Had our first visit and was impressed by it! It is a family friend center that is spacious, and has four different areas for kids and adults of all ages. They also had several rooms where you can host birthday parties and an upstairs floor with additional seating to eat and hangout. It is nice because the whole place is indoors so you can always enjoy the place in all weather conditions, which is great if you're looking for entertainment as a family. All the staff were really nice, and helpful, including the lifeguards. You can bring in your own coolers of food, drinks, etc. just no glassware, which helps on costs too. Clean, TONS AND TONS of life guards, a perfect split, one side adults and older kids, middle is the surfing, next to that is the 5-9 yr old and the farthest left ( judging from when you walk in the doors and look left) is where the babies, infants and toddlers have their space The food was better than expected! Normal price point (about $10) They have a $12 souvenir cup you can buy and it's unlimited refills every-time you come. The burger comes on a really yummy almost Hawaiian bread bun! There's a FlowRider, lazy river, a few slides, and even a deep area with a rock climbing wall for jumping in. We paid $22 for adults and $18 for kids, which felt fair, but it was very crowded on a Saturday afternoon. They have a second floor with tables, an outdoor patio, and a bar area, which is a nice touch for adults. Just be prepared--it's loud. We went for the first time this past Saturday for my granddaughter's birthday. While the park activities were fun, we found there to be way too safety hazards. The party room we were assigned to has a tiled floor. Yep, a tiled floor at a water park. Several children and adults slipped down hard due to the floor getting wet making the floor very slippery. There was a traction mat when you walked in the door but it was only along the entrance to the room. I was shocked that the floor was not textured or had an anti-slip surface. And if that slippery surface wasn't enough, the edging around the pool areas is very smooth and slippery as well. I slipped and fell into the lazy river after bouncing off my shoulder. My granddaughter fell on several occasions as well as did many of her friends. Crying kids at a birthday party is never fun. I guess it will take someone getting seriously injured before they fix these issues. We will not be back until those areas are corrected. If you go, be careful and maybe even wear water shoes that have a rubber sole. read more

Always so fun at the cove. My kids always love it and there's a lot for them to do. Sometimes the lines for the big slides can take awhile, but there are plenty others to enjoy. Lifeguards seem to be attentive, so that gives me peace of mind since the kids are basically running around while I sit upstairs. The upstairs can be sweltering hot in the summer, and crazy stuffy, so be prepared for that. I've not been to a water park before so I don't have a comparison BUT I wouldn't come back to this one. The inconvenience with getting dressed and undressed was the reason I can't give four stars. There's not a bench to be found. How do they expect folks to prepare to swim and then get wet clothes off? My daughter wouldn't even go into the restroom bc of how gross it was. If her clothes had touched the floor she would've wanted to throw them away. I guess you could always come dressed and then go home wet but the time and opportunity isn't always there plus who wants wet clothes in their car?? I went to The Cove with children ranging from 2 to 7. The kids had a blast. The youngest ones enjoyed the children's play area with the slides. The water was only a foot deep so my non swimmers still could have fun. My older swimmers enjoyed themselves on the larger slides and jumping in the deep end. We all loved the lazy river. We went on a Saturday so be prepared for large crowds. I suggest showing up as soon as they open to grab a table. Since I have little ones I needed our belongings to be on the first level. The lines are also shorter in the morning. Plus you will have chance to get a tube in the lazy river. By 2pm it is packed and a nightmare. read more

There is no seating at all near the pool for little ones. I guess whoever designed this place believed everyone including adults should be in the pool with kids all the time or adult shouldn't watch their little ones at all Strangely, there are seating near the deep pool where older kids would play. It's where parent wouldn't have to watch their kids. It's backward. There is no changing room at all...what kind of water park expect people comes in swim suit and leave the park in wet swim suit? Do you really want your kids in wet swim suit until you get home so that they can get sick? Of course, there is no real shower. One they have is in the public to rinse some and there is just ONE for entire park. My house has more showers than this place. There is just ONE family bathroom, one only. If a father brings in daugher or mother brings in a son, give up using bathroom. The family bathroom is always taken. It's cold in winter. For some reason they let a door open. It's freaking cold in a swimming suit unless you are in the water which is not very warm either. If you are not fortunate or late, there is no place to place your bag. You either carry or leave somewhere. You are not even going to find a chair to seat...Be prepared to stand entire time. it's dangerously overcrowded sometimes. I don't think they ever care how many people are in there. It is really dangerous depending when you go there. I believe it's a matter of time before someone gets hurt there. It amazing how much Little Elm has grown in 10 years!! The city built a Rec center and the lovely indoor water park that is accessible throughout the year!! It's still relatively new so it is in good shape all around. Rates are cheaper on weekdays, we pulled up right at 4pm on a Friday and found a line outside. It took about 10 minutes to get in. They check your bags and give you an accompanying tag for small kids. You can bring your own drinks and food, just don't bring glass containers, bottles or alcohol. Check in was simple, fee was fair $50 for 2 parents and 2 kids. There is plenty of seating on the upper level. Plenty of couches and armchairs. It say about another 40-50 tables and high chairs. The climate is controlled so you never felt too chill or warm whip in there. Pretty cool feature is the private cabanas(all you have to do is prepay online and book one) They have plenty of lifeguards in rotation and they are all pretty attentive. They aren't not picky and let the kids play; but they are quick to ensure no horse play. There are a couple of big slides, and 1 mid size one. The lazy river and rock climbing face pool are also very popular. There is a surfing attraction right when one walks in and there was a decent line for it. But they keep it moving along. This place is perfect for birthdays, or just an evening to enjoy the water. Excellent for the cold weather, and we will be sure to use it more next winter! Dirty and pretty inconvenient. There is only ONE family room for the entire place and the "showers" are in the public.. basically just a place to rinse off the chlorine. If you come on the weekend, don't bother trying to change. The floors are so dirty that you kinda feel uncomfortable being there. There are no changing rooms..unless you are ok changing in the restroom inside the toilet stall. I'm just surprised that a water park like this doesn't have proper showers or changing areas. However, my son did enjoy the toddler section and the slides, but I honestly felt it just wasn't enough to give any more stars. Cool little indoor water park, took my 2 nephews and my brother. We went on Sunday at 3pm. For two kids and two adults it was $64.00 dollars to get in. When you walk in to your left is the kids area in the middle is the surfing area and to the right is the older kids/Adults. Staff was awesome and very good with the kids and they take safety seriously. The kids area was age appropriate and my 4-5 year old boys had a blast, the surfing was fun and each person get two attempts the only downfall is the wait. We waited in line for 45 minutes and although wait was long we got to watch multiple people wipeout. The bigger slides we could not try do to height restrictions. Now to keep it real and wow... my personal preference just sharing but serving alcohol at a kids water park is a bit much for me. Also multiple signs stating you had to have proper swim wear and ya that's not enforced at all baby's in regular Diapers ( not the swim ones) blue Jean shorts, boxer shorts and some ladies in underwear definitely not swim wear. Fat Boy Tip of the day: Ladies no matter how skinny you are or how big you are it's a kids water park so the thongs and tops that aren't covering anything? We have been to The Cove at Lakefront in Little Elm quite a few times and have enjoyed it every time. It's definitely a place you can make into a full day event. I love how it's sectioned off for the little kids and then the older kids. The lazy river is super enjoyable and moves you swiftly. We love the cove. They have the water areas separated basically for ages. On one side you have the baby/toddler pool separated from the older kid pool/slides. On the complete other side are the bigger kid/adult slides, rock climbing wall, lazy river, etc. we love coming! Toddler time is a must if you have really little kids! read more

What a pleasant surprise! Driving here I did not know what to expect as it tucked off behind construction and a residential area. Lots of parking on a Sunday afternoon! Very excited it wasn't a tiny lot. This indoor water park was perfect for adults and children. It didn't feel stuffy or very humid like a few other indoor water parks we have been too. Babies have a cute area they can crawl around, kids have a spacious splash pad they can enjoy as it provides plenty of slides, adults can surf/wake board or get in the small lazy river. The neat thing is that they also have a rope climbing area (monkey bars) and rock climbing walls. Neat! My family can easily spend the whole day there. We went there for a party and I noticed they rushed the party out before the end time so that wasn't pleasant. There aren't any seating along the swim areas as they are outside or upstairs so nothing convenient. Not too many life vests provided so bring your own for the lazy river if necessary. read more

The Cove has so much promise - indoor water slides, very affordable for families....but, it is SO dirty. Everybody can bring their own cooler of food and drinks. The staff doesn't inspect your cooler. You'll see lots of people walking around with alcohol. I have been there 5X times and every time, someone has puked in the pool. The staff throws in more chlorine, and everyone jumps back in! The upstairs has CARPET which soaks up everything. All the cloth furniture upstairs is filthy with stains. Bathrooms are.....disgusting. You can wear anything into the pools. I saw a guy wearing jeans once. This place needs better protocols, and staff need to enforce the protocols. While the place has only been open for a few years, it is being run down fast. read more

They don't cap off how many people can come inside. We went today for my son's birthday, and left less than an hour later because it was so crowded it was becoming dangerous. The lifeguards didn't pay attention at all--my son was clearly having trouble staying above water in the deep end, like he was very clearly drowning, and the life guard stood there and watched as I jumped in to help him and carry him out---the lifeguard literally did nothing. Another time the lifeguard sent my 3 y/o down a slide and then sent 2 older kids right after him without waiting for him to reach the bottom, they crashed into my 3 y/o. It was way too crowded, irresponsible lifeguards, we could barely walk around. Older kids kept running and trampling my 2 kids. The bathrooms are really gross. There's not enough seating. We ordered tix online, and still had to wait over 30 minutes in line when we arrived. This place has so much potential, but they need to have a max capacity for the building or else it's just a huge safety concern. read more

I have been to the cove twice now but only for toddler time which is Monday & Wednesday 9-11am. It is $5 for the adult and the babies are free. This deal was worth it. It is only the two sections to the left of the surfing section. It was nice and calm both times we went. I'm not sure if I would enjoy this place during peak hours especially with such a little one. It would've been nice if they had a better changing area than just the bathroom stalls. I also noticed a lot of bugs. There were dead bugs floating in the kiddie area and massive spiders crawling in the walkway near the party rooms. Hopefully they address that soon. I bought an annual membership last March of 2021 and really enjoyed it except the water being to cold. My husband to our 8 year old on Friday and she forgot her goggles. That shouldn't be and issue. When I got home from work her eye balls were so red as well as the skin around her eyes. Next day, she had chemical burns around and on her mouth. Clearly they are using to much chlorine. Came here for Christmas Eve and it was so much fun! This was one of Their presents since I like to give them experience vs presents! It's like a smaller version of Hawaiian falls but Better.
