Great water pressure, good electrical service, and great sewer hook ups. There are a lot of seasonals here, however with so many seasonals, you would expect it to be noisy during the summer and it's not at all. I asked for a site where there weren't a lot of trees and they were very accommodating. The site that we had wasn't as level as I would've liked it and probably I would've given them five stars if the sites were little more level.

The current owner just took over shortly before we began camping at T and C. It was lovely ...at first. The location was great being far enough from home but close enough that travel time wasn't bad. Amish farms were close and great produce available. Now the bad....I probably don't have enough room to write. In our time there I used the public shower and bathroom.....once ... You can guess why. When a tree fell and crushed a few campers and our awning and deck....owners didn't care. Gradually the place declined and it was time to sell. Now the owners are concerned about algae in the lake. It's been bad forever. Nothing new here. Roads are dirt and gravel is sparse. When the pipeline was going through lots were rented to them and no weekenders were permitted because a substantial amount of money was being paid for those lots and it was profitable. I could go on and on, but I'll stop here with a buyer beware warning. It's different strokes for different folks. I would not return to T and C for numerous reasons. Edit: And now the delusional owner seems to think she asked us to leave. Couldn't be further from the truth. And I don't have the time or desire to stalk your page. Oh wait...have your kids write reviews to increase your rating that should work. so for anyone considering this place....as I said buyer beware. We loved the trash pick up, the wood drop off and the convenience of booking our rafting trip on site. The campground offered many amenities, and you can tell the staff take pride in the campground. That said, the layout of the campground could use some improvement. Unfortunately, the restrooms are placed in a way that encourages other campers to cut directly through campsites to get to them. We had multiple situations where kids were running up the hill into our site and even coming around our camper and truck, which was unsettling, especially since the parents weren't paying attention. It left us feeling pretty uncomfortable and put a damper on what could have been a perfect experience.

When we arrived, we were told there was an issue with the spot we had reserved so they would be putting us in a different spot. That spot would not work for our needs so they offered a different site again. While driving to the new spot, we saw someone else camping in the spot we had initially reserved! We tried but The spot offered didn't really fit our rig so we just decided to move on. They were very kind and offered a refund. The grounds looked well kept and peaceful. I know it can be difficult to hire "good help" but it's quite frustrating when they are disorganized in a fashion that creates these types of issues for the customers.

The welcome center seemed brand new and was really well done, with a small museum, plus access to the campground and tons of cabins available to rent. The hiking here is incredible. We did the Hemlock Gorge Trail, and it was just the right level of challenge while still being super enjoyable. The scenery was beautiful the entire way. I also highly recommend checking out the Little and Big Lyons waterfalls. It made for a great loop trail and was definitely a highlight. The park itself is very well maintained. We visited right after some heavy winds, so there were quite a few downed trees, but maintenance was already out there actively clearing and fixing things, which was impressive to see. Overall, such a beautiful park and a trip full of unforgettable memories.

The camp host, John, was extremely helpful on providing where to find the nearest gas station. He offered me food and welcomed me in. He's the prime example of genuine hospitality. We slept on the ground in sleeping bags. There were a lot of people making noise until about 12:30am, playing music, singing, talking and yelling. The showers were not great but fine for a campground. I went to bed around 2am when everything had died down. Around 7am, some banging started like there might be a shooting range nearby. In the morning, I explored the camping area and got some exercise. So much better than a hotel gym! I ran around, shot some hoops, and bounced on their "jumping pillow" which was exactly what I needed before a day of driving. And it was so much cheaper than a hotel room.

They have a covered area where a large crowd could gather and have a cookout, gas grills supplied. Each site has a raised fire pit and nice picnic table. These would be premium sites anywhere else. Nice staff. Very organized. They have a well stocked store with some good snacks too. For anyone wanting to attend church there is a non denominational Christian church on the property. Play areas for the kids with nice equipment. Putting greens. They sell LP. They have a dog wash. This place is in the top few percent of RV resorts. We have stayed all over the US and can't name but a few that are equal. If you want to stay nearby, definitely check this out.

Tip: You can not place rugs on the grass- each site is paved so there really is not a need for one. Note: Restaurants, grocery stores and local attractions are not open on Sunday. When we went they were rushing to get new campsites finished up the day we were pulling in. The…read moresites were muddy and rain was expected. Some campers were stuck and could not leave. Couldn't do anything cause of mud. Roads were poorly maintained. Nothing good about the place. Maybe if they wasn't trying to make more site available on the day people was placed at these sites and it didn't rain. Which they couldn't control but they could have gravel their roads better.
