Attended a Luncheon in the ball room which was a perfect venue for whatever your occasion might be. We're expecting a certain number of attendees and were shocked by the number exceeding that by a lot. Venue never blinked and stepped up and made everything work. The food was delicious and there was plenty for everyone. The ability to adjust on the fly was amazing. The staff were professional and courteous and great to work with. We are definately going to make this a more frequent stop and will be visiting the restaurant soon. Thank you so much for adjusting and accommodating our function.

The restaurant serves flavorful well-plated dishes worthy of big-city dining, a short American breakfast menu for guests, and drinks in the cozy well-supplied bar and lounge. You'll find welcoming owners, hosts, and staff, and of course nice guests :-) We visit relatives in a nearby town occasionally, and this inn is a local treasure. On this visit, we stayed in the main house in a simply-appointed room with wooded views on the second floor, a flight of steps up from the bright lobby, sitting rooms, lounge, ample restaurant, expansive open deck, and small screened-in porch. We arrived late in the evening on this country lane, and we found the peaceful haven that we love, as the friendly owners took time to welcome us while they were busily putting finishing touches on lovely preparations for one of their always sold-out holiday dining events. On this holiday, breakfast for guests was continental, with freshly made muffins and pastries. Other mornings, there was a short menu of tasty made-to-order breakfasts. We enjoyed the eggs benedict, over-easy and poached eggs, a cheddar omelet, potatoes, english muffins, and thick whole-wheat and white toast that tastes homemade. They have a nice technique for thin perfectly-crispy bacon :-) In between peaceful strolls along the inn's wooded pathways down towards the lake, we drove the few minutes to the eclectic shops and cafes of Peterborough, enjoyed a performance by an excellent musician along with well-crafted beers at a nearby brewery, and even took in our relatives' favorite friendly local bar, with chili dogs on grilled buns, and free picklebacks with our Jameson shots! We met a number of the inn's staff and managers during our stay, and each one was welcoming, while always actively attending to all the needs of the inn and their guests. We love this lovingly-created refreshingly-peaceful country inn.

The staff here are so friendly and they truly have a heart to serve; from cleaning, preparing awesome meals three times a day, to maintaining the facilities, these people know how it's done. There are plenty of beds and rooms here for big groups or churches and endless amount of things to do on site such as basketball (these have an outdoor court), soccer/frisbee (they have a huge field out front), volleyball (outdoor court), nature trails, bonfires (love them fire pits!), swimming/kayaking (THE LAKE IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! Definitely need to check it out!!) and more! So you can see there will never be a dull moment when you're there, but if you want time to unwind and just relax then there are plenty of places there you can go to do just that :)

The facilities are always clean and well-maintained. The employees are just great people and always quick to serve. I love the nearby lake, where you can kayak and canoe. They also have an area roped off for swimming with a floating dock and a floating mat. They have a great bonfire pit outside of the main building with chairs. They've been working on a prayer garden for awhile, with some impressive stonework and landscaping. It's cool that much of it has been done thanks to volunteers. I'm excited to see it when it's finally complete! I have special dietary needs, and the kitchen is always good in accommodating for that. The conferences are always reasonably priced. A couple of weeks ago, they even let my chapter have a free three-day conference in exchange for a day of work on the prayer garden. Toah Nipi's definitely one of my favorite places with some great memories.
