I had surgery and it's difficult was difficult to keep walking into the garage, 2 days later Eric arrived as scheduled to replace the new heater, he fixed sit, fixed the wheels that were down on the frig and cleaned up everything. Even though the Appliance Doctor rep said there was nothing wrong with our washer, the same problem continued to occur so we contacted a different repair company who came out, identified the problem in 5 minutes and took pictures of obviously broken parts and gave me a quote for repair. Bottom line; Appliance Doctor failed to identify the problem, collected their fee, and didn't fix the problem. Very dissatisfied with Appliance Doctor and will never use them again.

A few weeks ago my upstairs A/C was being examined at the start of its semi-annual checkup. The associate notified me that the air handler in the attic was dropping its insulation from within, and this would create a problem with continuing the standard semi-annual checkup. This necessitated scheduling an associate on a different day to basically rebuild the air handler. Understandably this was a long project through the day but was completed to our satisfaction. QUALITY: The different associates whom we have seen over a long period of time have been exceptionally professional and courteous. VALUE: Everyone decides what they describe as value. For us it's the confidence that our A/C units will work through the summer and winter year after year. Having a service agreement gives us that peace of mind. SUMMARY: These people have demonstrated exceptional courtesy (every phone call is a new pleasant greeting, every time). One has to have trust in the service people with whom they do business. They were over $1000 less than the cheapest big company. I told them that the price was really much lower, what hidden costs will there be? Nope, the price quoted was the all in price, I spoke with Alex and he just explained that they don't believe in price gouging. Great, well the installation crew was professional, shout out to Adrian for an exceptional install. Since the install, I had a couple of things happen, the first was a vibration in the outside unit, which is right outside my bedroom window. They came out the next day, repositioned the vibration pads and it hummed silently. The new unit is a heat pump and runs so quietly, thanks for the recommendation Alex. Finally with the cold weather I needed the heat. There was a problem with the wiring from the factory in the unit. They again came out the next day, but It was a head scratcher, so the owner of the company, Tyler Voss came out to troubleshoot. He isolated the problem, ordered the replacement board had it in 2 days and now my family is now nice and cozy. I normally don't write reviews, but these guys are really hard workers and did I mention beat the price on the big companies that spend for all of the advertising. More service companies in Florida should take the lead from these guys!

Thanks to Jason! He saved me at LEAST a couple hundred dollars and I now have a washer that works better than it ever did - and I bought it new. I have a Maytag Bravo washer that needed motor bearings replaced. In my initial research, I found the entire tub assembly would need to be replaced. I was told this by a Maytag repairman, Maytag customer service person, and found it on the internet. To have the part ordered/shipped from Maytag would have cost $300...then there would be the cost of installation. Luckily, I talked to Jason who informed me that a bearing kit had recently become available. He installed it the same day and saved me $$$. He is courteous, knowledgably, and very reasonable. My Electrolux dryer stopped working and had a "code" with a phone number attached. I looked on-line for the code and it stated "heating element". I called the phone number which happened to be Electrolux. I then called spoke with a person who told me what the ballpark cost of repair should be. I saw this listing on Home Advisor and read some reviews (all good). I sent the information and soon received a call from Jason. We spoke for a few minutes with him asking me pertinent questions about the dryer and set up a time to come to the house. I called today around noon and spoke to Jason and told him that my dryer wasn't working. Jason said that he could be at my house between 1-3. I asked... "Today?" He said: "Absolutley". An hour later Jason was knocking on my door. Jason diagnosed the problem and within 30 minutes my dryer was back up and running. Turned out the storm last night was the culprit and fried a part. The technician was at our home for about 30 minutes and, to the best of our observation, did not open the machine or perform what we would consider a thorough inspection before offering an opinion. The interaction itself was just as concerning. When my wife asked reasonable, straightforward questions, the technician responded with, "I'm the professional." We perceived his tone as dismissive and condescending. It raised a serious concern for us that he may have been talking down to her, and in our opinion, it felt as though she was not being taken seriously--possibly because she is a woman. When I contacted the company afterward to address these concerns, the response from ownership, in my opinion, was defensive and unproductive. Rather than working toward a resolution, I was told, in substance, that I was "too cheap to do the diagnostic myself," which I found both inaccurate and unprofessional. Based on our experience, and after reviewing other publicly available customer feedback, it is our opinion that the $125 diagnostic fee did not reflect the level of service provided. This review reflects our personal experience and opinions only. Others may have different experiences, but we strongly encourage potential customers to clearly understand what the diagnostic process includes before agreeing to service.
