We only stayed one night as we were on our way to see our daughter in Austin. We would have stayed longer if not for that. Andy, one of the proprietors, was extremely helpful. My wife and I wanted a nice place to have dinner and Andy made some great recommendations and called in the reservation once we decided. There was no wifi while we were there, but this is not the kind of place you should be on wifi. The backyard with the chairs and swings beckons you to sit back, enjoy the view, and decompress.

This trip, that place is Marble Falls, which we happen to love! To me, when the employees do a good job, all hotels are about the same. I want a quiet room, good a/c, and a soft bed. This place had all three. The room was excellent.The gentleman at the front desk was a superstar and upgraded our room to a suite. Thank you Johnny! To most people, the free breakfast can be take it or leave it. I like to eat at 6 am and go back to bed for a while! Well, this place had the best biscuits and gravy I've had in a while. Almost as good as Grandma's! And I told her so! I know lots of people are picky and have bad experiences at hotels. I'm pretty easy and am usually very happy with where we stay. This place was great and we will stay again.

Fall is hands-down the most magical time to visit, leaves fall like glitter, and the lake views are serene. Bonus magic? Bret, the property manager, who also is Santa for Christmas and is one of the kindest human beings ever. Only in Kingsland! Located right next to Hooper's (yep, that house from Texas Chainsaw Massacre - now a great spot for comfort food and drinks), plus Junction Steakhouse across the way. Bed comfy. Nice view overlooking pool area. Shower was nice. Our faucet had very low water pressure. Restaurants: 2.5. We ate at J's. TK was our server and pleasant. Burnt ends. Steak salad. Burger. Food was ok. The bar in the hotel was great. The sports bar was meh. Main bar made much better drinks. The little marketplace had a great chocolate croissant and yogurt with granola and berries. Coffee was on point. Room service: 5 stars! We woke up Saturday hungry!! Hubs called and said the room service person was the most sweetest person. Helpful and we had the best breakfast!! The potatoes were fire. Eggs cooked to perfection and if you like oatmeal-it's so good. Overall I'd give this place 3.5. The weekend was rainy so we couldn't enjoy some of the hotel offerings.

The pool on the deck with amazing views on the lake was where we loved spending our time. The hot tub has the best views! The activity room has a living room area, pool and shuffle board, and a gym too. All were kept clean, staff were responsive and it wasn't crowded either. We will definitely be back.

Didn't encounter any crickets like I did at my last WM resort LOL... thank goodness. My one bedroom unit was on the second floor... had to go through two flights of stairs. Luckily, I just brought up my suitcase + cooler and left the other stuff in the car. Unit was very very spacious and cozy... more than enough space for a single person. King size bed is always comfortable at WM, bathroom space was huge (however, toilet paper was a far reach from the toilet LOL... you'll see what I mean when you see the picture... can't stop laughing LOL), full kitchen at its best (love the condiments!), large sitting area with TV, and lovely balcony overlooking another building LOL. Last but not least, I had a washer and dryer inside the unit... I did 4 days of laundry... YEAH! My overall 2 nights stay was just wonderful. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. Resort was well maintained. I also got a chance to do a WM owners update with Member Services... had a blast... thanks for the free gift!
