A house? A meeting place? I was in love with the wooden ceiling of the main room, adorned with beautiful chandeliers, but my love stopped there. The rest of the place was pretty average. It was kind of too big of a space for the shower I went to, but I can see this being a good spot for a cozy wedding reception. While this place isn't quite my taste, it is definitely a beautiful spot to consider for a wedding, party, reunion, gathering, what-have-you.

Then we had charcuterie cups filled with crackers, nuts, chocolate, fruit, salami, and cheese. A bit overpriced for what they were but glad to have something snackie. We also had a flight of mimosas, and finished off the day by making a beautiful Bouquet of fresh flowers. They did have pancake vendor as well. I didn't try it since I wanted a savory snack. I wish the food choices were advertised better. It was a small sheet of paper on a table. I didn't even know that the 3 additional food options existed until someone told me where I had to go to find this piece of paper. Other than that, it was a great time had by all in my group.

This is our second year going we went to the original and it was so fun. We decided to do again and they did not disappoint. They brought up their game by 10 points. Don't sleep on these little Park district activities. Sometimes they turn out to be the funnest not only do you get a beautiful view of the Crystal Lake and all its amenities but we had food and activities. They really went all out. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked. There was plenty of food to go all the way around with all the food trucks and as always, the park is clean and easy to navigate.

Element's pieces made a statement, that had our whole family and friends in awe. I knew we had to have Elements Preserved pieces for the Wedding day as well. It is absolutely worth the effort to go in person and see the warehouse in its entirety. Beth's eye for detail and creative mind really is present in the beautiful space. The moments in her warehouse alongside my-then Fiance brought the most excitement and warmth when choosing which items to rent. Truly fine-tuning our aesthetic,our personality, our love story and finding items that reflected who we are. Throughout our wedding we had moments with each other where we could look over and see those pieces scattered through our cocktail hour and reception that made the biggest impact.
