We completed the process with Melissa, a wonderful professional, whose courtesy left us with no unanswered questions. Soon after, by UPS, two beautifully boxed packages arrived. Each contained a helpful assortment of items including a redwood-like container (urn), as well as an excellent book with planning details. Everything was so well organized. If one of us passes away in another state or even overseas, all arrangements to care for the involved are covered, to return that individual back home. Quality: It's not easy to convey the importance of their quality every step of the way. During our session with Melissa, licensed funeral director Ann introduced herself, which was a nice moment. Value: Everyone has to make up their mind at some point regarding these decisions. To leave these difficult plans to your heirs and your loved ones in my opinion is not the best option. Simply making sure that your plans and wishes are carried out entirely as you want them to be carried out,is a gift; to leave these matters to your family in a time of grief can be avoided by preplanning. My husband and I had made his cremation arrangement 2 yrs ago bc he was ill. My husband passed on Feb 15. I went that week to get his urn. No one called to let me know what happened, Samantha Murray brought out a gold metal urn and a cardboard box bc his ashes didn't fit. She gave no warning of this. I was very upset anyway bc just losing my husband of 44 yrs. They should have called me. So wrong. I was in shock and brought him home. There was a burn smell which was disturbing. I took the plastic off the urn it had 3 dents in it. I wasn't keeping this separation of my sweet husband anyway. I called and picked out a green marble urn. Payed 200.00 more. Picked white lettering. A few days later I went back and the top of the new urn was scratched. Samantha ordered another. A few days later Samantha called me and I could tell something was wrong. The urn had gold lettering instead of white. This was a Wednesday. Samantha said it will be in on Friday. I NEVER heard from Samantha Murray. Saturday I was SO upset. No contact is SO wrong esp aft all Baldwin did. I contacted the home office. If Samantha had just emailed me on Friday to say the had it or didn't have it. On Monday Jennifer brought him to my condo and apologized. This was a 3 week ordeal after losing my husband. To go thru this was SO upsetting. It was horrible and shame on Samantha for not contacting me. I hope this saves anyone from going to this funeral/cremation home. 3 urns destroyed and also they do not have cameras in the area so Samantha said and Jennifer said they were not working.
