For whatever reason, whether it's the staff, management, protocol , etc., their front desk staff is one clown short of a circus. I've been trying to make an appointment with another dr's office (based on the referral of my EMG dr), and FOR 3 MONTHS they've unsuccessfully faxed my records over. The part that gets me every time is the fact that I was told for 3 months that they had been faxed/were faxing them then-and-there every time I called. They weren't b/c I later found out they "didn't know what records to send" (complete lie; I labeled which ones on my signed consent form). They need to hire better office staff b/c the incompetency and unprofessionalism (lying to me about having faxed them) is just completely unacceptable. Stupid idiots...

I waited for about 10 minutes then a person that was discharged had a question for the intake person about where his prescription was sent, which she took the time to try and answer before checking me in (which was fine at the time). When she finished with the discharged patient, she begins my check in and asks me to verify my address. She then stepped away and when she returned told me she had just been told that they could not see anyone else that day. I did not take the time to discuss the unfairness and ridiculousness of this decision as my ride had just told me he was going to run an errand while I waited to be seen. I wanted to catch him before he left, because I didn't want to be stranded. This was easily the worst experience with a medical office reception area. It is now abundantly clear why your ratings are so low. If anyone in this office has a goal to improve that for 2026, you really need to take time to train people when and under what circumstances to stop seeing patients.

A Gyn was the first on the list and not easy to find. How does one pick from a listing of names covered by insurance? And, how does an over 50 woman find a Gyn who is not focused only on the baby making years? After a couple of poor choices on my part, I found Dr. Bressler. I think I'm a tough-cookie of a patient, because I have lots of questions and lots of opinions of my own. What I truly want in a doctor is someone who continuously educates herself on her practice, is available for appointments, will answer urgent questions, and when she answers--will do so with direct and well though-out answers. Dr. Bressler is exactly that doctor. She helped my find a primary care physician also, and her team is helpful and friendly. One more thing...I was not familiar with DuPage Medical Clinic before my first appointment with Dr. Bressler. Over the last year, I have visited an internist, a dermatologist, and had several recommended tests (for aging women). Each appointment with each department at DuPage Medical has been timely--I mean, I haven't had to wait longer than 15 minutes, if that. Thought you all should know, because no one likes to be late for work because due to a long waiting room wait.
