We did make some money $3000 - but in hindsight I might have donated things instead of done an estate sale because we didn't have many valuable items and I worked so hard before the ladies even came to try to price and organize many many items. However even donating items is a lot of work! Downsizing, if you are collectors and pack rats is hard. Do it while you have the strength! At least 2/3 of our items were sold. Huge help. Keep In mind that furniture can be the hardest thing to sell unless you can easily cart and carry it. These ladies are in my opinion the best in the Denver area!

Broadway and 5001 Oakland St. They sell antiques, collectibles, and estate property. They usually have at least two auctions per week, one at each location. I've been to a couple of their auctions and they have a lot of stuff. You have to battle the usual Ebay store owners, Resale shops, and brokers but sometimes you get lucky and get something at a fair price.... Personally, I think BAESS is one of the better auction houses in Denver, if only for the fact that they conduct auctions on a regular basis. (Most of the auction houses around here might do 1 or 2 a month).

The auctioneer moves things along rather quickly and all the staff was friendly to us. There is a little lunch bar ran by nice people who homemade sandwiches. Yes, there are chips and candy bars, but the breakfast burrito was homemade. I didn't feel that the auction house was not over filled, and the staff helped to move your stuff out. We checked out rather quickly, and the office staff was very friendly. Just a great auction experience and you should come on down to enjoy it yourself.

When I got home and opened the box, I found that it was missing the 5lb weights. I reached out to customer service, got an email that someone would be in contact with me, then heard nothing back. I tried calling and their answering service just told me to reach out via the contact us page. I decided to log in to my account and low and behold found a message from them apologizing that the item was mis-labeled and said I could return the item within 7 days. Unfortunately my 7 days had already passed and I live 25 minutes away and have no desire to drive back. VERY disappointed with this. I paid about $50 and feel that they should have offered me a refund. I should not have to drive back to return an item they mislabeled. Really disappointing.
