Beautiful park in the Hidden Cove area. So happy I found it. Lots of cabanas you can reserve. I love how each cabana has a grill and pipe for washing anything. The lake is gorgeous for paddle boarding, kayaking etc. Take the entire family with you, grill, eat, and laugh with your loved ones.

    Bathhouse

I think this place would be so much better during the summer. We came during the off season in November and had some issues. We have a small camper so I wanted to be near the bathhouse. Unfortunately, we picked a spot where they had turned off the hot water and stopped cleaning the bathhouse. We were told it would be turned on but during our 4 night stay it was never cleaned or had hot water. The other bath house was nice but too far to walk to. Since it was the off season they had construction and lots of maintenance going on. It makes since to do this when it's not busy. The park itself was nice for walks around the lake and we saw wild turkeys and other wildlife. I was a peaceful place to camp and would probably be fun and safe place to camp during the summer.

    Only 44 not 44A or 44B

I travel to this area for business. I stayed in this park in 2022 without any issue. Upon returning this year, I went to their website to book an RV site for five nights. I found the website to be very difficult to navigate, appears that the park is either under new management or ownership. The website has RV site numbers and old RV site numbers, I thought since there were so many available sites on the online booking site that calling would be easier. I called and was given the runaround as though the park was completely full and they didn't know if they had space or not for me. After being put on hold several times while driving pulling my RV, I pulled over and told the young lady I would just book it online. Upon arrival I was given a map that was also not very user-friendly and told to proceed to site number 44. Navigating through their park going into the area most of the sites were individually numbered, I found 44B, I didn't see another 44 anywhere within any reasonable distance so I assumed because the other ones were not marked A or B but maybe it was just an old number because they have old numbers, new numbers, etc., as I explained. I got completely set up in the site unhitched the truck and went to open the stairs on my airstream trailer and stepped in a huge red ant pile. I called the office to ask if they could send a maintenance person to take care of these red ants. I also inquired about their sewer hook up because all of the sites were marked with the sticker that said not operational. They then proceeded to tell me that all of them are operational except for site number 44 a that I had booked online. I was told that I was in the wrong site and was going to need to move, the park was nearly empty. None of the other sites on the side of the road not on the water were occupied by anyone. I asked why I couldn't just take that site and was told that they had a reservation guaranteed and the site was secured by an additional payment from the person arriving. On asking them which sites I could move to I found the two they offered me site 46 or 47. Site 46 was full of red ants so I chose 47. I can do a 30 amp or a 50 amp for my trailer to me, it didn't matter. When I told them I would take 47 due to the fact that 46 was infested with red ants they told me there would be an additional charge $53 at this point after having spent 40 minutes setting and needing to breakdown and set up again, I was hot, sweaty, tired, frustrated and bitten by red ants I went ahead and took site 47 for the additional $53, no one ever came to treat red ants in addition to that no one ever checked into site 44B no one else was on that side of the road in that entire area of the park. No one else came in at all while I was there that I could see and I took several pictures to show that. In my opinion, the management and staff are very dishonest they were rude when I called. They were rude when I called to complain, obviously struggling financially and need to take additional money from me when I was nearly the only person in that side of the park. I would not recommend this park if you have another option, I've traveled extensively, visited all 50 states and made multiple reservations online, dealt with multiple parks and this overall was a very bad experience.

First time here and there is a Fee of $15 and this includes the daily pass till 8pm. Very nice area and plenty of lake access after payment. I looked up free public access points to the lake and this was one. I was informed it had been changed about 10 years ago so Google failed today. I still enjoyed the area and am fishing the docks.

The level of customer service I experienced here was insulting. I was a walk in customer who was looking to rent a jet ski. After paying them, I was asked to wait for the employee to help another couple. This process took 20 minutes and I was patient. When they finally got back to me, the employee went through orientation and let me know that if I was 1 minute late in returning, I would be charged an extra $130 for every 15 minutes. I thought this was steep but understood. The problem arose when I asked if my 2 hours started after my orientation started or from before I had to wait for the other couple, he responded by letting me know my time started 21 minutes ago when I paid and refused to extend my time for my wait. I asked for the manager and 3 young men in their early twenties came out and started to argue with me all at once, refusing to extend my time or give me a discounted rate for the time that I waited. After noticing that non of the employees were concerned in the slightest about customer service, I conceded and took the jetski. All in all, I was able to rent a jetski for 2 hours and use it for 1. After I returned with the jetski on time, they told me that they were out of gas at the dock and would have to take the jetski out of the water and to a gas station to fill it up and I would have to wait to see how much I would be charged for the gas. This was the worst experience I have ever had with renting a boat or jetski. The customer service I experienced here took out every drop of fun that I was expecting to have, it was a complete disappointment. I cannot find any way to get in touch with someone to give them feedback on the employees they have working at their company.

Beautiful place to camp and nice staff at the front gate. The food is ok at Rockin' s and the drinks are good. The biggest issue I had was the late night/early morning partying with music so loud earplugs didn't help. We also had kids in golf carts driving around blasting music around 1am than they stopped at spot 84 to drink and smoke. I wish they would actually enforce some sort of rules. The guy in the black Land Rover had a sticker on his car saying he worked there, but he only seemed to be around during the day. All in all it was beautiful and a nice place to camp and enjoy the water. We will go back, but probably not camp if they are going to allow all the local kids to run wild.
