I recently purchased three items in this store a few minutes before they were closing (a brand-new ottoman, metal vertical locker, and metal basket). The employee, seemed to be in a hurry, but still kindly offered to load the items in my car. I told him I was concerned about all of the items fitting in my car in one load and he insisted it would be fine. While I was moving items in my backseat to my trunk to make room, he loaded my car. I have attached photos showing how he loaded the items. The fabric underneath the Ottoman was torn and the legs were scratched up. In addition, the tint on my windows was damaged. I called the store the next day and explained the situation to Jan and Jan said that they guarantee the loading of items and that she would either refund me the money or order another brand-new ottoman, but I had to email the photos to the manager, Kim. Kimberly responded and was very rude and unprofessional. She stated that since I cannot prove that the damage was done by the employee loading my car, they weren't going to do anything. All of my photos were time stamped and taken in their parking lot. I could not go back inside the store to talk to them, because they were already closed. I am in honest and fair person and I am so disappointed in the service I received. If you buy anything here, do not let them load your car. Also, they have a final sale policy on everything, but they don't tell you that. It is printed on your receipt AFTER you've already purchased the items. Their rebuttal to my credit card company was simply that I signed the credit card receipt. Legally, that's all they had to do.

They keep 50% no matter what the price. I tried to negotiate a moderately priced item and because I wouldn't sign their form immediately the woman at the desk called back her "appraiser" and wouldn't even look at the art item. Apparently this type of item is too high price for this store and they would keep 50% no matter what so I was happy to leave. I'll never go back to that place. The stores quality is about as good as a front door stickers look....CHEAP.

This last time it took about 40 min to get inside the door and wait time at checkout was about 40 min. The head lady at checkout is the owner I assume. She yelled out several (3-4?) times to the front door keeper "don't let anyone else in"... "if you let someone else in....". I'm thinking wow - she doesn't want more customers in the mostly empty house. She doesn't get it that the hold-up is HER and her methods. They write down the item prices on a piece of paper, then add the items up on a calculator. I think if they had a register it would be more efficient. Or maybe someone going through the line and adding up prices before getting to checkout. Very very very inefficient. She even told one customer, "just put the SHIT on the floor", because the table was getting crowded. She said to one customer - "we are not incompetent, we are just frustrated". She's the owner and she has control of how things work. I think she just doesn't know a better way to operate with high volume of people. There was at least 5 workers there - 2 at checkout, 1 door keeper, 1 guy in garage, 1 lady floating around. I have been to many estate sales over the past year with about 12 companies that I keep a record of - for prices and overall experience so I have a good basis to rate them. I would NEVER hire her for a sale - the home owner will likely lose out on sales. Ok but with all that said, she does offer fair prices on most items. I think it was the 3rd day with 50% off. We spent 2 hrs there, mostly in line waiting. If you see something and want to spend hours there it could be worth your time. Overall experience - this company gets a 1.

This estate seller, Jackie, seemed to be overwhelmed with her job as estate sale organizer. The…read moresale process was extremely lengthy, with customers waiting in line for 90 minutes on the first day and thten an additional 30 minutes to check out (and that was even over an hour past sale start time). Time aside, however - this estate sale company gave me some really strange vibes and I would never hire a company like theirs to handle my estate due to their unprofessional manner. They made disparaging comments about the property owners to sale customers, and also seemed to be venting their own personal frustration on customers as well. They also had a case of "precious" items (sterling and the like) which was sitting right next to the sale runner at the checkout table, with a blanket covering the top. Although many people asked about it, they never did offer any of it up for sale, stating it "wasn't worth [her] time to price it', as "[she] only had a very small scale and since the price of silver had changed so much recently, [she'd] just 'take it to her guy'". Really unfortunate for the estate owners; I can't imagine how much they might have lost out on due to this company's priorities.

The store is very clean and well organized and Tim let me fully test the camera. The price was very fair and Tim worked with me to make sure I could take care of a maintenance item without having to cover that cost after the purchase. This was my first actual pawn shop purchase and I really appreciated Tim's professionalism, friendliness and effort to make a fair sale. I will definitely be a repeat customer if the opportunity affords itself.

Just wish they would label and price as much as they can (big items or high quality items) and do 50% off day like all the others.
