back to; everything was cooked well, people were nice, and more importantly, food was delicious!

Arrived shortly after opening . Staff was friendly and attentive.Tried a variety of the food and everything was fresh and good. Buffet was kept stocked and hot. Liked the shrimp which were huge, pepper chicken and ribs the most. The sushi was decent, egg roll was not that great. Overall was worth the money, will return. So far the best out of all the Asian buffets I've been to in Virginia (and I've been to a few). Service is really great, the servers are actually friendly and check on you (they don't do this at most of the other Asian buffets in this state) and the food was all fresh, especially the sushi. The variety was also pretty great, and nothing was overly oily or greasy. Left very full and quite happy, served as my sole meal for the day haha. read more

So this is what I call a F&L. First and last. The food was not good at all. Very greasy and poor quality. The sesame chicken looked just like pieces of breading no chicken. it's a joke. The sushi is terrible and taste old. There is not much of a selection to choose from for sushi or any other menu items. I can get better sushi from the grocery store that is less then 1/8 mile down the road at a reasonable price!!! They are way overpriced for what they are trying to feed the public. The owner needs to visit a real hibachi grill to see what real sushi is!!! They make you pay before you eat because they think you might walk out once you see what you are paying for. I wanted to like this place and hoped to have a memorable experience. It was memorable alright, but for how disappointing it was. I have to say upfront that their hibachi grill was the only thing worth trying, except for their fortune cookies, and I'm dead serious here. Let's start with the grill. I liked how fresh and crisp all the veggies were, from green capsicum and mushrooms to brown onions and broccoli. The white rice and egg noodles were fine, as were the protein options like eggs, marinated steak, and sausages. The grill chef was quick and efficient, and I liked the different sauces available. We tried garlic sauce and soy sauce and they were fine. Now it was all downhill from there. I like that the staff did a great job of cleaning up the buffet sections, but the food was really not up to scratch in my opinion: - Sushi: cooked tuna had an almost slimey texture and it ruined the roll for me, and I'm usually a cooked tuna roll fan. There was one roll bigger than others and that had crabmeat, cooked tuna, avocado, cucumber, and cream cheese all literally rolled into one, and that was the only sushi remotely worth trying. - Music: during the short time we were eating, the music went from Chinese - top 40 from late 2010s - Korean - country - then the "happy birthday" song complete with claps. I personally liked the miso soup, beef and broccoli, and mixed veggies, but the rest were not interesting enough. Was I expecting another Sushi On? For the price, obviously not, but I still expected to find at least a handful of things to keep going back for, but this place didn't deliver that. And the pricing - $10.69 per person (not $10.00, not $11.00)? Great job with hibachi, but next time I'd rather stick with somewhere else. read more

Hibachi is way overpriced for what you get. The chicken skewers, well not on a skewer anymore, but it was hard and dried out. The crab meat had a funny taste and the bathrooms was dirty. Went to this place with a group of friends recently and I had honey chicken and sesame chicken, the flavors was spot on but the texture was found lacking it was stringy and kinda tough. I stopped here about 315. It was after the normal lunch crowd but before dinner. We ordered the buffet under lunch hours. During this time they were switching things out for dinner menu items but it was identified what was now dinner and what was still lunch. The food was ok. There was several items I got and the food wasn't warm. Also my friend accidentally got shrimp which apparently was on the dinner menu. After he peeling and eating several off the plate the waitress came over and took the remainder saying he couldn't have it because it was on the dinner buffet not lunch. He said ok and got up to get another plate and the waitress was placing the shrimp on his plate back into the buffet. We literally watched them do this. 10/10 would recommend if you want some Asian food. It's a great variety and price for the value. I've been to many Chinese Buffets and this one is clean with good customer service. The waiters actually come and check on you. I always leave a good tip when I have an attentive waiter. I've only had one experience where the waitress wasn't checking up on me. So i went in on the night Jan 13th for my little sisters birthday. I am on crutches right there water all over these floors from where the waiters carry there drink around and the plates i slipped on the water and fell on the floor reminder im on crutches because i have a knee injury i slipped several times but only fell that once. The bathrooms are nasty there is water all over the floor in there all the trash cans in the bathroom are over flowing theirs toilet paper and paper towels every where and the floors look like they haven't been mopped or swept in months the food and the service was amazing but the quality of this restaurant is terrible.
