This place was terrible!!! Be forewarned you are literally paying for just the venue itself....leading up to the day of wasn't bad at all. Lots of detailed meetings to go over everything. Day of is where the problems came up. We arrived on time and the place was a disaster. It looked like their was a wedding the night before, there was not. In the grooms sweet there was a spilled drink all over the floor, just left there. There were multiple silverware, plates, and cushions that were dirty. Bathrooms were so gross, toilets not flushed, and a mess everywhere. They had only one staff member on duty until 2/3pm so she was left to do everything herself. So the hours we added on for a relaxing morning, it was helping clean, vacuum, mop, wipe down, throw trash away, switch chairs and cushions out, dust, etc. During the wedding the caterers ran out of food!! Multiple tables did not have a protein and we had the right number show up. Our guests were served warm beer and wine because they didn't out enough in the fridge, our speciality bar we paid extra for was non existent, and they ran out of certain alcohols for our open bar. The only reason they are getting two stars is because they had one employee that did whatever she could to make it right, all with a smile on her face and our guests seem to have a great time aside from the disaster that occurred. We booked before tasting and the food was not good. Thankfully almost everything else we are bringing in with our own vendors. Any suggestions here folks? I know 2 different couples that were supposed to get married here this summer and this venue told them that they would not refund them AT ALL or let them reschedule for next year. Beautiful venue, but definitely had some issues the day of. To begin with, people weren't seated in the chapel area until about ten minutes before the service. That meant everyone was cramped together in the entrance way. After dinner was served, I went to the bathroom and the garbage was over flowing. You'd think someone would have had the time and foresight to empty it a few times. I don't know what else was from the venue, but there were other issues as well. read more

I will say, my special day at This venue was amazing.... But not because of Adam or this corporation. I did everything. I can't tell you how disappointed I was with this venue for a multitude of reasons. I would NEVER recommend this place to my friends who are brides. They were hardly willing to work my military husband... even though they "support" military couples. They made my planning process with military and COVID a living hell. Then, on the day of, Adam we as less than helpful. He was rude and condescending. I paid him $500 to be my "wedding planner" and he literally did less than nothing and was rude when we asked him anything. I would NEVER want to work with him again. I used to be a wedding planner so I am very familiar with the industry and this venue is by far the WORST venue to work with. We knew COVID was an issue since the day we started venue shopping for my sisters wedding so we were prepared for any changes to come up along the planning process. We were bounced around to different staff throughout the planning process which was confusing and a little unsettling and finally ended up with Adam, who I believe is the manager of this venue. Here's a summed up list of the issues we faced: 1. They would not do any refunds during COVID and the farthest out they would allow you to change your date was three months. Ok fine, we'll keep her original date. 2. The wedding date was February 14, 2021. The same day they were expecting the snow blizzard to roll through, but again, Adam was not budging even when I asked him at rehearsal on February 12, what was their plan for inclement weather. Still going to have her wedding. 3. Throughout the wedding, Adam was no where to be seen several times when important parts were coming up. For example, speeches/toasts. I went to the bar and said "I believe we have a champagne toast is that correct?" The bartender said idk, let me go ask. Comes back and starts filling glasses and just setting them on the bar. as the line is dying down, My aunt goes up to the bar and asks for a champagne and the bartender says we don't have it, I can make you a spritzer? So what happened to the champagne they were just passing out? 4. The snow was coming down fast and piling up on the front steps throughout the day, with people coming in and out the front lobby was getting wet. Again, Adam nowhere to be seen or even offer to get a mop, broom, ANYTHING! Two hours before the wedding my day of help had to GO TO LOWES and get salt, a broom, mop, everything to get the snow cleared before guests arrived. And then again before the final farewell my BOYFRIEND in his nice wedding attire was out there shoveling snow so my sister could get to the car. 5. Adam does not respond quickly to anything, I accidentally left my notebook somewhere in the venue after a meeting and it took almost two months before getting it back because he would not return my sisters calls and emails or my calls and voicemails. Very very very disappointed with this venue and staff that I would make it a point to any bride looking to not book with them. read more

Liz and her staff at Hidden Pines made our daughter's wedding day an absolute delight. On a scale of 1 to 100, I am sad that I can only give them a 100, they deserve a 150! All the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at-home. Liz was seamless in her fluid execution of the day, her advice and recommendations were spot on. My wife and I have already said that when our other daughter decides to get married, we'll nudge her towards Hidden Pines. If there was anything I would change about our experience there, it would be that it just kept going, like a Twilight Zone episode, the reception that never ended. We, and all who attended, experienced such a beautiful wedding and spontaneously fun and dance-filled reception, no one wanted to leave. I HIGHLY recommend both Hidden Pines Chapel and Liz as your on-site coordinator, they're a winning combination. read more

What a wonderful wedding! Liz, our wedding coordinator, was responsive and prompt! Everything went smoothly (even though there was a flash flood warning on the day of the wedding!) I couldn't have asked for a better venue. The staff were incredibly kind and quick. Everything I needed was there for me! I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married. It's simply gorgeous and the staff makes you feel special! My sister got married three years ago at a different venue. While it was a beautiful wedding, we felt like a number instead of a person. Our neighborhood has weekly negative experiences with Hidden Pines. They don't allow any guests inside after the bride & groom leave the venue, so their guests (usually drunk and loud) congregate in the parking lot -- along the back fence of our homes. Not only is HP oblivious to this, one of their employees has recently started 'pumping-up' the crowd to "yell and make enough noise to wake the neighbors." read more

I could not be happier with my wedding experience at Hidden Pines Chapel. Our wedding was Nov. 25, 2017. Kelli and Sydney were quick and clear with communication, and always responded promptly and politely. I never felt like a bridezilla! The REAL MVP though, is Stacy, our Day-Of Coordinator. She was incredibly organized, calm, and sweet, and her confidence helped not just me but my mother and mother-in-law feel as prepared for the event as we could be. She was so helpful - from our first meeting a month out, to the rehearsal, to the big day. The day was a blur, and thankfully, incredibly smooth and successful. My now-husband and I will remember the day forever! read more

The venue is lovely, but be aware that you are basically only renting a building and catering. Also, like most wedding venues, any refund policy is laughable, so don't let them pressure you into signing anything before you're ready. We had 205 guests (paid for 213)and the basic Saturday food/alcohol. It came to 23k. They opened the building at noon and left us alone to decorate which was great. We had to move all the promotional materials and complain about the number of chairs, but they worked it out. They forgot the centerpieces, but it really wasn't a big deal since we brought some flowers. The food was 8/10, which I was pleased with since we only bought the basic buffet. They provided a GM who was there throughout. She was helpful at times. Everything was pretty good. People had a nice time. My only real complaint was at the end. They were of the opinion that we should take everything we brought home with us, even the trash. We ended early, we were not excessive, and yet they thought I should load up every flower, every used candle, every empty box, every table runner, every half used crayon. I really felt like trash was their job. She didn't even want us to use the dumpster until I pitched a fit. Who rents a space, and thinks they will have to bring home carloads of garbage at the end of the night? Other than the ending, I was actually pretty happy with the event and the value. read more

So we had November 2020 booked for my daughters wedding. Needless to say Covid hit. We had to get a doctors note from the groom's father to prove that he couldn't travel and to try to get the date rescheduled. They would only allow us dates through the early spring 2021 to reschedule. Then they offered us Monday-Thursday through the summer. We had paid the deposit and made several payments on the rest of the contract. We went ahead with a very small wedding and now have had to hire a lawyer to try to recover some of our payments. We do not want our deposit back but payments made on services NOT rendered need to be returned. NEVER DEAL WITH THEM! read more

The venue is beautiful and the staff seem helpful. It's great if you are going for a new, rustic theme. However, in the midst of making our decisions, we were bombarded with emails from third-party vendors. This means our information was either shared by the venue or sold by the venue. That is not okay considering we did not give our consent for our personal information to be shared. We knew it was hidden pines that shared our information because some of the emails were stating how easy it was for them to deliver such and such item to hidden pines. read more

If you are considering Hidden Pines for your wedding venue, I highly encourage you to read this summary of events from our wedding before you do so- I was the Best Man at the wedding, so I witnessed everything firsthand. I was incredibly disappointed in Hidden Pines Chapel and their staff. -The family requested that 8 chairs be at each table. HP called and said that 10 chairs would be used because they didn't have storage space for the extras. A brand new wedding venue with no storage space? -They don't own a piano. Fine, but they wouldn't even let us leave the piano there overnight, so the father of the groom had to bring one for the rehearsal dinner, take it back home, then do it over again the next day. -There is no space at all for the groomsmen to leave their belongings or hang out in. The groom found an empty room (future office room) to escape to, but the HP girls tried to kick the groom and the best man out of that room, that they used to pray and talk in, 10 minutes before the ceremony. -Tanya wasn't around to give instructions to guests when they arrived. Guests roamed around the building and hung out in the reception hall. -Tanya was clueless when the ceremony was supposed to start. She gathered the bridal party at the back door, only to stand there. The ceremony started 25 minutes late!!! She didn't even tell the live musician, who had already been playing for over 30 min. -Tanya wasn't even in the room when the ceremony ended to direct the groomsmen and bridesmaids off the stage... There were a lot of confused faces about what to do. She came out from her office when the last couple exited... -Tanya didn't communicate the Bridal Party's names to the DJ to be introduced, so the bridal party stood in the hallway for over ten minutes, while she did this. -None of the HP employees were there to make sure that the guests didn't go through the buffet line while pictures were taking place, so everyone had finished their food before the party was even introduced... read more

I am giving this venue 1 star because I was given a bad experience from the moment of interaction with their associates. As I was walking toward the office, the associate walked out and gave us a snotty "may we help you?" I explained to her that we were here to tour the venue, we were running late due to construction and heavy traffic on the way there. The lady walked into the office and walked back out ignoring us and greeting the couple behind us. Not only this but the venue booked my wedding date and never gave my prior notice causing a big inconvenience since I travel 4+ hours to see the venue. If the venue was booked for my non-negotiable wedding date, then why wouldn't they tell me ? Waste of a drive waste of time and terrible but short experience ! read more

The venue is beautiful, but it does not make up for the rude staff. Due to Covid the original date had to be canceled. They would not refund any of the money or let the bride reschedule to a date over a year out. Most of the wedding party was traveling from out of state and would not be able to attend if it was held at the date given as an option. The bride and groom paid for drinks for about 110 people and only about 50 were able to attend because of the virus. Liz, the staff member, said they were doing the bride a favor by allowing them to have a wedding they paid for. She refused to let them take any of the leftover food or continue to serve it throughout the night. People wanted seconds of the food that was already paid for and were refused. Many people saw the bartenders putting water in the drinks. Overall, the bride and groom were challenged by the staff at every turn. Every request was denied. This is a trying time for everyone and instead of trying to make a bad situation better, Liz left the bride in tears. They did not try to be accommodating or even nice when met with any challenges that arose or much less the ones that presented during this pandemic. Save yourself and your big day from this horror show. You will not get what you paid for! read more

This place is a train wreck! Beautiful place but the staff and management basically ruined my daughter's wedding. I know these are trying times with COVID but this is their business. And the service industry should be accommodating. They had to cancel their first date and had paid in FULL and they wouldn't refund a penny. They wanted to reschedule for next year. Elizabeth wouldn't even consider an option for that so they were given several dates before September and most were for a Wednesday or Thursday. Really? Elizabeth told my daughter she was doing her a favor by letting her have a date. A date they had paid for. Seriously, a favor? A date on a Friday night was her only option. They were trapped using this venue. My daughter was so embarrassed when her guest asked for seconds and were denied. Although they had paid for at least 45 more people. Not one morsel of food was allowed out of the building from this venue. Where did all that food go? They also paid for a full bar. They watered the drinks down. Several people saw this and when confronted Elizabeth admitted to watering them down. When we booked this wedding they were very nice. They wanted the money. There was no concern for the couple after that. They were dealing with wedding planning from Florida which is difficult in itself. Elizabeth and the Hidden Pines management made this a nightmare. Please choose carefully. I don't want another bride and groom to experience this on the most special night of their lives. read more

Leaving this review based on their open house tonight. I will be getting married here in 2017. It surpassed my expectations. My thought was it was going to be like any other boring bridal expo, walk around, talk to a lot of people, forget half the information you were told, and it pleasantly was not. They had their preferred vendor there Oliver's fine foods it was great! Had a great variety of food to taste, they had the reception area decorated, seated, flowers, linens exc.
