It's a smaller building, on a backroad that is very easy to miss. I know my Mom and older sister love coming in here and today was my first stop in. The gift shop was filled with many items for Thanksgiving/Christmas, although I'm not sure if this is seasonal or not (versus year round). I enjoyed browsing the items, there were so many great ones to look at and all of them were very reasonably priced too! I eventually settled on an awesome snowman decoration for Christmas time. They have successfully helped me get a wider variety of birds to me feeders. If you need help that will walk listen to what you are trying to find, or what critters you want to attract. They offer tips and tricks on getting the best results. I have used their advice and it works every time! The store: There is so much here! I've gotten bird baths, bird houses, butterfly houses, feeders, hooks, poles, bird seed, suet, and the most coveted love mealworms (a must for attracting bluebirds). Overall: I am giving this store the highest rating possible because I've never had a bad experience here. They know what they are doing, they are good listeners, and they genuinely care about people. Each cheese was labeled with their town of origin so you could see what was local or not and choose that way, if you wished to. I love the fact that they wrap the cheese in real cheese friendly paper (a sort of waxed brown paper) and label it with the name. That was how I found Artisans Nest. I raced over there, trying to make it before they closed. My darn maps app told me they were on the wrong side of the road - long story short, I missed them. There was a woman walking up the sidewalk who saw me. Turns out she worked there and had just closed up. She let me in and showed me where the wallets were. I found two that I love and they were even on sale. She went out of her way and I truly appreciate it. Her shop is small and packed with wonderful handmade things from all over the world. I have already made a date with a friend to head back over to check it out when we have more time. I saw lots of great gift ideas!
