A big 75 birthday party in Marble Falls brought us here and the stay was wonderful! The condos are spacious, clean, modern, maintenance kept up well. The pool on the deck with amazing views on the lake was where we loved spending our time. The hot tub has the best views! The activity room has a living room area, pool and shuffle board, and a gym too. All were kept clean, staff were responsive and it wasn't crowded either. We will definitely be back. read more

There's no Wi-Fi included with your stay. You have to pay by device or days like you get on a cruise ship. Also they say it's a training site not a time share selling site but they say I have to upgrade for 20k - liars and thieves. Do not stay at Wyndham Worldmark anywhere. I paid 80 dollars to book here. Stayed five nights. People running and stomping above us, no sound barrier, super loud. If you are mobility impaired make sure you ask for a downstairs room. Room looked very nice, they said it was all new furniture. Bed was good but chair and sofa were like sitting on concrete. No give at all. Had lots of pain from it. Pool was really nice till their elevator broke. I had to climb up three flights of stairs and then couldn't use the pool the next day. Glad I wasn't the one in it when it broke. Fire department got the people out that were trapped thankfully. Be extremely careful pulling out of the driveway. Bushes blocking both ways, someone is going to get hurt if they haven't already. One would think if they cared about their guests they would trim back those bushes. Lots of traffic flying by both ways. Turning left to Cottonwood Shores there are some great restaurants. After visiting the wonderful town of Fredericksburg, TX, I headed over to the WorldMark (WM) Marble Falls resort. It was about an hour drive from town to resort which was great. This beautiful resort is somewhat perched on the hill side overlooking a lovely lake. Check-in was quick and easy. Got my unit key and drove to Bldg. 7. Didn't encounter any crickets like I did at my last WM resort LOL... thank goodness. My one bedroom unit was on the second floor... had to go through two flights of stairs. Luckily, I just brought up my suitcase + cooler and left the other stuff in the car. Unit was very very spacious and cozy... more than enough space for a single person. King size bed is always comfortable at WM, bathroom space was huge (however, toilet paper was a far reach from the toilet LOL... you'll see what I mean when you see the picture... can't stop laughing LOL), full kitchen at its best (love the condiments!), large sitting area with TV, and lovely balcony overlooking another building LOL. Last but not least, I had a washer and dryer inside the unit... I did 4 days of laundry... YEAH! My overall 2 nights stay was just wonderful. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. Resort was well maintained. I also got a chance to do a WM owners update with Member Services... had a blast... thanks for the free gift! This resort is beautiful and the rooms are incredible, this stay was for seven nights. The location is great and Marble Falls has some really great restaurants along with shopping. I had two suites...one a single king and one a two-bedroom (king and two queen) and both were fashionably appointed, extremely clean, and well-stocked. The check-in was quick and easy and Stephanie was awesome getting everything set up. Grace was wonderful giving an overview of the property and what was available in the local area. The only negatives for the entire trip, using an old-school drip coffee maker (versus Keurig) and the entry doors require an excessive amount of force to open. My recommendation...stay in top floors, the walking above you is extremely loud. I would stay here again and plan to in the future...HIGHLY recommend this property! read more

The Concierge desk is a hard sell trap for timeshare memberships. We're talking 'Glengarry Glen Ross' level buffoonery from Kayla and her staff. The front desk will insist you visit the Concierge desk as part of the check-in process. This is a deceitful tactic to capture your data. Avoid coercion to attend a vague 'marketing meeting' during your stay. You will be viewed as a mark for a sales quota. I've never been so offended at a property check-in. These unscrupulous tactics are mind-boggling in 2022. read more

Beautiful views over the river and beyond. The condo itself was mediocre in necessities, with the same appliances that you would find at a Motel 6. The washer and dryer worked well, and the bathroom was very spacious. No bathtub. Expect the cleaning crews to make as much noise as possible when cleaning a condo on any side of you, and the AC set at 72 permanently. Bring a fan with you if you need cool air to sleep in, because you won't be able to get it in the condo. We also thought about sleeping out by the pool to get some cooler air. read more

Great service before arrival, during stay, and after. The staff is excellent! The room was fantastic!!! The view --which I requested in advance--was amazing! I was in town for surgery and the staff kindly ensure to put me in a river/lake view room and one of the towers with elevator access. The elevator did stop working when we were leaving but a staff member was really kind and assisted us carrying up the luggage and he was really polite about it. Overall, this is a really nice resort-type timeshare along the river. The pool and amenities are really nice and there was ample (free!) parking available during a weekend in the summer. All of the rooms overlook the river and have beautiful sunset rooms. It's really nice that they built the buildings to have that feature. We were in the building closest to the river, but the resort is built in a rising fashion, so in theory, the further buildings should still be able to view the river. The 3 bedrooms/2 bath rooms are advertised to sleep 10 people: king size beds in 2 of the bedrooms (sleeping 2 apiece), 2 "queen" size beds in the 3rd bedroom, and a queen fold-out sofa (sleeping 2.) But, in reality, the 2 "queen" size beds would never sleep 2 normal adults. They are hotel-type full beds, more like oversized twin beds. Maybe 2 young children could sleep in each bed, but it should be advertised as such. Luckily, only one of our three nights had ten people in the room, and one of the girls brought an air mattress, so we made it work, but it was definitely a disappointment. The bathrooms were huge, which was nice for everyone to get ready through the day. The kitchen was a little small, but mostly well-equipped. Lots of utensils and cookware. We had to request additional dish soap and paper towels and trash bags, however, and the resort was a bit slow to deliver. The pool was really nice, albeit pretty small. The deck is large with lots of chairs for laying out and relaxing. There was a small children play area, but they preferred the pool which really inhibited the adult enjoyment time. They also closed the pool and hot tub pretty early and also kicked people out from the fire pits, all by 10pm. For a weekend in a hotel, we were definitely disappointed, as there was not any relaxing outdoor space nearby to enjoy after that. Overall, it was nice for a birthday party for a small group of adults, but recognize its limitations accordingly. The front office tried to sell everyone a timeshare membership. They required drivers to come to the desk and give them their license and solicited them at this time, which is a gross intrusion of privacy. I was even added to their mailing list and called several times after checking out, even after stating multiple times that I was not to be added to their marketing campaigns. This property maintains absurd COVID policies that they admit go well beyond the legal requirements. This includes silly and symbolic restrictions that do little to reduce risk such as keeping the playground and hot tub closed--when the least they could do is open them to one family at a time. I suspect because the property is a timeshare and people are locked in they feel little need to put in any effort to increase appeal to guests. Times like this reveal the misalignment of such arrangements, and make clear one danger (of many) of locking yourself in to such an arrangement, despite the sales pitch they'll give you. To be clear, this is nothing against the management of this property. It sounds like the policy is set by corporate--probably by the sort of over-zealous risk managers common in that sort of role--who in this case don't face the same push-back by business reality because of the timeshare structure. read more

Wow, what a hidden gem! This resort is awesome! My mother has been a Worldmark timeshare owner since I was a kid. Our entire family has enjoyed the comfort and beauty of Worldmark's resort properties. This one is no different. This is a brand new resort, built out over the last couple years. We stayed in the two bedroom/2 bath villa, that sleeps 6. It was a beautiful villa with upgraded amenities, stainless steel appliances and a nice sized patio with great views of the LBJ Lake! The resort grounds were beautiful! Great views of the lakes, nice registration office, recreation room, and pool area. The pool are also had a great splash pad for kids and a nice hot tub for adults. It would've been nice if the pool area was a bit bigger but nonetheless, we enjoyed every moment of it. Even my mom enjoyed getting wet in the splash pad! Overall, we had a wonderful time. We will definitely be back soon. I also want to add how great the staff was. Everyone was so friendly! See you soon! read more

I loved the resort. It was, of course, one of the newer Worldmark Properties and so looked great. Great decor and very friendly staff. Our stay was very comfortable and the bed was great! We are really looking forward to coming here again. However, there seems to be a lot of things they need to iron out. For example, none of the 2 story buildings have elevators which should be noted on the website like other properties. They also have a really nice jacuzzi that is also not listed on the website. So I highly recommend that they update their website to give people the most information. The other thing that was really odd... we got 3 phone calls from the resort asking if not having an elevator was ok. We said no, we would like an elevator or a ground unit. Then we got called again to ask if we had 2 reservations and we said yes. I guess they were puzzled by why we would have two suites but many people travel with their family. The main reason for the 4 star vs 5 star is that when we checked in, we were asked to come to an owner information. We were were told it was not a sale site and that it would only take an hour. (I am so gullible.) I love Worldmark and been an owner for years. I have so many credits that I can easily take 2 or more months of vacations. I don't really need to purchase anything. Well, we go in and leave the presentation 3 hours later! At first, I thought everyone was great but it ended up feeling for that last hour like a strong arm sales pitch under the guise of "owner education". We kept being told that it didn't matter if we purchase or not but then we kept being asked why we wouldn't purchase more? When we didn't look convinced, the manager came and basically went through everything again and asked us why we wouldn't want more credits. I HIGHLY recommend that you NEVER go to any presentation despite what they tell you or give you. They seriously make you feel bad or dumb for not purchasing any more credits. Everything about this resort is just so ideal. Being so new, the buildings and room were in great shape. I loved the single room that we booked, the layout of the unit, the way the balcony faces the lake/river, the decor, appliances, the sofa bed, the pool (on the small side but still pleasant), the always-available iced water, iced lemon tea, coffee and hot tea in the lobby, the activity center with a pool table and lounge chairs, the small gym, the free parking (Wyndham's downtown Austin location charges $30 per day). The check in was swift although I find the "concierge" part of the check in utterly unnecessary as Wyndham simply wants to make a sales pitch during your stay. As I said, this place is beautiful. I have many pictures that I will post later. My 9 year old granddaughter was so impressed that she declared that she wanted to go back here next year. Everything was going so beautifully the first four days and the granddaughter was having the time of her life. Until the 5th day when we went to the sales presentation, which we were told in writing that it would last only 60 minutes. I would have given this review the full 5 stars. The interview/sales talk knocked my review to 1 star! This is not the first sales pitch that I've had with Wyndham and I know what to expect. However, this time, we were told at the start that this would not be a sales pitch but it would only be an interview to get feedback on this fairly new facility and feedback on our ownership experience. read more

Nice, clean, good location, and well equipped. We (me, wife, father-in-law, and toddler) really liked the property. We aren't timeshare owners or anything, just hotel customers. Everything was clean, the abundant staff was friendly, and there were plenty of things to keep kids occupied. The splash pad was great for our son, the pool was good (although it was in need of a cleaning - lots of sunscreen floating on top, but not a big enough issue to dock a star), and the activity room had a pool table and a shuffleboard table, which I thought was a nice touch. As far as the rooms went, we had a 2br/2bath with 3 beds total and a good fold-out couch. Everything was in good condition and the beds were comfortable. And the patio was nice, too. To be honest, I was shocked at how well-equipped the kitchen was. I brought a knife from home since most rental kitchens have garbage knives, but they had a full block of decent knives, a blender (which I ALMOST brought from home, but our trunk is too small), plenty of pots/pans/dishes and even pyrex bakeware and an electric mixer. And, considering that it was only marginally more expensive than more generic bed and a bath hotel chains, it was a great value. All in all, if I found myself in the area again, I'd stay there without looking anywhere else. p.s. I'm pretty sure all rooms do have at least SOME view of the river. Ours was mostly obscured (ground floor of one of the buildings more toward the back of the resort), but some was still visible. We didn't book the room so we could stare at a river. read more

We arrived after a long day of travel about an hour after the 4pm check-in time. After waiting until after 6pm, my room is finally ready. I'm handed my keys and pointed to a building. Good thing I heard the rehearsed checkin instructions while waiting over 90 minutes because I was just showed to the door. Here are a few suggestions for the next time this "never happens" 1) Recognize that this may be a rare occurrence for you but it was my only experience with your facility 2) After delaying checkin past 6pm, I would appreciate sincere apologies instead of excuses and justification. 3) If you give me status updates over the 90 minutes I was waiting, I would feel like you cared about my experience. Instead of ignoring me unless I outright asked for an update. 4) Operational issues happen, but they shouldn't become excuses for a poor customer experience. They should be an opportunity to sell true customer service. Customer Service is much easier when everything goes as planned. read more

My family and I stayed there for a weekend while visiting family in a neighboring town. While the property was beautiful, they failed on a few items that are deal breakers for my family. The Pros - two bedroom two bathroom is very spacious & great for families. Rooms are clean. The Cons- there is no breakfast offered at this hotel! So, come prepared with coffee, waters, food items, etc. They do not make up your bed and clean your room during your stay like a typical hotel. The guest bedroom in our two bedroom condo did not have curtains (all other hotel rooms have blackout curtains). The guest bedroom window happens to face the exterior hallway.... they leave a hall light on all night and the light comes through the blinds... annoying to someone that likes sleeping in the dark ‍. There is no hot water! Our family came back to our hotel room at around 10. All 3 out of the 4 of us enjoyed ice cold showers... with the weather at 40 degrees, the cold shower was certainly unpleasant! Also, The front desk seems inexperienced and not very helpful. For a short weekend trip, the amount of essentials you need to bring isn't worth it especially when traveling with small children. The cold showers really turned us off. read more

We have a time share through another company and rolled our week into rci to stay here for a week. The location is amazing and the views spectacular!! As others have said they are quick to jump you for their " presentations" we were told there was a need for us to go to a meeting because they wanted current members opinions on ways to better their properties, we agreed to go with the understanding it was no more than an hour and they would give us a $100 gift card for our time. We agreed to go and were upset to discover the concierge lied to us ( it was a sale pitch for this timeshare) and it took almost two hours of our vacation time. Besides that we were dealing with personal issues and while they didn't know this at the time comments were made and jokes told that neither of us found funny and it went over the presenters heads that we were shutting down the more they joked. We left in silence and went and looked for a manger to let them know what we had experienced they apologized profusely and agreed to speak to their reps about personal comments being made to visitors. I wish they were more honest about what the presentation was about and would present it as needing information but oh well live and learn on our part. We had a list of ideas for them and I forgot to give them out when we left as I wasn't feeling well so I'll leave them here and maybe they will be considered. Add an additional trash can to the extra sink in master bath A bigger skillet is needed in the rooms claiming to sleep six we only had two people and a small skillet barely worked for us The WiFi didn't work in our room so we used our phones to watch Netflix because the signal wasn't strong enough ( we were one building down from the office) A list of items and number of each that are provided by the location would be great! I packed most of my spices only to find them provided in our unit. Which was awesome but others we have stayed at didn't so you never know what you need to haul along or not. This is a new time share and we are staying in a 2 bedroom. It is more spacious than other world marks we've stayed in with better upgrades in the bathrooms and kitchen. However, if you are use to the big hot tubs you won't find that here. But you will find a beautiful big pool. read more

This is definitely a great place to stay. The accommodations are nice. The rooms are large. It has all the cooking appliances you need including a blender , toaster, coffee maker, microwave and stereo system. All the bedrooms have TV's , plenty of pillows and blankets and beautiful view from even the ground floor balcony. They have a pool and hot tub along with a splash pad for the kids. Weight room, pool table , shuffle board and Fire pit to sit around. There are gas grills scattered around and playground for the young ones. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. BUT all need to be aware that this is a timeshare facility and they do have an agenda to sell you a timeshare or upgrade your current status. The one hour informative presentation they offer is a way to get 2-4 hours of your time and try to sell you that timeshare. Which is great if you want one and can truly afford it. I sternly declined the offer to listen to the sales pitch since the am already an owner. Of course to get to the amenities you have to go through the lobby and see these folks daily. I will say that they were still very friendly ( and they knew who I was) and they were very helpful. I will definitely stay here again. read more

We got there and they had moved us to one cheap standard hotel room a few miles away - we had 2 families. No river, no kitchen, no laundry. Not what we booked. We stayed for the third time. They still persist in trying to get everyone to attend their "information feedback" (really a HARD sales presentation on Worldmark--do NOT go. We regrettably went during our first visit). As previously, I had to say "no way" about 8 times. They then called the room every morning. I finally unplugged the phone. Otherwise, the rooms are nice and well maintained. The staff was friendly except for being persistent about attending the sales pitch. The rooms are VERY badly insulated to prevent noise from adjoining units and loud walking noise from above. People cleaning adjoining units are loud and play BAD music very loud. The complex is only about 5 minutes from Marble Falls and some decent restaurants. VERY few of the room have a view of the river. read more

It was my mini honeymoon and it was the absolute worst experience! First they said I cancelled my reservation (on the day of my wedding--when I didn't need any added stress) which I didn't cancel, then after we got everything cleared up I couldn't check in because my credit card "wouldn't save", I had to wake up early on the day after my wedding (because they called me incessantly) to officially "check in". Once in the lobby I was pressured into a sales seminar for their parent company. Not to mention my key card was deactivated and I had to go to the dreaded front office again later. Not once did anyone ever apologize (and all these "complaints" were voiced), in fact they were down right rude and blamed hotels.com for all my problems. I'd have to say this place was the damper on my marriage weekend. I definitely do not recommend and will never go back. I probably won't even venture to another Wyndham property considering the horrible customer service. read more

I called Amber In the front desk but apparently people can be as loud as they want until 11 pm when quiet time begins. It is 11:30 pm and they are still running back and forth.
